South African music legend, "Mama Africa" Miriam Makeba is dead. She died of heart attack in Caserta, Italy following a concert. Mama Africa was just 76 years young. Miriam Makeba was born in 1932 in Johannesburg, South Africa and died in 2008 in Caserta, Italy. Icheokudotcom says, singing bird continue to provide entertainment to all African freedom fighters that have since departed, in the world beyond. We shall miss your crooning! Adieu!

MIRIAM MAKEBA IS NO MORE!

Christy 'Apena' Essien-Igbokwe , the wife of Jegede Shokoya of the New Masquerade and Nigeria's lady of songs is dead; she was 51years old.
