It is going to happen! Tuesday November 4th, 2008 is almost here - just three weeks away for us to make history together as a great nation or forever continue to wallow in the quagmire of racial divisions which has tainted our image over the years. This election is an opportunity to wash away all that was wrong and horrible; it is an opportunity to become a new nation which has since moved on from its intolerance of the past several centuries. Icheoku is not saying that everything will become honky-dory but that it is a great step in the right direction which will heal so many broken souls. You can never know what a man is going through until you are able to walk a mile in his shoes. All indices are favorable that the anticipated outcome will materialise but we must do right by participating in bringing it about. A vote for Senator Barack Obama is what Americans should do on November 4th, 2008 - this will be the magic bullet to kill off a lot of negatives which had existed and is still existing both here at home and abroad. America needs a rebirth and Barack Obama will do it! America needs forgiveness of sins of the past and no better way to achieve this than for the symbol of what was formerly considered less human to be elected to the highest office in the land. The good news however is that this very symbol is eminently qualified and brilliant; he is also very inspiring and every inch presidential! America, we can do it and this time it should be for real. The polls are looking good; the money is looking good; the debates are looking good! the campaigns are stellar! So all the conditions for the seed to germinate are present so grow, the crop must. It is on record that she had fallen out with the governor of her native Akwa Ibiom State and have been having a relentless war for political turf with the governor? So who knows whether she was sacrificed to Ekpe cult or even Alusi-Okija as an offal; afterall African science is still very much alive and portent. May her soul rest in peace.
