ICHEOKU says they did not dare do it during the presidency of President Donald John Trump because they were afraid of his unpredictability and that such a military putsch could make him livid with anger and resulting to serious consequences. But with the feared big dog now out of the White House and the less feared smaller sickly dog now in the White House, it seems that nobody cares nor respects or fears America anymore, the reason they struck.
The military coup in Myanmar is now officially the first serious foreign policy challenge to the Joe Biden's administration and who knows how he is going to handle it, admitted ICHEOKU has no confidence of any real wielding of the big stick against the military juntas in Myanmar by the administration. Whatever happens, it appears that they first weighed Joe Biden really well before they struck otherwise they would not have.
The military coup in Myanmar is a big blow to the budding democracy in the Asian country, especially following so soon after the other blow dealt to democracy in America where votes were not honestly counted and election results were not honestly tabulated. It is sad that a supposedly best form of government is facing these numerous challenges in this 21st century. It begs the question, how will the Myanmar military even react to any attempt by the Joe Biden's administration to reach out to them; will they listen or will they refer to the schematics which brought Joe Biden into power and tell America to first remove the log in their eyes before complaining about the spec in other country's eyes. Will Joe Biden have the moral authority to preach democracy to Myanmar when America's democracy is under attack and the American military was used to install Joe Biden into office as opposed to the age long American people's inauguration of their president.
These issues will continue to hound the Joe Biden's administration until the raised concerns about the November 3rd 2020 presidential election are thoroughly investigated and satisfactorily resolved. 75 million MAGA voters are still dubious that Joe Biden won the election and this black mark on his legitimacy has not gone away nor will it ever go away until the end of times. Since he who seeks equity must do so with clean hands, the other question remains does Joe Biden have the clean hands necessary to demand or ask Myanmar to restore the democratically elected Aung San Suui Kai back to power. Only time will tell and we shall see but their response will depend on how weak they perceive the administration and whether Joe Biden will have what it takes to back his words with action. It is sad.
