GUN VIOLENCE IN AMERICA: FOR WHO THE BELL TOLLS NEXT.

Just five people shy of Sandy Hook elementary school mass shooting incident that claimed 26 lives, the Uvalde Texas Robb elementary school mass shooting at 21 victims, now ranks among the highest grossing gun carnage in America. It is sad that such frequent blood spilling has tragically become part of our culture as a society. May the souls of the killed now rest.

Does anyone know what Madam Speaker presently thinks about the incontrovertible case which America is now saddled with? Just curious!

GEORGE FLOYD: A QUEST FOR A BLACK MESSIAH?

ICHEOKU says was he the savior black people have been waiting for and by whose death their salvation from racism will finally come. He was not their Moses as black people do not want to move back to Africa, they only want to be treated equally with their white counterparts. So, was he foretold by Martin Luther King as he who was to come; and between him and Martin Luther King, which of them is greater and meant more for black people in America? Was Martin Luther King his forerunner just as John the Baptist was to Jesus?

Like Jesus, he was a commoner in life but in death became a prince and huger than anyone could have ever contemplated and imagined. But unlike Jesus, he got a funeral befitting a prince and was mourned globally by a diverse people from different backgrounds, race and religion. His name is now etched in peoples minds. He was buried in a golden casket, driven in a luxury hearse and taken to his final resting place on a horse drawn carriage. His life was celebrated richly. But he has been dead for more than three days and that destroyed whatever claim to the same status as Jesus, admitted the significance of his death to black people, assuming the desire of Black Lives Matter is achieved, will suffice to qualify him as a Messiah in the true sense of the word and of course, for black people.

Yes indeed, if by George Floyd's death racism ends in America, then he would have saved black people and thus rightly earned the title. But it is too early to be hopeful, admitted nothing is likely to change beyond the cosmetic outbursts of support and feigned understanding of the plight of black people by some politicians, such as Mitt Romney, who are seeking to milk the sorrow for their own political gain among black voters.

But why was George Floyd's death so riveting, afterall he was not the first black person to be killed by the police, neither was he the first black man to be publicly strangled to death by the police. Could it be because his own strangulation took a long time to accomplish and as he lay dying, uttered so many words which impacted different people in so many different ways. Could his cry for his mother for help have touched mothers everywhere in a special way that could relate to him as their own child crying for help. Even female animals with young ones act so protectively around them and George Floyd knew that his mother would have risked it all to rescue him, the reason he did not call his father or brothers and sisters.

ICHEOKU says nothing is more sacred to mothers than the product of their wombs and mother bears are known to have killed people who wander too close to their cubs; ditto many other wild animals. Imagine what George Floyd's mother would have done to the killer cop Derek Cauvin,  were she within earshot of her son cry for help and seeing the policeman trying to suffocate her son to death. ICHEOKU believes she would have charged and bum-rushed officer Derek off her son's neck even at a great risk to her personal safety, including the possibility of being shot or arrested for assaulting a police officer. It comes to them naturally, the maternal instinct; and it does not matter the specie as motherhood is expressed by all mothers the same way, protectively. Mothers love the product of their children and nothing ever comes between them and their children, not even the man who impregnated them with those children.

But unfortunately, George Floyd's cry for help to his mother could not be heard from her grave, hence he couldn't be saved. By dying he achieved fame and has become world famous, his name permanently etched in history. His name was heard and mentioned globally; Senators and members of Congress and even a country's leader knelt in honor.  He will now live forever as a legend for the cause, but will his death bring about desired changes or even end racism in America?

Will he be soon forgotten, swept away under the rug of society like the many others before him now that he is deep six and no longer "threatening" or "intimidating" to anybody? Will society just move on to the challenges of living and away from the tragedy that was his murder in Minneapolis. Just as Jesus by dying purchased forgiveness of sin for mankind, will George by dying, purchase equality, respect and dignity to black people in America and in a some way put an end to racism.

ICHEOKU says is not optimistic because what drives the hatred of others is deeper than all the patronizing sanctimonies and public displays of the past several days. Racism is not just about the police killing black people, it is much broader than that and cuts through society's entire body fabric. The question remains how his death will change anything in America. Will white people now begin to move to black neighborhoods because George Floyd was murdered?

Will white people now freely share the same space with black people? Will white people now employ black people in their companies and businesses? Will white people now attend black churches? Will white people now send their children to black schools, colleges and universities? Will white people who control Wall Street now open it up and allow black people to share in their pots of gold? Will white people ever elect another black president? Will white people now freely mingle with black people?

Will black people now head security agencies including any of the three branches of the armed forces, admitted that President Donald John Trump just broke the record by appointing General Edwin Brown as the first Air Force chief. Will black people start getting loans at a fair interest rate? Will black people start getting apartments in any  neighborhood they desire without being told the apartment has been rented an hour ago?

Will black people get mortgage loans as easily as their white counterparts. Will store attendants stop training their eyes on black people as they enter their stores and shops? Will white bimbos stop calling the police on black people for no reason just like the girl with a dog in New York? Will white colleagues at the office or factory stop conspiring against fellow employees who are black and lying against them to get them fired?

Will white parents now freely accept their daughter's date who is black and without reservation offer their blessings should they want to marry each other? Will blacks start being paid equally as their white counterparts? Will black people start being elected governors, senators more regularly? Will white parents allow their children to play freely with black children in parks and permit their sleeping over in black neighborhoods?

Will the judiciary start being fair in handing out sentences to black people? Will the Joe Biden's 1994 Crime Bill which punished white people's cocaine possession differently from black people's crack cocaine possession never again be allowed in America? Will black people ever head the United States Treasury, the Army, the CIA or the FBI? So, what exactly changed or will change because George Floyd was murdered and his funeral celebrated so publicly.

The road ahead to banishing racism in America is long and it is strewn with thongs. The task is also arduous and unrelentingly difficult, if not impossible, will be the effort. Were racism just one thing or an object, it will be very easy to extirpate. But no, it is woven in everything in the American society and ingrained in the subconscious of the white people, many of who usually profess they are not racist but everything they do is racist.

They don't have black friends, they don't live in black neighborhoods, their children don't go to black schools, they don't hire black people, they don't go to black church, they don't attend black events, they don't eat at black restaurants nor black food, they don't wonder why there are no black faces on television or playing a lead role in movies or television characters; they don't have black spouses or children who are colored. But they will still tell you they are not racist simply because they do not mouth off what their heads an hearts are thinking.

With his death George Floyd drew more attention to what is entrenched in the American society, the racial struggle. But before him were Marcus Garvey, Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Rosa Park, Michael Jackson, Prince, Johnny Cochran, who had to hire the protection services of the Nation of Islam just because he successfully defended OJ Simpson and so many others who risked it all. But did their sacrifices result to the dismantling of the structural racism in America, no.

So, until all the racial walls are completely broken down, all the noise and pretentiousness will not a thing solve. Mitt Romney after showing up in the march, will still go back to his whites only exclusive neighborhood. He will still not make any black friend nor invite a black family over for dinner. He will still not give a black person scholarship nor hire them for jobs. Ditto Nancy Pelosi who will still return to her Pacific Heights San Francisco nearly whites only neighborhood. But they are good at putting up a show as the great pretenders they are.

Racism is as old as America and everybody knows about it. Black people have been lynched, killed, dragged to death behind trucks, strangled, shot and are still being killed, so why the George Floyd's special? Everybody knows the game these politicians are playing with black people, believing that black people are too dumb to know any better or that both parties are just using them to maintain their power hold on American people.

The two political parties are technically two sides of the same coin, admitted the Democrats are better at masking their inner intentions. They are riding black people like donkey in order to maintain their hold over them and anyone in doubt should ask yourself why Hillary Clinton did not pick Cory Booker as her vice presidential running mate in 2016, the same reason Joe Biden will not pick a black woman this 2020.

What is in America lasted a long time and it will not just disappear just because George Floyd was murdered. He was not the first to be killed, neither will he be the last as more people have been killed since his death on Memorial Day, admitted their names were not even heard. The murder of Jesus did not make Jews become believers and so ICHEOKU is not expecting anything tangible coming out from George Floyd's death. It is the tragedy of black peoples life in America and their lives do not really matter, the reason they are making the effort to make it matter.

But unfortunately, it is just an effort and like a tidal wave which comes and goes, every incident will always bring the outpouring and sloganeering which evaporates as soon as the victim is buried. George Floyd is now buried, may he now rest. Lets hope that his death somewhat softened the resistance to a fully racially integrated America to make America truly united, admitted the "United" stands for the unity of the States and not the people. Adieu George.

MITT ROMNEY: VERY DUBIOUS, NEVER LIKED BLACK PEOPLE.

ICHEOKU says for a man who is not known for activism, who has no records whatsoever to show for being concerned about society's many injustices, who lives a life of great white privilege, who rode on the back of his ever protective father for most of his growing up years, who belong in the top 1% with an estimated net worth of $200 million, a very wealthy former CEO, former Governor of Massachusetts and now Senator representing the great State of Utah, it is a great testament in duplicitousness for him to now suddenly become an activist.

Mitt Romney has no black friend and has no track record of ever caring for black people or their causes. Mitt Romney has always lived in America and has always been fully aware of the inequities bedeviling America. He never cared to remedy them even as a CEO when he had opportunity to hire black people, but instead kept a binder full of women, none of which was a black woman. Many black people have been killed in the past but Mitt Romney maintained his silence. He never showed concern for causes dear to black people and never said a word about leveling the playing field in America. But suddenly, President Donald John Trump is being harpooned for what he did not do nor caused, and Mitt Romney saw another opportunity to register his disgust at the president. So he marched in a Black Lives Matter protest when he never cared for black lives in the past nor gave a damn about their concerns.

Mitt Romney is a snake who is worse than a serpent and his double faced Janus character is known to all. American people are not fooled by his display as they know that Mitt Romney did not mean but only did it to diss the president. His history of depriving black people and the history of his racist Mormon church walling off black people for too long are in the public domain for the curiously minded to see. His Mormon church or rather cult never allowed black membership nor ordained black ministers until very recently, assuming they now do. He had so many opportunities to improve black lives but black lives never mattered to him, so he did nothing to alleviate their situation. So, why is it now that black lives suddenly matters to Mitt Romney. The only explanation is that he was trying to score cheap political point and with it take a jab the president.

The same Mitt Romney as a vulture capitalist, made millions off the backs of black people; taking over distressed companies, liquidating and consolidating them and selling them off at a profit. Many of the people who worked in these low wages paying companies were black people, but Mitt Romney fired them and shipped whatever remained of their jobs overseas. Mitt Romney did not give a damn then about their black lives but now fools which black person that he suddenly gives a damn or care about them. Black people also saw the smirk on Mitt Romney's face and his condescension during his debate with Obama in the 2012 presidential debates. They know he is a fake and phony, a wussy, a great pretender who only participated in the Black Lives Matter protest just to spite the president and not that he cares about black people.

Simply put, Mitt Romney is like any of "them white people" and he does not care about black people. He showed up in the march just for show, it was arranged and he made sure to be conspicuous enough that he was noticed and on a cue, the journalist interviewed him. He believed that his action will spite the president as antagonizing the president has become his new calling. He also believed that showing up will help build a non existent bridge between him and the black community but he miscalculated as no black person was impressed that Mitt Romney showed up. But Mitt Romney must know that he can NEVER be elected president of the United States of America, no matter the deceit, decoy or construct. American people know him as a fluke and a phony, he cannot be trusted and will never be elected president. He is the Julius Caesar's Cassius of our time and his treachery is legendary. Mitt Romney, just a pretentious mormon.

MICHAEL JORDAN'S $100 MILLION DONATION TO BLACK CAUSES

ICHEOKU says spending that money to train more black lawyers, doctors, engineers and other professionals, as well as in electing black people into offices would have been a better and more effective way of impacting black lives. But organizing protests, printing posters and teeshirts will not cut it as achieving meaningful power is should be the objective. Political power, judicial power, economic power, law enforcement power, financial power will be much easier to acquire with fully trained manpower who understand how the game is played. Without power, there is nothing black people can do to become powerful enough to change their situation in America as only the person with power is often heard and listened to. But hey, kudos to MJ for his donation.

LAW AND ORDER MAKES SOCIETY LIVABLE: SAY NO TO DEFUND POLICE.

ICHEOKU says majority of those snowflakes shouting disband the police, defund the police, will be the first victims of a lawless state which they are inadvertently calling for. Without law enforcement there is no society and it becomes a jungle where only the strongest and the fittest survive. Laws of the jungle is definitely different and it has no accommodation for the weak, the sick and the infirm. Those shouting for the abolishing of the police are about the weakest in the society and they need police protection more than those who are calling for the police to stay.

Unbeknownst to them, the police is the reason they have survived till today and thrived thus far. Remove the police today and people like Mark Zuckerberg will lose his ownership of Facebook, ditto the gaunt fella of Twitter, Jeff Bezos and so many others who a lawful society midwifed their existence and thriving. Imagine a society where the Minneapolis Mayor is left to fight for survival with Mike Tyson and you tell ICHEOKU the natural outcome. But these silly people are ungrateful for the security provided them by the existence of police and are taken everything for granted, the reason they have been running their mouth saying to defund and ban the police. If you ban the police today, they will not live to their full life expectancy as somebody will take them out without fear of law enforcement.

Many of them do not even know any better to understand and fully appreciate the ramification of what they are advocating. Many of them also do not have international passports and have never taken a trip outside the United States of America to understand how good they have it, having a police that do not constantly shake them down for bribes and at every corner. Even those who traveled, never made it to some countries where there is no 911 to dial when in trouble and where lawlessness is the norm and survival is the only order of the day. If only these agitators know better, they will be forever thankful and grateful for the law and order which exist in America, which is maintained by the police.

ICHEOKU says despite its shortcomings, which obviously could use some reforms, the police is not expendable in any society that wants to live and thrive in peace. The ensuing chaos is always such that even the worst kind of police is preferred to its complete absence. Somalia, Afghanistan, Waziristan, some parts of Mexico and of course the looting ad burning arising from the protest showcases what absence of police begets. America also once had its Wild Wild West and then, only the ruthlessly strong survived and no sane person should wish this on America, especially not the little minded fellows calling for the police to be disbanded through defunding.

What is needed is a sensible reformation and increased funding to help the police do a thankless risky job they are faced with. They are confronting society's dregs, people who are anti rules and order and these people for the most part has nothing to lose. The police put their lives on the line each day or night they step out to do their job, protecting the society. They are human beings too and many have families, wives, husbands, brothers, sisters, parents and children they like to return back to at the end of their shift. They are also under enormous pressure doing their job and the stress sometimes overcomes them. Many of them have been killed on the job, shot, stabbed and spitted on. Some have died as a result of accidents they were involved in while responding to someone in distress.

Therefore all these anti police outcries need to stop as it is not daily that the George Floyd's incident occurs. Every group has their own bad eggs and even Jesus Christ had Judas Iscariot in the midst of his twelve disciples. That a few police are bad does not  mean that the entire police is bad and America cannot allow this group guilting of the police to take roots. It is not fair to those police who are doing their best to protect and serve society within established laws and tolerable practices. Instead of the excessive antagonism of the police, let Americans try to understand and appreciate the work which they do. When any of them errs, then punish the errant officer individually and not impose a collective punishment on all the police.

Also, necessary reforms should be made to fix any observed shortcomings and to make the job easier for the police and to protect the policed. But removing the last bulwark between civilization and the jungle should be a complete no deal. Nature abhors a vacuum and if the police goes, the underground world will take over. ICHEOKU strongly believes that none of these snowflakes will prefer a life under the mob and their henchmen to the police, no matter how bad some of them may feel against the police. Reform the police where necessarily needed but reject the call for institutionalizing lawlessness. #SayNoToDefundPolice.

COLIN POWELL: NOT CREDIBLE, NEVER LOVED TRUMP.

ICHEOKU says Colin Powell lost his credibility with the American people and the world at large the day he lied that Saddam Hussein has Weapons of Mass Destruction and showed some props to buttress his lies. As it turned out, there was no WMDs and with it, his credibility went with the winds, blown to pieces. Credibility once lost is never regained and the lie about Saddam Hussein's WMD buried Colin Powell's contract with American people for good. Nobody listens to what Colin Powell has to say nor ever believes him when they are forced to hear it.

Colin Powell is a RINO, a republican in name only; and was so racist that he bucked his Republican Party's candidates John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012 to support and vote for the Democratic Party's candidate his fellow black person Barack Obama. Colin Powell also did not support nor vote for President Donald John Trump in 2016 and his support for Hillary Clinton never amounted to anything. So, who is the Jamaican Colin Powell fooling when he said that he will not vote for Trump on November 3rd. ICHEOKU says nobody really, as he did not vote for Trump in 2016 yet Trump won; and Trump will win again on November 3rd, with or without Colin Powell's vote. ICHEOKU says to Colin Powell, nobody really cares about his voice, vote or support and President Donald John Trump will win a reelection for a second term, regardless. #RINO

BLACK LIVES MATTER ON A PAVEMENT: SIMPLY A BAD IDEA.

ICHEOKU says why do a tribute which will be walked all over and underneath people's feet and vehicles tires. It is only dirt that is allowed to be down below the feet and tires. It was a bad idea as it does not in any way honor Black Lives Matter but only succeeded in placing them down under, beneath people's feet and vehicle tires. By the road signage, Black Lives Matter is now at par with dirt and it is dishearteningly demeaning. It would have been a different case were the BLM letters painted on a wall of a big building as an imposing giant mural, holding aloft the cause. But to put them down on a pavement, a roadway, where peoples shoes will pound them and vehicle tires will continuously run them over like a road kill, it is a statement in surrender and submission.

It is bad enough that black people are complaining that their necks are under white people's knees; but to now put the entire Black Lives Matter movement under everybody's feet and every vehicle tires is absolutely thoughtless and simply below par. Mayor Muriel Elizabeth Bowser simply out did herself, thinking that she was telegraphing a different message; but inadvertently admitted where black lives actually belong, beneath people's feet and vehicle tires. If she wanted to really honor black lives, she would have placed the sign on the wall of City Hall building or better still erect massive billboards along the entire 16th Street corridor with her Black Lives Matter letters painted on them. The H Street which she renamed BLM Plaza is a more honorable way to pay tribute to the struggle. But the painting of BLM on the pavement on 16th Street is definitely a negative because of necessary connotations.

The painting reminds ICHEOKU of what Saddam Hussein used to do to taunt America by painting American flag and President George H. Bush's image on the pavement where Iraqis walked all over them with spiteful glee and disdain. It is somewhat similar to throwing a shoe at somebody to show how contemptible the person is and message them  that they are below dirt. So, the Washington DC radical Mayor Bower did not insult the president by her action, rather she has created an otherwise avoidable antagonism for herself which will someday turn around to bite her badly any day she seeks some benefit or bailout from the Federal government. That she is the Mayor does not mean that she owns the streets of Washington DC to paint them as her ego desires.

So many people who live in Washington DC do not believe in BLM and each time they are forced to walk on the painting, it will further push them away from whatever cause BLM is pursuing. It is one thing to send a message but it a different thing all together to stick it in everybody's face, including those who would rather it was otherwise. Such in your face affront will only succeed in alienating people from each other, especially from the cause, as some white people might start seeing the Black Lives Matter as a struggle for power between white people and black people. People when threatened or feel under siege, reacts for survival and it will not bode well for Black Lives Matter if the majority are provoked as to feel threatened or no longer secure.

The painting is uncalled for and should be removed, painted over, as soon as possible or immediately following the waning off of the George Floyd's protest. The longer it stays the more people will start having thoughts and reading subliminal messages therein contained as a survival campaign between white people and black people. Such will definitely alienate support for Black Lives Matter and further prolong the resolution of the racial impasse in America. It is as simple as that, all the hullabaloo about George Floyd notwithstanding, that to fix the racial problem in America, the majority white people must first want to fix it, otherwise no deal. So, poking the finger in their eyes or waging the the finger in their face will only make them more reticent and withdrawn as they dig deeper to defend what they feel is theirs.

Why did Mayor Muriel Elizabeth Bowser not even paint the name of George Floyd on the street or name the street after him in order to immortalize him. But she was pandering to Black Lives Matter with a road painting on a street which belong to everybody, including those to whom black lives does not matter and you wonder what exactly was she thinking. ICHEOKU says condemns the road painting as a needless distraction to the issue of racism and excessive use of force by the police which are currently occupying the minds of American people. The painting is needlessly antagonist, confrontational and demeaning to BLM. Above all, defacing a public street by appropriating it to a particular people of people is not the answer and neither will antagonizing the president help with solving the problem. Only a concerted effort by everyone from both sides of the debate will solve the problem and Mayor Muriel Elizabeth Bowser should advise herself accordingly. #RemoveThePainting.

ROGER GODDELL: ADMISSION OF GUILT VINDICATES COLLIN KAEPERNICK

“First, my condolences to the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and all the families who have endured police brutality. We, the National Football League, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of black people. We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the National Football League, believe Black Lives Matter. I personally protest with you and want to be part of the much needed change in this country. Without black players, there would be no National Football League. And the protests around the country are emblematic of the centuries of silence, inequality and oppression of black players, coaches, fans and staff. We are listening. I am listening, and I will be reaching out to players who have raised their voices and others on how we can improve and go forward for a better and more united NFL family.” - Roger Goddell, Commissioner NFL.

ICHEOKU says with those words NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell admitted that the National Football League was wrong in not realizing that racism is a plague which has hounded black people for so long and still continuing till this day. An apology which is specifically directed to and rehire of Colin Kaepernick will be the right and proper thing to do as a necessary good-faith follow up to his sudden come to Jesus moment. Believing that his epiphany is real, ICHEOKU says Roger Goddell should consider taking some tangible actions, including spending towards improving the lives of black Americans. He could start by donating substantial amount of money to black causes and establishing education foundation for black people who want to go to college, including law and medical schools. He can even immortalize his name by naming the foundation after himself.

Roger Goddell can also cause the NFL to endow a medical health foundation for indigent black people who cannot afford health insurance or establish a food program for those who cannot feed themselves and their children. At $50million a year income, Roger Goddell is a very wealthy man and could easily afford to give up 10% of his wealth to help pay for these beneficial commitments to black people and help make black lives matter more. But he might just be flowing with the times and wanted to be heard as sympathetic to the cause without seriously meaning what he said, afterall he has been around this Ife for over 50 years and cannot in all sincerity say that he is not aware that there is a race problem in America.

But ICHEOKU will like to give him the benefit of the doubt that regardless of what his position was in the past that he is now prepared to turn the page, as a more aware and conscious person who now understands the racial problem afflicting black people in America. However, ICHEOKU does not agree with a return to a statusquo which nearly killed the NFL with players kneeling down during national anthem. It is divisive and it is a hot button issue and should be avoided going forward. The point has been made and it has registered; and for purposes of carrying everyone along, there should be no more kneeling during the anthem which most people interpret as disrespecting of the flag. Rather, the NFL should increase substantially any effort it makes to ameliorate the plight of black people in America through funding of programs beneficial to them.

If the NFL can bring itself to pay for ten black people to get trained as lawyers and/or medical doctors or as any other professional every year, then Roger Goddell would have etched his name in gold as one who made some difference in the lives of black people. By helping them get professional education, he would have taught them how to fish and they can then fish for their families and also teach others in their communities how to fish. Collectively, they will help improve the economic situation in their communities as well as help improve the general wellbeing of their people.

Roger Goddell knows very well that action is always better than words and therefore he should put his money where his mouth is by redistributing some of his wealth to black people. That way, he will actually help to improve the lives of some black people and actually make black lives to matter. Overall, his statement has the right tone and was well received; ICHEOKU appreciates him for boldly stepping up to make it, but adds that more is expected.

VINDICATED: WILL HE GET HIS JOB BACK?

JOE BIDEN'S 99 PROBLEMS INCLUDES HIS RECORD.

ICHEOKU says for a man who usually touts his record of being in Washington DC for 40 years, one is rather surprised that he always do that fully aware that a four decades long record cannot be all that clean and without smudges. But the former Vice President frequently throws that about, check my record; to which ICHEOKU says whether the 1994 CRIME BILL is part of this record which the Democratic Party presidential candidate  frequently proudly refers to. If, then he has another thing coming as millions of incarcerated black people and other minorities has a problem with Joe Biden, based on his record.

GENERAL MATTIS ATTACK: ROMNEY TAKES SIDE FOR VENDETTA.

ICHEOKU says he is still roiling in anger at the president and his other middle name is unforgiven. He professes Christianity, admitted his Mormon brand is somewhat weird. He is still fuming and uses every opportunity to bark at the president. Although merely barking because Mr Penguin got nothing on Mr MAGA, but the frequency of his growling is becoming more pronounced. ICHEOKU says he can only hate and envy a man taller, bigger and huger  than him in every aspect, however measured; but Mitt Romney cannot stop President Donald John Trump reelection bid to an assured second term in office.

Now, he has aligned with General Mattis and you wonder what will Mitt Romney not do to show and register his displeasure at the president. A president who is a man of peace and who has not started any new war since he came into office, but is ending America's overextended engagements in never ending wars throughout the world. That anybody would seriously think that the president will allow American citizens to be killed by American soldiers on American soil is the height of puerility and willful ignorance of the president's approach to governance. The president merely cajoled the protesters to see if they could stop their looting and burning, but he never meant to unleash soldiers on American citizens. But Mitt Romney and his Trump-hating band of scavengers would rather pretend otherwise as they attack the president for no reason whatsoever other than to pile on him, because it is election season and all the long knives are out.

It is the continuing enmity which saw Mitt Romney vote to call more witnesses against the president during the impeachment hearing; admitted he did not have the decency to apologize for that since the truth of the hoax became public. Mitt Romney had asked for more witnesses and additional documentations to be presented, which were rejected, but he still went on to vote to convict the president. ICHEOKU says on what sufficient evidence did Mitt Romney's determination that the president was guilty based, since his request for more witnesses and additional evidence were denied. According to Mitt Romney, the reason for the additional witnesses and documentations was to shore up the weak evidence presented. But they were not made available, which meant that the case was not sufficiently proved to warrant a conviction but he went on to vote to convict the president, regardless.

It showed a Mitt Romney who was predisposed to convict the president, otherwise he would have voted to acquit the president for lack of sufficient evidence. Meanwhile, he pretended all along to be an impartial juror but had made up his mind to convict, which shows that he is double faced janus. Mitt Romney does not know how to get past his anger at the president. He is also envious and jealous of the president accomplishments, particularly his presidency and he will always stab the president at any given opportunity, as he just did again by taking sides with General Mattis against a president who was merely trying to quell the riot and destruction going on by talking tough. He knows that the president will not kill Americans, yet he chose to once again drive the knife into the president's rib cage.

If the president is a bad person would Mitt Romney have actively sought a job as Secretary of State in his presidency. If the president is evil, would Mitt Romney have accepted as many dinner invites and visits to the White House. If the president is a horrible person would Mitt Romney have accepted an invitation to the White House to participate in the vaping brainstorming. If the president is such a hate-filled monster, would Mitt Romney have actively courted his endorsement when he ran for president against Barack Obama in 2012? Again the president endorsed him when he ran for Senate in Utah and Mitt Romney welcomed the endorsement with glee. What exactly did the president do to attract such venomous hatred from Mitt Romney, except that the president achieved what Mitt Romney bungled and became the president of the United States of America before him and an envious Mitt Romney is still sulking over it.

ICHEOKU says the person who actually have a cold heart of evil is Mitt Romney, the Mormon. Mr Penguin is very antagonistic of the president for no reason except that he is jealous of the president. Mr Stiff, who choked during his 2012 second debate with Barack Obama and went on to lose the election, is still mad at himself and mad at a president who succeeded where he failed. During the impeachment, Mitt Romney would have voted to acquit or at most voted PRESENT due to lack of sufficient evidence but he chose to vote to convict the president. He was also aware that his joining the Democrats to vote guilty would not change the verdict. But not Mitt Romney, as he insisted on sticking it to the president with his yes vote and let the world know that he hates the president so much, seeks his downfall and does not give a damn nor care a hoot about party unity or being a team player.

Mitt Romney said that he principally wanted John Bolton's testimony to see if it could provide him with a reasonable doubt about what the president did. This meant that Mitt Romney had already made up his mind about the president's guilt, adjudged the president guilty and only sought a reason to change his guilty vote. How tenable was Mitt Romney's explanation since he knew what John Bolton would have testified to, that the president told him investigating Joe Biden was his reason for delaying the Ukrainian aid. How could such a testimony have provided Mitt Romney with any reasonable doubt in order to change his already made up mind, guilty. But he lied anyway about his ulterior motive, yet he parades himself as a Christian, exactly the reason many people doubt that the Mormon church is a Christian body and not a cult.

What manner of a Christian holds such an unending grudge and is very unforgiving. The president has severally tried to woo and win Mitt Romney over despite Mitt Romney having actively worked against his candidacy and also refused to vote for him. The president  interviewed Mitt Romney for the Secretary of State position but Mitt Romney was determined not qualified. The president actively supported Mitt Romney's Senate campaign and severally twitted his full support for his Senate run. The has severally invited Mitt Romney to the White House for dinner and for semi official matters such as during the Vaping brain storming. But despite all these gestures of goodwill, Mitt Romney still harbors ill will against the president, begging the question, what exactly does Mitt Romney want before he could repent and sin no more against a president who did nothing to him nor bears grudges against him.

ICHEOKU says what manner of a man still wishes the president ill despite all the president have done to smooth things over with him, except a Judas Iscariot who covets the presidency and continuously participates in various schemes to get rid of the president and remove from office. Mitt Romney admitted that nobody can defeat an incumbent President Donald John Trump on November 3rd, 2020; the reason he shied away from contesting for president this 2020. Mitt Romney said this himself while speaking to his donors and supporters in June 2018:
"I think President Trump will be re-nominated by my party easily, and I think he’ll be reelected solidly in 2020. A strong economy and rising wages, including the Democrats really going out of the mainstream of American thought, will make it easier for a president who is presiding over a growing economy to win a reelection come 2020. Therefore I will not challenge his nomination but will strongly support his reelection in 2020." But the economy has succumbed to the coronavirus pandemic and Mitt Romney is second guessing himself by resuming his hostility at the president.

Unfortunately a lot of bad people do horrible things in the name of religion. Islamist  terrorists blow people up shouting Allahu Arkbah. Mitt Romney shrouds his evil heart in religion and uses it to bamboozle his listeners. He presents an outer piousness as a reason to believe him because according to him, his faith is in a higher being which solely drives his actions. But this is the same callous man who refused to provide insurance to one of his employee who had cancer and he watched him die. This is a man who became rich through hostile take over of distressed companies and firing their staff and then turning around to sell the shorted companies off at a profit. This is a man who tied his family's dog on the roof of his car and drove twelve hours on a vacation. Mitt Romney also kept a binder full of women, yet he is sanctimoniously preaching virtue and love to the president.

This is the fella preaching morals and holding himself supremely qualified to pass judgment on President Trump. What exactly did Mitt Romney want the president to do, to stand aside hands akimbo and watch the mob overrun the White House and burn it down like the British did. The same Mitt Romney would have been the first person to complain that the president could not and did not defend the White House from the mob when they attacked, begging the question could this guy make heaven and what would Jesus say to him. What a pitiful slimy fellow and he looks the part, a Cassius and a Judas Iscariot combined. The good news is that Mitt Romney has burnt whatever goodwill he previously had with American people and he can NEVER be elected president of the United States of America no matter his treachery. The guy is toast, electorally.

JOE BIDEN'S PHILADELPHIA SPEECH: SIMPLY POLITICAL.

ICHEOKU says for a candidate who rides on a presidential campaign bus themed "No Malarkey Express" to, with a straight face, feed black people such malarkey as he did in Philadelphia, it is either he is so full of it or he thinks that black people are too dumb to know any better. Joe Biden authored the 1994 Crime Bill that completely decimated black families in America and he is now saying what; that he was too young then to understand their plight or that the inequities he is now talking about never existed then? He spent 48 years in Washington DC, as a Senator and Vice President, yet these inequities were never addressed. But suddenly, he now wants black people to swallow his patronizing sanctimonies and be giddy with expectation about the soon to arrive "President" Joe Biden who will magically wish away all their problems.

ICHEOKU says if Joe Biden did not solve black Americans problems when he was young, energetic and somewhat charismatic and could have easily fought the fight; he will not do it now that his political sun has almost set, leaving behind it an old feeble man, with little to no energy left in him to fight such a costly battle. He is promising black people a sugar candy mountain of an experience when he becomes president, believing that black people  did not read Animal Farm, particularly the account of the pig named Snowball and a horse named Boxer. And just like with the satire rendered in the book, Joe Biden is promising to deliver to black people things which he knows fully well that he cannot deliver, even if he truly believes in what he is saying himself.

Joe Biden knows the complexity of the issues involved and that there is no silver bullet or any known magic wand with which to swath away racism in America. But he is banking on attention deficiency of the people and that they will not remember who authored the 1994 Crime Bill. One other thing about Joe Biden and his professed love for black people, as evidenced by the 1994 Crime Bill, is that he feels so comfortable making undeliverable empty promises to black people. But the one promise which he can in fact actually and easily deliver to them, if he is serious about giving them something and in order to show his good faith and sincerity of purpose that he will do right by and for black people, he has refused to deliver.

A sincere Joe Biden could have announced that he will pick a black woman as his vice presidential candidate as a starting point in delivering things to black people. Such will be a good step in his harmonizing of Americans into his dream America where everybody is treated fairly and carried along, regardless of their skin color. But he will not and in fact refuses to commit to picking a black woman because Joe Biden is part of the problem facing black people in America. Joe Biden is a member of the good ole white boy club who have their knees on black people's necks and he also authored the 1994 Crime Bill which decimated black American families through mass incarceration and dual penalties for drug offenses based on their skin color.

It was Joe Biden's law that punished possession of cocaine differently from possession of crack cocaine, the former because it is the drug of choice for white people and the later because that's the drug black people can afford. Yet Joe Biden wants black Americans to develop amnesia about what he did to them, their families, their friends and their relatives with the 1994 Crime Bill. Politics is indeed a damn profession and politicians are a damnable people, otherwise how could Joe Biden have the impetus to pontificate a love for black people and so shamelessly too after writing the 1994 Crime Bill. ICHEOKU expects a more politically savvy black people to demand from Joe Biden a firm commitment in writing that he will appoint a black Secretary of the Treasury and black Secretary of Defense before falling in line behind his candidacy. The time for free support is over and a time for political horse trading is now, it is called QUID PRO QUO.

So, what took him so long to realize that black people are shortchanged in America and why did he not do something about the enumerated inequities in America all these years he was in Washington DC. He had opportunities to do something about it as Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman and as Vice President but he looked the other way.  Now,  he wants black people to be deluded that Joe Biden suddenly had an epiphany and woken from a long self induced coma, will now be their captain America come to their rescue. But it is the silly season of election year campaign and the former vice president and presidential nominee of the Democratic Party is trying to score cheap political points and with it seek to gain some black votes by promising a heavenly paradise to black people, but never told them how he is going to get them there.

Black people must be wise and smart this time not to buy into the Joe Biden's bunkum, because he is always big on promises but short on delivering them. Like Ronald Reagan once said, black people must not only first verify before trusting Joe Biden, but they must demand additional firm commitments from him before they climb unto his boat.

The promises made in Philadelphia may sound tempting, but they remain mere promises until they are implemented. But unfortunately they cannot be implemented, not by Joe Biden and not by anyone else because racism in America is somewhat inextricably interwoven with the society and it has lasted for several hundreds of years now. If Joe Biden could end racism in America, he would have done it since the last 48 years he is in Washington DC, both as a Senator and a Vice President. He didn't because he couldn't and he won't and he knows it, but he decided to carry on with his empty promises hoping to deceive black people into voting for him on November 3rd.

ICHEOKU says to black people, before they fall to Joe Biden's charm offensive trickery, to first find out who authored the 1994 Crime Bill. Joe Biden said that he will seek to heal racial wounds that have long plagued America, but he failed to tell black people how he will reach into the hearts and minds of white people and make them heal from their hatred of black people. The pain of racism never attenuated nor healed, it has been raw and it has been real all the 48 years Joe Biden was in Washington DC since 1972 but he did nothing about healing it, making it more bearable only to now embark on false promises.

Joe Biden said that his America cherishes life, yet he supports abortion on demand which is wasting millions of American children lives, black babies included. Joe Biden said that he will be a listening president but the concluded Democratic Party's presidential primaries showed a Joe Biden who is feisty, easy to provoke, angry and who does not listen to anybody, but always seeks to impose his will on others. Joe Biden also does not have the needed temperament of a president and has anger issues. Joe Biden does not admit to his guilt, does not apologize and he frequently, flatly, refuses to answer or respond to questions bordering on what he considers a no go area about himself and his family. Joe Biden often touts his records but fails to understand that the 1994 Crime Bill is part of his records.

ICHEOKU says why did it take Joe Biden until now to finally realize that black people are suffering under the weight of generations after generations of hurt inflicted by his white people? He was aware of it 48 years ago in 1972 when he first moved to Washington DC as he is aware of it today in 2020 when he is running for president, but he did nothing then in 1972 through now and he will do nothing about it in the future. Whatever black hole of grief at the chest of black people which Joe Biden was pointing out now was not dug today. It has been in their chest since they were forcibly yanked out of Africa and into servitude in America. But did a "caring" Joe Biden do anything palliative, including seriously taking up the issue of reparation, since the last 48 years he is in Washington DC?  Also if the purpose of America has guided America from the beginning, was putting hurt on black people part of the purpose and if not, why has it not been remedied ever since.

ICHEOKU says will like to remind Joe Biden that Eric Garner, another "I can't breathe" victim of white police, was choked to death in New York under his watch, during the Obama administration. So why is it now that George Floyd was similarly murdered that he finally decided that America should listen to the "I can't breath" cry, when he did not so urge and admonish America in 2014 when Eric Garner was murdered. Joe Biden wants Americans to now listen, understand and respond with real action; but he never similarly asked when Eric Garner was murdered. If, as Joe Biden personally admitted, black people have always had knees of white people on their throats and for so long, why is it now that he is suddenly concerned about it and voicing about it, when he selectively ignored it all these decades he was in Washington and participating in the kneeing.

Further, how does he want the government to distinguish between the legitimate protesters from the opportunistic violent anarchists when all of them were mixed together in a ball of riotous confusion. He talked about those mistreated, ignored, left out and behind, but forgot that the same black people have always been exposed to the same conditions. So why is he now suddenly raising the issue when he kept a blind eye and maintained a deaf ear to their plight and did not help them all these years he was in Washington DC since 1972. ICHEOKU says also wants to remind Joe Biden that the right to peaceably assemble does not include destruction of properties through arson and looting.

Anyway, ICHEOKU agrees with Joe Biden that systematic racism did not start with President Donald John Trump. However, the police did not kill George Floyd with weapons of war, so it was rather hypocritically presumptuous for Joe Biden to call for their withdrawal from the police, the Mexican fast and furious scheme considered. Joe Biden  was Senate Judiciary Committee chairman but failed to pass necessary legislations that would have given meaning to the Constitution's equal protection under the law. Yet Joe Biden wants black Americans not to have a recollective memory about his record while in the Senate, principally as the author of the infamous 1994 Crime Bill.

ICHEOKU says one inviolable truth from Joe Biden is his statement that "I wish I could say this hate began with Donald Trump and will end with him. It didn't and it won't." Joe Biden  knows this because he is part of the "good ole white boy" club who kept the disparity status-quo in place and he exploited it to the fullest, for a long 48 years and counting. Joe Biden also spoke another truth that "the presidency is a big job and that nobody will get everything right and that he too won't either. But over all, Joe Biden spoke as the politician he is, one running for president and pandered to black people with all his tall promises just to get their votes to help him get into the White House. His promises don't mean a thing and he meant nothing when he made them. ICHEOKU says black people must not swallow the Joe Biden's bait and if they must, to first make sure that they secure a firm commitment from him. Thankfully Joe Biden had enough energy to finish reading the teleprompter and thats some good news as well.

JOE BIDEN'S CATCH-22 QUANDARY: EITHER WAY, HE WILL LOSE ON NOVEMBER 3RD.

ICHEOKU says George Floyd's riot did a  number on Joe Biden's campaign. It did a great disservice to a campaign which is reeling on its knees and increasingly nearing moribund. The riot was a problem which Team Joe Biden wished they did not have to deal with. It Is an albatross which has sank their campaign irrecoverably, as the damage it wrought on it is quite substantial.

The riot once again reminded white Americans what is at stake in America, what is facing them in America and what constitute a subsisting existential threat to them and their way of life as Americans. It said to them that the future is bleak and unless they guard and protect what they have, a day will come when they might lose it all. It reminded them that black people in America are like a rumbling volcano which might erupt some day to smother everything on its path, including white power. It gave them a peep into a threatening black revolution and they are not laughing about the matter and never did, because it is dire and damn serious.

They want to protect themselves, their families, their children and their children's children as well as their wealth and power. They are determined to secure their future generations and they will do whatever it takes to anchor that. They know that black revolution is a continuing threat in America and they also know the consequences of it succeeding. The nightmarish scenario is keeping them up at night, but they have also made commitments to themselves never to allow it see the light of day, ever. They are wary and they are scared of its viability and they will do everything within their white power not to let it ever come to fruition.

As a result, they will continue to take actions and adopt measures which will thwart such a revolution; which will best protect them and safeguard their interests, no matter how remote or distantly fetched their fear is. It is a contemplation which keeps them continuously engaged, wondering the possibility of what lay ahead. This struggle is one fight they are determined to win because they see America as the last bastion of white power, Germany have failed with its own experiment. So, they are not ready to take any chances by toying with the idea of relinquishing power, no matter the subterfuge. They did it once with Barack Obama and nearly regretted the mistake.

Going forward, they will not again lose their hold on power and they will continue to do whatever it takes to ensure secured power, regardless. This November 3rd, 2020 they will vote for the candidate who they believe will most protect them from any such future nightmarish  scenario of a black revolution. The candidate who fits all this billings is the candidate they will vote to elect in November and it is quite obvious who this candidate is. President Donald John Trump is it, case closed. He is the candidate of real Americans and he is a real American candidate for America. As president, he vigorously defends America and America's interests, no questions asked and if asked, pleads the Fifth and he will continue on this trajectory come November 3rd going forward.

Even those white people who do not necessarily like the president's personality or who are put off by his tweets, will on November 3rd, see the greater common good of white people as supervening their personal dislike for him and will rise above their subjectivity to vote for the broader interest. Their interest is protecting the white hold on power and the candidate who will be more effective in discharging this obligation will win the presidential election on November 3rd, 2020. The very candidate is not debatable; that choice is clear and it is certainly not Joe Biden, admitted he too is also vested in the overarching outcome of maintaining white power hold.

But Joe Biden's white problem is that he will not be an effective crusader in prosecuting and defending the cause. He no longer has what it takes to effectively do so as he did in his young political years. As you know, white power is not just in the ordinary sloganeering skin heads war cries, no; it is in maintaining control over the levers of society, politics economy judiciary and the military/security service. These are non negotiable markers and they want to secure them always and at all times, no questions asked nor entertained. An uncompromising defender and believer of this fundamental guiding philosophy is who the American white people will elect president on November 3rd, 2020 despite all the noise.

Also, Joe Biden is nearly completely gone with old age, which will make the running of any presidency of his the Vice President's job. In other words, the Vice President of Joe Biden will end up becoming the president as Joe Biden will be too frail to carry out the rigorous duties of a president and will resign by reason of incapacity so soon following his inauguration. This likely outcome throws additional wrench in the wheel of Joe Biden's planned 'No Malarkey' bus ride to the White House, forcing it to veer off into a ditch from where it cannot be recovered before November 3rd election. There are simply too many competing forces marshaled against choosing Joe Biden's vice presidential candidate and settling on one candidate will be a load too heavy for Joe Biden to lift.

Unfortunately, he has already put himself in a bind with his  promise to choose a female candidate as his vice presidential running mate. He even called it a pledge and he will be held bound to it. Whoever he eventually chooses will be a function of so many horse trading and you wonder whose horse shall be sacrificed for the gods of compromise. In fact, it does not matter who he chooses, he will still lose the election, regardless. The shortchanged side will buck him and will either boycott him totally or vote the other guy in protest. If Joe Biden chooses a black female, white females will abandon him in protest because they know that his election will automatically translate to another black president in the White House. It does not appear that white people are ready for another black president so soon after what they term "the disaster" that was Barack Obama.

White women in particular, especially the Hillary Clinton's extremists liberal wing of the Democratic Party will seriously kick against Joe Biden's choosing a black female vice presidential candidate. They know the implication of such a choice and wants to be the first to produce the female president of the United States of America and they will not take kindly to any arrangement that will see a black female beating their Madam to that prize. As is generally widely known, Joe Biden is no longer in his prime; his mind is in a steady decline, his best days are since behind him, thus whoever becomes his vice president will end up assuming the presidency before his first term in office runs out.

This is the prize which comes with his Vice President and many people are playing for keeps, determinedly seeking to secure the slot. This is the reason for the frenzy on who he will pick as his vice presidential candidate because the person is peradventure an assured president in waiting, with only moments away before assuming the full presidency. If on the other hand, Joe Biden chooses a white female for the slot, black people will abandon him for not reciprocating their love for him which made them make him the presidential nominee starting with South Carolina.

Fortunately for President Donald John Trump he does not have any of Joe Biden's 99 problems and will easily coast to his second term. The president already has a Vice President so there will be no problem about who will he choose as his Vice President. Also, the president already have a solid MAGA base who are loyal to the core for his campaign, they will serve as standing army leading the get the vote effort. So all the president needs now is to court some additional supporters/voters from across the broader political spectrum and the deed is done. ICHEOKU says it will be done, signed and delivered on November 3rd, 2020. So, head or tail, North or South, rain or shine, President Donald John Trump will win a reelection on November 3rd for a second term, all the distractions and noise notwithstanding. Joe Biden is simply no competition nor the alternative which American people desires and deserves.

WHO WAS THIS GUY AND WHY WAS HE KILLED LIKE A DOG?

ICHEOKU says there may be more to the story than meets the eyes, as such a publicly depraved heart murder suggests something vengeful and demonic. Could George Floyd have been killed for a vendetta arising from what he did in the past. But the executioner is not talking yet, so the world might not get to know what actually triggered the murderous kneeling. Something is not just right and it is dubious that a police man could so brazenly asphyxiate a fellow man so publicly. Who was this George Floyd and what in his past life could have triggered his public execution. A lot of questions but with little to no answers. #WhyWasGeorgeFloydKilled.

GEORGE FLOYD: PRESIDENT TRUMP'S MESSAGE WAS LOST IN TRANSLATION.

ICHEOKU says previous administrations usually employ spinmeisters who go on every available television show and radio stations to, when needed, explain what the president said or convince Americans that what they heard the president misstate or said wrongly was not exactly what they heard. That way, they clean up after the president and repair whatever damage which may have occurred or that was threatening, as a result of what the president said. But President Donald John Trump is somewhat a man alone president as it appears that he does not trust anybody to speak for him or does not believe that anybody is good enough to clean up his misstatement. This is probably the reason he is permanently glued on the spotlight, doing it by himself, frequently making statements which are being overly examined by his critics unlike any other president before him.

ICHEOKU says the president should try and limit his appearances on television and also guard what he says to avoid the associated ruckus. In fact, this his fixture on television is beginning to rile up even some people who support the president and it needs to stop or be reduced to a minimum, only when it becomes absolutely necessary for him to show up. The president should endeavor to allow professionals speak for him sometimes, especially in matters that require middle of the road nuancing; otherwise he might succeed in further alienating some people before November 3rd gets here. For example his "looting and shooting" comment was avoidable and unnecessarily divisive. But a well oiled spinmeisters could have easily clarified it as meaning shooting being a necessary concomitant to looting as street gangs might cash in on the unruly situation to unleash their mayhem. Even the other misspeak of "injecting disinfectant" was another avoidable speak which would not have occurred had the president left the Taskforce to handle the briefing.

The president's problem is that he does not seem to understand or does not care that there is a difference between speaking to his supporters and speaking to the nation, hence he does not usually distinguish nor inflects his tone accordingly, as a specific situation might demand. The president does not utilize the craft of speaking as a president, presidents speak to everyone, both those who voted for them and those who did not. The president is a good campaigner without a doubt, but speaking to his political base is different from speaking to the whole country, which includes those who did not vote for him, those who are weighing their choices this November and also those who even find the president detestable. He does not speak like a president who wants to increase his voters by winning over more converts and reassuring those who are suspicious of him that their concerns will be addressed in order to assuage their fears.

The president does not have to be a good orator to do this, but he needs to inculcate some empathy and also master the political tactic of sharing in the sorrow and grief of the people. People need to be reassured in times of great tribulations such as the ongoing coronavirus plague, the latest George Floyd killing and the great economic challenges facing them that everything will be alright. But unfortunately, the president lacks the required tactical skill which oftentimes comes with longevity in politics, to master this clever art of communicating to a politically diverse people in times of trouble. Some non politicians even train for this manner of speaking and are often hired as consultants and spinmeisters by politicians, to help them freshen out statements which did not come out as intended or which although intended, did not sit well with the people. Their job being to spin it around to sit well with the people. The president is not a good pupil of this because of his limited time in politics and his general background did not equip him with that either.

Also the president's love for the limelight is almost nearing an addiction level, which makes him to always want to be seen and heard, even when it is not necessarily needed and sometimes over trifle things which his spokesperson would have ordinarily taken care of. Even his incessant tweeting is now becoming emblematic that ICHEOKU says the president should consider reducing his tweeting, instead of the current face-off with Twitter which he is not winning. ICHEOKU has always wondered what will happen should Twitter decide to suspend the president's account or block him for few hours or even delete his account? The president should try and discipline his love for television appearances and trim his tweeting at least for the remainder of the campaign months. This will help him firm his standing before the American people and also make some people forget so many of his misstatements and forgive their misgivings against the president.

Empathy is an asset which either the president lacks or does not know how to show it. George Bush's famous statement at Ground Zero, "I hear you and very soon the people that knocked down these buildings will soon hear from you", was such an effective communication in empathy and a nation then in peril heard him. They were reassured that their president will protect them and that he was going to do something about what happened. That was what the people needed to hear from their president at that time of great fear and President George Bush delivered on it, regardless of the eventual outcome of its implementation. But so far, during this coronavirus pandemic, the unemployment induced economic suffering and now George Floyd's murder and the resulting protest, the president has not reassuringly spoken to the nation in a manner that will reduced the heightened fear and anxiety in the land.

But whether the president understands the imperative to reassure the nation that he is on top of the three situational problems and will do whatever it takes to make all the bad things go away is but anyone's guess. ICHEOKU says is not very optimistic that the nation will see a changed president any time soon because he is not cut in that cloth. ICHEOKU prays that the president will allow people trained in the art of communication to help him get through this moment and that the president only makes appearances and speaks, when absolutely necessary for him to do so. A time like this required placing the country above self and the display of the utmost concern about the welfare of the people; including reassurances that everything will be okay and that the government is on top of the situation. But it seems that the president listens to nobody and that those around him, including his wife First Lady Melania Trump, either do not advise him or he does not heed their advise.

It was the same love of the limelight that hurt the president badly with the coronavirus pandemic when he hijacked the daily briefings of the Presidential Coronavirus Taskforce and many things went wrong with perception as a result. Instead of leaving the team he put in place to handle the briefings, the president inserted himself in it and with it made a lot of regrettable misstatements including the ingestion of disinfectant. His daily appearances showed him as being overtly defensive, combative, callous and not showing the required empathy for a nation that is hurting badly and was looking for a consoler in chief, who unfortunately was not available. Instead of showing the country that he shares their pain, he busied himself with selectively taking credit for things that went right and passing the buck on the many things that went awry. It was not what the country needed but the president failed to understand that and it is hurtful.

In such situations, a seasoned political operator would have been more circumspect, more empathic and showed great understanding that too many people perished in the coronavirus pandemic and that their loved ones are not interested in what the president possibly got right since their loved ones did not benefit from it by surviving. The same lack of empathy was again shown with the millions of people who lost their jobs and who can hardly feed their children now. The stimulus checks notwithstanding, there is no constant messaging to these people that all will eventually be well and that the president is doing everything he can to make their situations better. Then enter the George Floyd's killing and people were expecting the president to show them that everything will be alright, but met a president who is tweeting about MAGA loving black people as if telling those black people who identify with MAGA that they are not welcomed to the fold. It is also a fact that not all those protesting were black people, but an ill conceived tweet portrayed the president in a bad light as a white biased president who sees everything as a "we and them" situation.

ICHEOKU says nobody was expecting the president to undo what was done, only to show some sincerity that he understands their pain and that he will do whatever it takes to ameliorate their problem. But his messaging were lost in badly worded tweets and now people have left the Minnesota Democrats whose police office triggered everything and are now blaming the president for what he did not do nor had a hand in doing. Anyway, lets hope that the needle will somewhat move with the president  and he sees the wisdom in stepping aside from the podium and allow his spokes people to do their job. ICHEOKU says  the president also needs to reengage the services of some spinmeister, including Steve Bannon, and allow them get back on the airwaves, pushing his reelection and rephrasing whatever the president says that comes out wrongly or as unfeeling, heartless and callous. #BringBackSteveBannon.
