Would he have adamantly stuck to his gun thereby further demeaning and damaging the people of South Carolina; portraying them as a very disrespectful people who sent one of their very own 'reflection' to Washington DC as their ambassador? MDS (Leukaemia) was diagnosed, his insurance company was contacted to pony up for his treatment but they dropped the ball on him; they denied him coverage and ultimately dropped his coverage! The rest is now history as the young father of two died shortly afterwards; however after friends and family had rallied around to see him through a bone marrow transfer operation and subsequent chemotherapy and radiation courses. Christy 'Apena' Essien-Igbokwe , the wife of Jegede Shokoya of the New Masquerade and Nigeria's lady of songs is dead; she was 51years old.
