Icheoku says very eminent personalities from all walks of life attended the conference, deliberated extensively and then arrived at certain implementable decisions which will help move Nigeria forward. So anyone trying to sabotage this effort by threatening not to implement the report cannot be said to have the interest of Nigeria at heart and therefore must be rejected. It is of general knowledge that the man who owns and operates APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his minion-APC governors, did not even want the conference to hold and somewhat boycotted the conference. So it naturally follows that the same anti-conference personalities as populate the APC, cannot now be seen to suddenly turn friendly towards implementing the far-reaching decisions of the same conference which they tried so hard to frustrate and sabotage. It does not make sense and it is illogical that the APC would implement the report which they wanted to abort its conception and therefore must not be allowed to kill it by electing them.
Nigerians should know that there is no way the APC which wanted the conference aborted and which went as far as boycotting same, would ever implement its report. Therefore any Nigerian who desires to see the CONFAB report implemented, in order to right the wrongs of the past and make better the path of Nigeria's present off-course direction, must do the needful; by electing the man whose baby the conference is and who would gladly nurture it by fully implementing its report, there will be a guaranteed outcome. One thing Icheoku is certain about is that the implementation of the National Conference Report is on the ballot in this election. The National Conference and decisions therein reached are very important to the continued existence of Nigeria as one entity; hence its implementation is held so very dear to the hearts of millions of descent, peace-loving and real progressive Nigerians, who desire to see a better Nigeria come to fruition. Therefore it is not a "cheap blackmail" as the APC's Lai Mohammed would like to beguile some gullible Nigerians, to desire or crave or clamor for the full implementation of the National Conference Report.
Icheoku is emphatic that so many Nigerians, including Yoruba Southwest Nigerians, are deeply troubled by the position and stand taken by the APC not to implement the report of the National Conference and would vote against the APC's position by voting PDP to authorize the implementation of the report. Millions of Nigerians who want to see a reorganized and repositioned Nigeria that works for everyone and not just a few cabal, see the National Conference as a ticket to achieving this. Therefore any political party, including the APC, that is standing on the way of implementing the report will be swept away by the denudation that is Nigerians forthcoming overwhelming vote to have the report implemented. Or which sane Nigerian does not want to see a more functional Nigeria that works for everyone? Icheoku says since it is now obvious and beyond every shadow of doubt that the APC is against the National Conference and will not implement its report, it makes better sense that Nigerians vote for the party that will implement the report - the PDP. So on MARCH 28, VOTE to have the National Conference Report implemented, VOTE GEJ.
