The whore of Alaska Sarah "the killer" Palin has opened her filthy mouth again rehashing a time-worn out unfounded allegations of the fundamentalist lunatics fringe of the right wingers, the Talibans of the Republican Party. These raving madmen and women are desperately trying to change the subject by distraction - just throwing out bones out there hoping that the American lap-dogs will be distracted into chasing it instead of earnestly trying to figure out, how to right all that George Bush made wrong! Instead of addressing issues very important to the American people like the tanking economy, they are shamelessly trying to link a then eight (8) years third grader, Senator Barack Obama to an alleged activism of a hippy-era front-man! But nobody knows who Senator John McCain ever met in his life that was doing one thing or the other when he (McCain) was merely eight years old? Or what he was doing at eight years old - may be at first grade being not the brightest bulb in a chandlier or whether he was even in school at all or playing hooky-pooky. Nobody ever mentions that Senator John McCain was too callous that he walked out on his fateful wife Carol McCain because she was involved in an auto-accident? (Icheoku says ask Ross Perot) According to Senator John McCain, Carol McCain was not the wife he married! (Carol was a swim-suit model before she married John McCain and then the accident). If this latest antic is not a cliff-hanger desperation at the highest echelon of the Grandpa Senator John McCain's campaign, Icheoku says, nothing else could so qualify.

The good news however is that these desperadoes are running on empty as Americans cannot be fooled again by fear-mongering air-heads whose only qualifications for wanting the presidency is that they feel entitled by a supposed heritage. To these munchkins, Icheoku says, NOT THIS TIME! A septuagenarian John McCain and beauty queen "stripper" animal killer Sarah Palin thought that their present Houdini-tactics will yield them the White-house when they are offering America more of the same as the last eight disastrous years of George Walker Bush! A beauty queen air-head who is so idiotic that she cannot even remember the name of any magazine or newspaper she has ever read. The emptiness of this Alaskan Jezebel makes George Bush's mediocrity pale in comparison, after-all she can see Russia from Alaska. This Alaskan wildlife 'decimator' Sarah "air-head" Palin would have been better turning tricks in the streets of Las Vegas as she is so pedantic that she talks street. But America if you want doom and gloom to envelope this our beloved nation like a San Francisco summer fog, then continue George Bush's government in McCain+Palin!

Investigation by a team of Icheoku researchers has revealed that the National Republican Trust Political Action Committee (PAC) in a May-day all systems go meeting agreed that their septuagenarian and beauty queen ticket is loosing the contest as fast as a whirlwind going through California wilderness and decided that the bleeding must stop! They sent out an SOS order to pull all the stops and if it means belabouring the American people with what they already knew or been inundated with, so be it! Since they do not have anything to run with they decided to run with the only thing they think they have - S M E A R ! The Republican Party are throwing the mud hoping something sticks but they have short memory otherwise they would have realized that the Clintons threw even slabs of concrete but teflon Obama brushed it off. This election is a referendum on America and her people for objectivity and not pettiness of skin pigmentation. If America passes this test, Barack Obama is the next president, if not then welcome the worst despair, frustration, doom and gloom ever witnessed in this our great nation! Whatever happens, Barrack Obama will be fine! Joe Biden will be fine! Most of their donors will be fine but the American people will not and so will not the world if the result did not reflect the trends. America will further be isolated as a country of lunatics who cannot get their act together to enthrone a vision for the future! So America ask yourself, do you want doom and gloom or do you want hope and change. Whatever you do, please do not be a participant or an accomplice to murder of hope and change we can belivev in; so be smart with your vote! Enough of these distraction! In a letter addressed to his fellow dumb-Republicans, the Executive Director of the PAC, one Scott Wheeler commenced with this acerbic lines, "Never before in the history of our nation have we faced such a grave crisis: one of the most radical political figures ever to be nominated by a major party is just minutes away from becoming President of the United States". Continuing he wrote, "He promises to change America forever. If elected, he will do just that — but in ways you may not like. Remember Obama is the most liberal member of the United States Senate. If you look at Obama’s record, you will understand just how dangerous this man is. He even has terrorist friends he won’t denounce. One such man is William Ayers, a leader in the radical terrorist group the Weatherman Underground. Obama has even been endorsed by radicals such as Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan. No one can deny hearing about Obama’s relationship with the America-hating Rev. Jeremiah Wright. There should be little doubt that William Ayers and Louis Farrakhan and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright are rooting for Obama — because he is one of them. In keeping with such friends, Obama has promised to meet with radical leaders like Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without “preconditions” even though Ahmadinejad has promised to “wipe Israel off the map” and “destroy” America. Even radical Hamas terrorists have praised him. saying through one leader Ahmed Yousef that “we like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election”! (To which Icheoku says, but who doesn't?)

"And then there are Obama’s dangerous economic plans for America". (To which Icheoku says no economic plan can ever be more dangerous than the failed George Bush eight years economic catastrophy and that Senator John McCain promises more of the same if not worst economic doldrums and that the Alaskan wild-eyed Sarah will facilitate America's dive into this economic tundra! The raving lunatic Sarah Palin is so empty that it took her six trials just to obtain a bachelors degree, going through six colleges in the process!

"He wants to increase taxes. He is so radical he even backed driver’s licenses for illegal aliens — even though such a move would help future terrorists move freely in the United States. (Icheoku says every voting Mexicans should be queuing up en-masse to vote smart and reject such calamitous branding since they are usually the target). He is the most pro-abortion candidate in the history of the country. He opposes gun rights. He has long history of trying to deny ordinary citizens access to guns. Never forget that Obama is a Harvard educated elitist". (To this Icheoku asks when has excelling in life become an albatross? When did being dumb make a person more qualified for the presidency or is George Bush not enough embarrassment already? )

"Hillary Clinton was late in recognizing the threat Obama posed to her campaign, but once she did, her strategy worked". (In rebuttal Icheoku says that this allusion was simply a race-baiting strategy which failed and is again being tried by a campaign fast sinking in a quick-sand.)

"But in large contested states Clinton won almost every time. Why? Because when Democrats heard what Obama really stood for, they turned on him" (To which Icheoku says, not really - what happened was that people's worst part were invoked by some of the tacticians of the Hillary Clinton's campaign but at last where is that campaign today but in the land of also ran? It is called racism!)

"Make no mistake about it: If we let Americans know the truth about Obama, John McCain can win this election! (Gladly Icheoku says it is a respite that these racist bunch are the ones who are fighting for their dear political life and deploying all the dumb-bombs already tried by the failed Clintons without honing into any meaningful target because of faulty coordinates. These racists mongrels should understand that America is not stagnant but very dynamic and that we as a people has since moved so much into the future and not stuck foolishly where they thought we were and that we are prepared to accept a meaningful change we can believe in even from a person of color!
Lastly, Scott Wheeler concluded his letter with "this is why the National Republican Trust Political Action Committee is moving to implement a "shock and awe” strategy against Obama"

OJ SIMPSON - THEY FINALLY GOT HIM!

Orephtal James Simpson 61 was found guilty Friday October 3, 2008 of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room! Sentencing scheduled for December 5, 2008 could get him life behind bars. The previously famous Hall of Fame Football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for gathering up five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. According to the prosecution, two of his accomplices were armed and one of them alleged that Simpson asked him to bring a gun. The verdict came 13 years to the day Simpson was acquitted in the alleged murdering of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her paramour Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles. According to OJ Simpson's defense attorney, the police officers in this case saw his present arrest as an opportunity to "get" him and avenge his acquittal to which Icheoku concurs.

According to the prosecutors, Simpson's ownership of the memorabilia was irrelevant since it was still a crime to try to take things by force. To this Icheoku rebuts and states that ownership is crucial as that intent to retrieve something belonging to him rather than rob another of his property should defeat the charge of armed robbery. OJ Simpson went into the hotel room not to rob anyone but to retrieve what he reasonably believed was his property. The imperative controlling intent heretofore is that which preceded the entry into the hotel room. The primary question here should have been, did OJ go into the room to retrieve his item or did he set out to rob someone of his thing?

Some other questions implicated in this case include: -the role of the Memorabilia dealer Thomas Riccio, who arranged and secretly recorded the hotel-room confrontation, said he netted $210,000 from the media for the tapes. Also, so soon after the Sept. 13, 2007, incident, one of the alleged victims, sports-memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley, was calling news outlets, and the other, Bruce Fromong, spoke of getting "big money" from the case. Finally some investigating Las Vegas police officers were heard in a recording chuckling over Simpson's misfortune and crowing that if Los Angeles couldn't "get" him, they would.

According to defense attorney Yale Galanter, being stupid and being frustrated is not being a criminal and Icheoku also agrees with this learned thought. Continuing, the learned counsel said, this case has taken on a life of its own because of Mr. Simpson's involvement. Every cooperator, every person who had a gun, every person who had an ulterior motive, every person who signed a book deal, every person who got paid money, the police, the district attorney's office, is only interested in one thing: Mr. Simpson." A motion to admit bail pending post judgment proceedings was denied by presiding Judge Jackie Glass who also refused to give the lawyers extended time to file a motion for new trial, which under Nevada law must be filed within seven days. The attorneys said they needed time to submit a voluminous record.

Icheoku says, such a day as this recalls nostalgically the legal prowess of Johnnie Cochran who would have made a mince meat of the prosecution in this case. The evidence does not weightily support the verdict. At least there was no legal armed robbery! Also the defense decision to proceed with the trial before a female judge was a mistake. A female judge no matter her level of impartiality will always have behind her mind the infamous murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman for which majority of Americans were very sympathetic. After-all we are all humans before our various vocations and callings so to pretend otherwise will be foolhardy! Lastly, some available evidence of prosecution's motive, especially the spoken words of the investigating police to the effect that if Los Angeles could not get him, they will in Las Vegas; the set-up and all the money made from the incident is highly suggestive of entrapment. Why these issues were not vigorously pursued is not known to Icheoku at the present time and if it means appealing to the highest court in the land, so be it, provided justice was seen to be done!

However OJ Simpson seemed to have chaperoned his present fate. OJ seems to have serious aversion for black people and would rather entrust his fate totally in the hands of white defense counsel, white prosecution, white "victims", white witnesses, all white jurors and a white judge. Who was left there to get your back, OJ? OJ Simpson married a white bimbo who he allegedly murdered but whose death he was found not guilty of. OJ Simpson is currently dating another white blonde. Now he has been convicted of all twelve counts charge and will likely be spending his golden years behind bars. Even his engaging Johnnie Cochran during the Nicole murder trial was an after-thought as OJ had retained Attorney Shapiro prior, who was pushing him to accept a plea deal before Johnnie extricated him from the jaws of the Law. OJ, Icheoku will like to ask you, what do you regret most now? Is it your abandoning your black-folks because of your success or your decision not to learn from history that you are a marked man? Many a reasonable person would have gone into a monastery, so to speak, or disappeared from sight after your ordeals and the out-cry which followed. Even Michael Jackson after his child-molestations acquittal, disappeared to a Middle Eastern Emirate until passion cooled down and since his return has kept low. But that is not for you as you are OJ Simpson - the Juice! Where has your debauchery led you today? Your fate is such a tragic one that you make the ancient Greeks green with envy - they are not alone! However since what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, have we seen the final process in this case or is the defense prepared to pursue justice up to Washington DC? So Now What? Good-luck, Mr. Tragic Fate!

IT IS STILL 1950 IN RACIST FLORIDA ?

The State of Florida is once again in the news as one of those states in the deep south which is finding it very difficult to shake off its racist past. Few months ago, a Floridian man was arrested and charged for threatening harm on presidential candidate Barack Obama: - a timothy mcveigh like home-grown terrorist ; today it is the turn of another racist red-necked bigot, "Monster" Gregory Howard a classroom teacher who has been teaching his students bigotry.

This hate-filled "teacher" Gregory Howard, who's been teaching in the district for 17 years, wrote on his classroom's black-board (chalk-board) his warped understanding of the meaning of the campaign slogan of Senator Barack Obama, CHANGE! According to this nincompoop CHANGE means "come help a nigger get elected'! The school authority gave him a slap on the wrist by suspending him for merely ten days. This action is highly suggestive that the board is populated by like-minded individuals as Gregory Howard otherwise why just a cautionary penalty? It would appear that this board membership share the same sentiment as expressed by this evil urchin, Gregory Howard. Could it be this widely-spread type of mindset that is accelerating racism in the south? Could it be the reason why racism still thrives very much in the deep south to this date? These are the type of people Senator John McCain hopes on, to get into the White-house despite being more of the same as George Bush. Some zealots whose only hope of surviving is to race-bait. To these munchkins, Icheoku says, is it all that matters to your sorry asses that you are white-skinned and hence has earned the right to preach and indoctrinate hate in our children, our future? These are the same brand of "bastards" who would rather sink with a race-themed boat than to stay afloat safely in a boat being paddled by a person of color. If this is not the lowest denominator of crass hatred, nothing else so qualifies. Why this monster was not fired is beyond our comprehension at Icheoku, but sure it does leave some questions unanswered as where Florida is today regarding race relations in the country. However, hate it or love it, the wind of change is real and those literate enough to understand it are firm believers that the White-house will have a different occupant this time around.

According to the story, the Florida middle school teacher in Marianna Florida has been suspended after students said he used a racial epithet directed at presidential candidate Barack Obama. Seventh-grade social studies teacher Greg Howard reportedly wrote the word CHANGE as an acronym for "Can (You) Help A Nigger Get Elected" and "Come Help A Nigger Get Elected."

The incident happened last Friday September 26, 2008 at Marianna Middle School. The Jackson County School Board which has authority over this school, said Thursday that Racist Gregory Howard has been suspended without pay for 10 days and will be transferred to the Jackson County Adult Education program. He is also required to submit a letter of apology to his students and attend diversity and sensitivity training. Marianna is near Florida's border both with Alabama and Georgia.

Icheoku condemns in term most strongest, the misbehavior of this petty white supremacist red-neck, Monster Gregory Howard. His likes are not deserving of this modern day America and all the progress recorded over the years especially in the area of race relations. Further, Monster Gregory Howard deserves a place in the infamous Hall of Shame! The school district in Jackson County Florida, which has jurisdiction over the Marianna school which was used as a platform for this hate speech, appears to be an accomplice to this hateful propagation of an idea whose time has since gone. By not out-rightly firing this mind corrupter, whose acidity is poisoning our greater tomorrows - the future of this country, this school district has shown bias. There is no explanation for this racist misbehavior and Jackson county must disassociate itself from this affront by severing whatever ties that may be still left between them and this racist monster!

This election is a verdict on the past eight years of George Walker Bush failed policies and anything short of a total complete rejection of this failed policies in the polls will be a disservice to the American people as well as the world at large.

George Bush is a failure and so is Senator John McCain! Senator John McCain is George Bush's other half and has voted and sided with George Bush more than 95% of the time; Senator John McCain has poured praises on George Bush repeatedly and above all is a master tactician anti-regulation czar whose "deregulate everything" policies has led to the financial disaster facing us as a nation. Imagine the price we are being asked to pay - a whopping $700billion dollars, all for the faulty judgments of Senator John McCain and co-travellers in the land of deregulation! Enough is enough! America can do better! Tell the world by your vote that in America we still have some decent people; that the George "Bushes" are very few and Senator John McCain is one of them hence we reject his candidacy for president. Fool me once, shame on you; but fool me twice shame on me! America we are no fools and Senator John McCain must not be allowed to get away with his attempted hoodwinking of the American people. He is now everything to everybody just to win an election which shows that he lacks a central core! John McCain is not good for you! He will deregulate medical insurance and what we are seeing in Wall Street will visit the health care industry!

Icheoku says Senator John McCain should withdraw from this election, citing George Bush'S failed policies, which are irrefutable as the reason for his decision. We at Icheoku believes that this is the right thing to do and will provide a safe-guard for his soft-landing this November 4th 2008. However, should he stubbornly chose to truck on as all clear, then he will be the butt of this blog as well as millions others that will continually hound him until he does the right thing - Senator John McCain, thrown in the towel! It is an election you cannot win! The odds are infinite! This way, Senator John McCain can regain his almost-completely erased maverick status. NIGERIAN ELDER STATESMAN CHIEF CC ONOH SPEAKS!

The father of Enugu State and the man who led the effort to make that state a reality has spoken! Elder statesman and former Governor of old Anambra State, Chief (Dr) Christian Chukwuma Onoh, Aninefungwu 1 and Okaa Omee of Ngwo, Enugu State blamed the numerous problems facing Nigeria today on an existing structural imbalance in her 48 years of existence.

Chief CC Onoh who was speaking on the occasion of Nigeria's 48th Independence anniversary remarked that not only did the British unwillingly grant Nigeria Independence in 1960, it went on to rig the 1962 election to produce a Northerner as Prime Minister, whereas the Sardauna of Sokoto Ahmadu Bello, leader of the North then, never wanted one Nigeria!

The Sardauna's position, the 80 year Octogenarian said, was contrary to the vision of one Nigeria promoted by other founding fathers, including Nnamdi Azikiwe and Obafemi Awolowo, of blessed memories. Chief CC Onoh, who blamed the structural imbalance in Nigeria on Northern domination of power, spoke to a correspondent at his country home in Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria.

Chief CC Onoh recalled that, "three parties emerged then - namely the west's party Action Group (AG) led by Chief Obafemi Awolowo with slogan of 'More Abundant', the north's party Northern Peoples Congress (NPC) led by Sardauna of Sokoto Ahmadu Bello with slogan of 'One North, One People, One Destiny' and the east's party National Council for Nigeria and Cameroons (NCNC) led by Dr Nnamdi Azikwe, later National Council for Nigerian Citizens) with the slogan OF 'One Nigeria'.

According to Chief CC Onoh, it is obvious from the northern slogan that the Sardauna never believed in one Nigeria, but in 'One North, One People, One Destiny'. The British was forced to grant Independence to Nigeria and Zik also said that we got Independence on a platter of gold. No sooner we got the Independence in 1960 than trouble started in the North in 1962, and 'Operation wetie' between Awolowo and Akintola that prompted the re-alignment of political parties. Continuing Chief CC Onoh said, we must remember that Sardauna said that if for any reason the British go, the North will continue their uninterrupted conquest to the sea. The British prepared the way for them and they rigged the election. And when you talk about election rigging today, it is the African perfecting what the British taught him. They (British) rigged the election to ensure that the North produced the Prime Minister. They rigged the election because they did not trust Zik and Awolowo. It was as a result of the trouble in the West that got two political incompatibles to unite, Zik, Okpara and Ademola or so. With this, the British were hoping to come back and this led to the 1966 coup. At the heat of the coup, Gowon said that the basis for unity of the country does not exist. Since then, 48 years after, the Igbo have been at the receiving end," Onoh said.

According to Chief CC Onoh, since the murder of Aguiyi-Ironsi, no Igbo man has tasted power, while the military oligarchy from the North that held onto power over the years made sure they favoured their area more than other sections of the country on issues like state and local government creations that formed the basis for revenue allocations. Chief CC Onoh said that before oil was discovered in Nigeria, the North insisted on 50 per cent derivation, all targeted against a section of the country and through the back door, with the creation of local governments by the military and revenue allocation formula, carted away everything.

Continuing Chief CC Onoh said that when oil was discovered in Oloibiri Rivers State, Shell BP and the North conspired to change the horse in the middle of the stream. They slashed the hitherto 50% derivation and introduced a new 33.3 per cent derivation and by the time former military head of state Sani Abacha died, it went down to as little as 1.5 per cent derivation.

On the possibility of the proposed constitution review by the National Assembly to address these issues, he said the legislators lack the credibility to embark on the exercise, having all emerged through the most fraudulent elections in Nigeria. Chief CC Onoh advocated the use of a plebiscite in producing a new constitution for Nigeria; Chief CC Onoh also described the newly created Niger Delta Ministry as a mere palliative that cannot solve the problems of the region.

NIGERIA AT 48:- ANYTHING WORTH CELEBRATING?

Today October 1st 2008 marks the forty eight anniversary of Nigeria's Independence from Britain. At forty-eight years, one would like to ask, is there anything really worthy of celebration by Nigerians? To which Icheoku says in response, except the plague of useless and unpatriotic "leaders" who have never inspired anyone nor endeavored to inscribe their names in the marble of good government. A crop of leadership who has repeatedly and respectively looted the country dry and helped in driving it further aground. These people are the albatross suffocating and choking Nigeria since her coming into being in 1960. From October 1st 1960 till date, Nigeria has never had a leader strictly so called!

On the occasion of this 48th Independence anniversary celebration, Icheoku calls on all Nigerians to spend their day, meditating on how best a good responsible government can be established and enthroned in Nigeria - and this by extension, means allowing a true leadership to merge through a free and fair elections. Moshood Kasinmawo Olawale Abiola's 1983 election showed that such a people's oriented leadership can evolve once a conducive environment is enabled for it to emerge. But it will not be easy as the cabals enjoying the loots of state will not midwife such!

Like the Orange Revolutions that swept through Eastern Europe few years ago and most recently the Musharraf Must Go Revolution in Pakistan, Nigerians should start seriously considering their version of a revolution - possibly a Green Revolution to demand for a real government of the people, by the people and for the people of Nigeria! A determined non violent mass movement have succeeded in other parts of the world and nothing stops it from succeeding in Nigeria once the people seriously desire it. A true leadership based government is the only thing that will turn around the fortunes of Nigeria and then and only then could there be something to truly celebrate on an occasion of her independence anniversary!

Icheoku asks, what is working at the moment? For instance, it is an unofficial state policy of successive Nigerian governments that a dilapidated bridge over River Niger should not be rebuilt because it will benefit the Igbo and one wonders are the Igbo not part of Nigeria or what? Further that Oji River power station should not be revived because it is situated in Igboland and one also wonders out loud, is Igboland in Cameroon or on Mars? If Igboland is no longer needed in Nigeria, let the powers that be let the people go. They did it with Bakassi which they freely gave away to Cameroon, so why not Igboland? As for the supposed Igbo "leaders" in Abuja, what other thing or sign are you waiting to happen before you start to shout on roof-tops that your people are being systematically forced out of Nigeria through blatant marginalization! Your silence is ominous and can only be interpreted one way and one way only - that you have a price and has been bought! Should the Niger Bridge collapse on or before December, how will you explain that to the millions of Igbo people who will be heading home for Christmas that their only means across to their part of the country where they are still truly welcomed, is a non existent boats/ferry services upon the River Niger; knowing fully well that not all of them can afford the prohibitive cost of air travel/flying in Nigeria?

Throughout the rest of the country including the tacitly-excluded Igboland, the condition of roads, water, schools, transportation, energy, economy, security, corruption, health-care and practically all that makes modern life livable are in dire depravity; and this is 48 years after Nigeria's independence from the then Great Britain! It is quite disheartening and this is not for lack of capable can-do heads and hands; no it is as a result of unyielding mediocrity of some self appointed cabals in the body polity of Nigeria who will not tolerate those that have the know-how and real patriotism to move Nigeria forward. How can these same people who have been blooding Nigeria up since her Independence continually be tolerated and enabled to recycle themselves every-time, each time into the power in Nigeria? They have failed the country; because they lack the know-how and are not patriotic enough to desire a better Nigeria. But why should they since they would rather jet out to countries in Europe or the Middle East or South Africa at the slightest feel of malaria or a joint dislocation or ordinary dialysis instead of developing medical facilities in Nigeria? They have the means and capacity, partly due to the looting they have done on the treasury over the years but do they care about the millions of other less opportune Nigerians who do not even have a passport because they cannot afford them? The only solution that makes sense is that these bunch of marauders must be showed the exit before Nigeria can wake up from its stupor and state of malaise. One popular aphorism says that doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is the best definition of lunacy.

Nigeria cannot achieve greatness with the present bunch of criminal mediocre striding her since 1960. They do not know; they do not know that they do not know and that makes them a bunch of fools. Nigeria needs a total and complete rebirth for it to be able to lift itself up from a near abject want of everything to a place where people can thrive! Nigeria must move forward and the only means of bringing about this desired goal is a total overhaul of the polity. That is what a truly independent country does and until then, Icheoku says, today is just another October 1st!
