SAVE AMERICA FROM FREE FALLING: REINTRODUCE MILITARY DRAFT.

ICHEOKU says it always befuddles me when the liberal far left disparages and/or questions the patriotism of the military. Military of volunteers who are prepared to die for the country and you ask yourself how else can any person be patriotic than willing to lay down their life for a country they love so dearly. How can any rational human being, no matter their politics or philosophy, accuse the men and women in uniform of hating their country such that they are going to destroy the same country which they swore to die, defending. 

But unfortunately these people do not know what it takes to serve one's country, the reason they recklessly run their mouth too often in such condescending manner in condemnation of real people who indeed actually served and protected the country and are still doing so till date and selflessly. 

These ingrates' latest theatrics is urging a purge of the military to get rid of service men and women who they consider of having possible ties to "domestic terrorist" groups. Meanwhile there is no stipulation or existing black and white lettered law on who a domestic terrorist is and how they will go about making this weeding. These are real men and women whose patriotism have been tested and tried; some of who took various daring risks, some jumping off from airplanes in the middle of the night and mounting improbable raids which to an untrained mind is the stuff only envisaged in movies. These are the people now being targeted as "domestic terrorists" simply because the value they placed on their country is somewhat different from those who would rather stand aside and watch the country go into ruins. 

So many of these people who badmouth the military do not even have international passports to have traveled anywhere outside America to in fact see the conditions people live in; the reason the military always risks it all to ensure that they are never deprived to the extent that their lives become comparable to what obtains in some places overseas. They also have little knowledge about the conditions in which the military execute their assigned foreign missions and what it actually takes to keep America great. They should have been pitied except that they come off as knowledgeable of facts which they know little about and should instead earn our general scorn. These people who attack or question members of the military are the worst human debris walking the grounds in America as their action is driving a bad sword of disunity in the body fabric of the military whose cohesion is necessary to remain the fighting force of reckon. 

ICHEOKU says the solution is to restore discipline in America by mandating every eligible American boy and girl to enlist in the military and give at least four years of service to the fatherland. This will help change their perception of the military and motivate their appreciation of what the military do to make their lives livable. But as long as these leftist spoilt carefree  Americans are allowed to live their life of privilege without service or sacrifice, where everything is readily made available to them, without a need for them to fight for their lives, including the opportunity to go to school through a GI bill, that long will their primary concern remain sex, alcohol and drug without any serious sense of duty to their fatherland. And because they don't know any better, they will continue to spend their energy casting aspersion on the military and by extension rev their attacks on other security outfits, including their infantile defund the police madness. 

It is strange but true that some of these Americans who do not even know how the steak makes it to the grocery store or how cheese comes about and who have a very skewed strange world view which they desire to apply to America, constitute majority of these anti military loudmouths. They cannot even keep and maintain their often times chosen lifestyle of sex, alcohol and drugs without the sacrifices of these men and women in uniform who they now want to brand "domestic terrorists" and punish simply for being fervent with their love for country. What a bunch of ungrateful louts they are. 

The panacea is to reintroduce the draft in military recruitment and help imbibe needed discipline in these people. Such will also help reduce the penchant for Washington DC to dispatch the military to every hot flashpoint in the world without a care about the hurt it exacts on families and friends of dead and wounded warriors. But if their own children and wards are part of the military which a draft will ensure, they will think twice before sending their fellow Americans into harm's way. #ReinventThem.
