ICHEOKU says he is only human in flesh and blood and not a superhuman and at 80 years old, is ordinarily supposed to be a in nursing home not at the NIAID making decisions about Americans microbic wellbeing. Although he still looks great for an octogenarian, but any other person in any other profession would have since retired. So why not him or has he become so indispensable with America's virology that America cannot do without him.
From all indications, especially through this hellish coronavirus, it is discernible that the law of diminishing returns have set in with Dr Fauci. His best days of making sound decisions about America's infectious health are obviously over and anything going forward is but an egotistic second best act. The doctor was great while it lasted, but after serving under six presidents, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama and now Trump, it is time for another person to take over the steering wheel at the NIAID. Dr Fauci is apparently on the decline and no longer his former self as he has for the most part, not got any of his predictions right since the outbreak of the Chinese Wuhan coronavirus disease. So, why should Americans still be listening to what he has to say about the coronavirus as the oracle of pandemics.
ICHEOKU has nothing against Dr Fauci, only that his days are since past and it is time to try a new head and not continue to rely on one steeped in the old ways and pattern of doing things since 1984. A child born when Dr Fauci started directing the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases is now a fully grown man with family, yet Dr Fauci is still at his desk? So, what will it take for him to retire or has more than 82,000 coronavirus killed dead Americans, largely in part because of his wrongly analyzed coronavirus response, not enough deficit already to quicken his exit from the NIAID and every other advisory positions he occupies in the government, including the Coronavirus Presidential Task Force. It is about time Americans face the reality of Dr Fauci's eventual mortality and learn to reorder their lives and preparedness against viral diseases away from his leadership.
Dr Fauci did his best during his heydays but he is no longer on top of his game; not since after all the wrong projections he made during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has made America more vulnerable today than it was three months ago. A lot of infections, a lot of deaths and the economy has completely collapsed, all because the government was following his advise. If he could get nearly everything wrong as it turned out he did, what then is the point still having him around and listening to what else he has to say about a novel disease which everybody's learning curve is nearly about the same. ICHEOKU says it is time to let Dr Anthony Stephen Fauci retire and go enjoy his sunset years in peace. It is either he goes or he should be forced out. Even the best army general usually retires someday, so why not Dr Fauci. He came, he saw and he used to conquer, but not any more. An 80 year old man deserves a well earned retirement.
