AFGHANIS ESCORT US AIR FORCE PLANE OUT OF KABUL AIRPORT.
ICHEOKU says the photo of the day which has now entered into the pantheons of greatest photographs ever taken. It is iconic and generations yet unborn will look at it and say what led to it and how was the situation not managed better in order to avoid such an outcome. The Kabul airport photograph now compares to the Marines raising of American flag photograph in Iwo Jima, the Napalm naked girl of Vietnam and the Beatles on Abbey Lane, just to mention a few. #TheKabulPhoto.

BROKEN EGG AFGHANISTAN IS JOE BIDEN'S OMELETTE: YUMMY AMERICAN BREAKFAST.
ICHEOKU says supports Joe Biden's resolve on the complete withdrawal of all American troops from Afghanistan, but rejects the attempt to put some blame on President Donald John Trump for an Afghanistan upturned by the Taliban. Joe Biden has been canceling everything and anything with Trump's name and signature on it, and could have also easily canceled whatever agreement which President Donald John Trump reached with the Taliban on Afghanistan withdrawal. But he chose otherwise and did not do so. Rather, he fully embraced the agreement in fulfillment of his own election campaign pledge to finally end the Afghanistan war by bringing all the troops back home and proceeded to do so.
Therefore, whatever happened in Afghanistan under Joe Biden's watch was entirely of his own making as the buck squarely stopped on his desk and nobody else. It was under Joe Biden's watch that Taliban took back their Afghanistan which was previously taken from them by the Americans in 2001 and so is the story, period. The Taliban merely took back what belongs to them and nobody, not even Joe Biden, should be blamed for the fate which finally befell Afghanistan. The people of Afghanistan made their choice in choosing the Taliban over the government in Kabul, otherwise the 300,000 "well trained" and well equipped" Afghanistan soldiers would have easily defended their country against the 75,000 rag tag Taliban fighters. But they did not because they are all Taliban and prefer their medieval lifestyle as opposed to Western civilized lifestyle.
Everybody should therefore butt out and let Afghanis carry on with the type of governance which they prefer and have chosen. They made their choice abundantly very clear by openly welcoming Taliban back to their country's seat of power in Kabul. We should therefore not cry them a river or pretend that we are more Afghanistan than Afghanis, or that we love them more than they love themselves or that we know best what type of governance is better for Afghanistan. They had twenty years of experimenting a civilized Western form of governance and to choose which type of government they prefer, and they have chosen their medieval Taliban. It was not for lack of trying or that America finally did what they should have done since 2011 following the Osama bin Laden killing, but that Afghanis are strongly convinced that Taliban style of governance is best for them and in their best interest.
So, it would not have mattered if America extended its stay by another twenty years or indefinitely; did not enter an agreement with the Taliban on withdrawal ofamerican troops from Afghanistan; or did not even announce the withdrawal date. The outcome would have remained the same, the Taliban would have still returned back to power. It is entrenched in Afghanis' DNA as they were born and programmed that way, and no Jupiter would have effected a different outcome short of completely wiping out every Afghani above the age of 30 years and then take a chance at retraining and reprogramming those left behind. President Donald John Trump rightly said that winning the war would have required the killing about ten million Afghanis but he chose not to kill that many people. To this, ICHEOKU adds that the number would actually have been double the assessed figure if there were to be any chance of ever building a new nation of Afghanistan with a fully purged Taliban mindset.
But since killing this millions of Afghanis was not possible nor an option and former President Hamid Karzai unceasingly berated America each time there is some collateral damage, accusing America of genocide and war crimes, it was good that America cut their losses and beat it fast out of that country. You cannot help a people who do not want to be helped as it is clear that twenty years of persuasion did not move a needle in them. So, with them moving back to their Stone Age life, it will make it one less place for the world to worry about with the dwindling of resources and developmental aids facing the world. Taliban is the majority party in Afghanistan and they proved it with the easy manner with which they routed the country, with their members in the Afghanistan national army surrendering to them as they pushed to Kabul rather than fight them. Needless to add that the embedded Taliban in the Afghanistan national army were even also killing American soldiers who were training them.
Therefore, ending the outrage that was the extended stay in Afghanistan was a thing whose time came since in 2011, but which Joe Biden finally, courageously and resolutely fulfilled. He should be commended and supported for doing the right thing and what is in the best interest of American people. No amount of blackmail will tarnish Joe Biden's legacy on this issue or cajole him into sending American troops back in Afghanistan to continue fighting an unwinnable war with the Taliban, especially when their fellow Afghanis refused to fight them because they are the same family members. It is their country, their people and their Taliban; let them deal with themselves as they see fit. So, to hell with anyone who is blaming Joe Biden for finally manning up, backbone firmed and doing what should have been done ten years earlier in 2011. Afghanis do not want to be civilized and prefers their ancient lifestyle, and the world cannot do anything further but to indulge them.
Sadly enough, the same foreign media and some domestic pundits, who were attacking America for "killing innocent women and children" in Afghanistan, are the same people who are now pillorying America for ending the "killing or innocent women and children of Afghanistan" by withdrawing American troops from Afghanistan. They are piling pressure on Joe Biden to force him to reverse course, but thankfully, Joe Biden is not President Donald John Trump who is easily swayed by such armed chair criticism and "opinion polls". Joe Biden is fully resolved and completely convinced in the rightness of his decision to end that war and majority of American people approve and stand firmly with him. Having such a firm resolve is the benefit of his political longevity and he will be rewarded with additional votes should he run again in 2024 because of this. It is the right thing to do and he did it, despite the pressure and for it ICHEOKU is grateful and thankful.
The world should take solace in that Taliban is just another form of governance and should accept the unshakeable fact that they have come back to power In Afghanistan. They were there before 9/11 and being there now should not make a whole of difference, if any. They should be accepted as the choice of majority of Afghanistan people, who cheered them on as they rolled through the territories and regional capitals of Afghanistan right into the presidential palace in Kabul. They met little to no resistance as they rolled, which shows that the Afghanis are on their side and supported their move against the President Ashraf Ghani's feeble government in Kabul. The world should bring them closer and work with them, in order to encourage them not to allow their territory to become a breeding ground for terrorists again. But should they open up their geographical space for terrorists to incubate, any attack linked to Afghanistan should be responded to with overwhelming fury.
So, until such an event occurs, the world must now cool down, recognize that there is an incontrovertible change of government in Kabul. A new sheriff is in town in Afghanistan and to deal with them in all matters affecting and concerning Afghanistan, is what they must do. For those who are saying that they will not recognize a government which fought its way into power, ICHEOKU says will like to remind them that there are so many governments in the world which similarly fought their way into power, including through military coups. Uganda's President Museveni Yoweri, Myanmar's military junta and Mali's Assimi Goita are few examples. There are also so many other governments in the world that were not democratically elected such as China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, North Korea etc; yet the world still deals with them. How is the Taliban any different since "Taliban-ism" is just another form of government in addition to democracy, theocracy, monarchy, dictatorship, republican etc. #AshrafGhaniFled.

HAITI: A NATION CURSED, TORTURED AND TORMENTED?
"Slowly, strongly and for very long seconds the earth shook in Haiti on 14 August, 2021 around 8:30 am"; and in its aftermath, 304 people perished and 1,800 others were injured, and several buildings including hospitals and churches were damaged and destroyed.
ICHEOKU says this was how a commentator described the latest earthquake to hit Haiti barely one month after President Jovenel Moise was assassinated inside his own bedroom in his own home in Port-au-Prince. So, how much can any nation really take and absorb being hounded by so many forces, including Mother Nature and some Western nations which are still punishing it for daring to declare their independence from France and humiliatingly defeating the French army.
Haven't Haiti suffered enough already that the Western countries should have some compassion on them and help them to, in fact, finally and truly get on their feet. It is not about getting "back" on their feet because they were never on their feet; it is about making it possible for them to at last finally get on their feet standing. Even resettling them somewhere should also be an actionable option as Canada is under populated and America still have so many swaths of uninhabited lands. Better still, if only African countries had their acts together, resettling Haitians in motherland African continent would have been the best possible solution to their never ending back to back catastrophes which continues to plague the Caribbean Island nation.
They did not ask to be taken out of Africa forcibly and dumped in their present location 400 years ago when slavery was abolished, but it is the hand which fate had dealt them. But it is a fixable problem which resettlement can solve if only there is the will to do so. Although some of them might buck at such an offer, but at least let those willing to be relocated be moved out of the Island and in that way help have a permanent fix to the recurring disasters which have rendered the country nearly paralyzed and completely dysfunctional. It was only in 2010 that a devastating earthquake struck the country, killed 300,000 people, injured 250,000 more, destroyed nearly all the meagre infrastructures. They are still suffering the effect as funds raised to help them rebuild met some unsavory end in the hands of the Clintons who were appointed to supervise it.
They are reeling from that 2010 earthquake and other disastrous hurricanes when their president was assassinated last July 7th, 2021 and now a little over one month later, August 14, 2021, the Island nation has once again been pulverized by a devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake. An earthquake stronger than the 2010 but which have so far killed only about 10% of the casualty figure of 2010 as more bodies are likely to be unearthed underneath the rubbles. From the Haitian government update, 304 bodies have been recovered with many more feared still buried and trapped underneath the rubbles; 1,800 people sustained all manners of injuries, many buildings including hospital, churches, hotels and homes were damaged and destroyed as well.
ICHEOKU says it is about time a constructive solution is found to mitigate the recurring decimal that is Haiti on its back, lying prostrate, with no hope of ever attaining greatness because each time they try to get up, one disaster always comes calling to abort whatever effort that was being made to stand the country up on its two feet. Even their presidential palace which was damaged in the 2010 earthquake and later demolished has not yet been rebuilt, eleven long years after. It was most likely for this reason, that the killers of President Jovenel Moise easily had their way penetrating his private home in Port-au-Prince. It would not have been that easy killing a president inside a presidential palace except it was a palace coup carried out by the same presidential security guard charged with his protection details.
Be that as it may, the usual sloganeering which always follows disasters in Haiti is no longer enough. It cannot remain the usual refrain of "recovering as many survivors as possible" and "helping Haiti to rebuild", because it never happens and once the news cameras are turned out, such promises go out the window. Haiti's life by its nature is forever "a challenging time" and has remained so throughout its existence. Therefore the usual handouts is no longer sufficient in addressing the Haitian problem. Even their ancestors' blood being strong to keep them rising right back up following every disaster is equally no longer enough. More needs to be done towards finding a lasting solution to the Haiti's problems. In some cultures, divinities and oracles would have been consulted to see what curse Haiti is under as not even their co-island neighbor, Dominican Republic, sees anything near half the problems of Haiti.
Something needs to be done about Haiti because the country has suffered enough and needs to be helped. Please dear God, if the people of Haiti did something terribly wrong before thine eyes or are being punished for the iniquities of their forebears to the third generation, show them mercy and forgive them for they have suffered enough. To our Haitian brethren and friends, our prayers are with you as you face yet again another disastrous wrath of Mother Nature, an unwanted gift which keeps on giving bountifully. If only America could invest even half of the resources it spends in "building nations" in far away countries, thousands of miles away from the American Western Hemisphere, such as in Iraq and Afghanistan, in its "backyard", Haiti will not be in such dire strait it is in. The rickety structures in the Island not built to standards also does not help matters when earthquakes and hurricanes strike.
But regardless, a country already supine can only get more desolate with each disaster pelting it, making it impossible for it to ever get up. Unfortunately, Haiti's black lives does not seem to matter either to BLM or Western powers, particularly the United States of America, which does not pay as much attention to the countries in its immediate backyard of the Caribbean as it expends thousands of miles away. It is about time America started worrying more about countries in its neck of the wood and help them stabilize fully. Imagine what the $700 million spent on the soon to be abandoned Kabul building could have done in Haiti. But no, Haiti does not matter and if at all, not enough to be worthy of such an investment despite that charity is supposed to begin from home; and the Caribbean is nearer home to America than Kabul or Baghdad. It should not be only when a country "sponsors, harbors and trains" terrorists that they should matter and deserving of some "nation building".
It is sad how that Caribbean Island nation of Haiti has been treated or rather neglected by successive United States of American governments, American companies and the general American business community. Imagine how many Haitians who will be fully gainfully employed if all the American companies shipping jobs overseas to China and India had redirected their offshoring activities into Haiti. Imagine the transformation that would have been seen in Haiti if the American government decided to do some real "nation building" in Haiti as it did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Haiti deserves better and if they are intentionally being blackballed for disgracing the French army, it is time to let the past lie in the past where they belong. America should lift the discrete sanction against Haiti and treat them as a neighbor and member of the Western Hemisphere under America's supreme control. May the souls of the Haitians' earthquake dead now rest.

NO IMPEACHMENT FOR CUOMO, HE IS "NO LONGER IN OFFICE": HOW ABOUT TRUMP?
ICHEOKU says the New York State Assembly said that it is suspending or rather dropping the impeachment investigation against Governor Andrew Cuomo because it is no longer necessary to impeach a governor who has resigned his office and that the legislature does not have authority to impeach an official who no longer holds office. According to them, the constitution of New York State bars impeaching a governor who has already resigned from office; and the language of the constitution did not contemplate impeachment when removal from office is not the central issue for determination.
Therefore, the impeachment inquiry against Governor Andrew Cuomo is no longer needed and will be dropped because the purpose of impeachment is "to determine whether or not he should remain in office", a matter which is now moot and overtaken by his resignation. The Democrats running the place now tells us that New York State's constitution does not allow the legislature to impeach an elected official who is no longer in office. Yet, the same people want us to believe that the United States of America's constitution is somewhat different from New York State's constitution in matters of impeachment and "specifically" allows the impeachment of a president who is no longer in office. Definitely interesting.
ICHEOKU says, it is yet another clear example of the double standards of the Democratic Party's liberal left, making it up as they go, and as it suits their objective. According to Senator Kennedy of Louisiana, these people will have no standard at all if it wasn't for double standards. Now, that Governor Andrew Cuomo has resigned his office, probably all his sins are immaculately washed away and everything is now honky dory. But President Donald John Trump served out his first term in office and was no longer in office when the same Democratic Party still impeached him just because they can (could). It is very sad to watch the Democratic Party invent, choose and pick, and selectively apply laws as it suits their political machination.
As every unbiased person knows, impeachment operates only as a disqualification tool against an official from remaining in office and also in more egregious cases, sometimes bans the said official from holding any future office. It therefore necessary follows that once an office holder who is impeachment-targeted is no longer in office, either by resignation or completion of term, that impeachment loses its sting. This is right with Governor Andrew Cuomo as presently correctly determined by the New York legislature; and it was also right with then President Donald John Trump. The only difference was that the Democratic Party decided to weaponize impeachment against the later just to damage him politically. It is wrong to use laws for political purposes and/or as a means to specifically achieve a desired end, regardless.
Anyway, ICHEOKU says will stay tuned to see how the Cuomo scandal eventually finally and fully resolves itself. It is likely that his resignation will be the magic silver bullet which will take care of all business since the primary objective of the gang up against him was to prevent him from challenging Joe Biden in the Democratic Party's primaries in 2024. They have harpooned him and his recovering from the grave wound will be difficult, if not impossible. Now that the book of impeachment, suspended or forever, has been closed, lets see if all other intended actions against him will be similarly put on ice, shelved. It is the Democratic Party machine and they do not show mercy in dispensing their poisonous brew. Governor Andrew Cuomo drank it and have gone into coma and the prognosis is not good.

IS AFGHANISTAN LOST? WHO CARES.
ICHEOKU says in answer to the question shouted at Joe Biden, who really cares if that desolate, tribal-treachery infested country is lost or not. But even as a devil's advocate, lost to who anyway since the Taliban and the government in Kabul are all Afghanis. They are merely two sides of the same coin, two contending ideological opposites battling for the soul of Afghanistan as is normally obtained in any two political party country. So, what use is it anyway and for what benefit is it to America, saving Afghanistan. They only know how to live in ruination and preferably so; so to ruination let them return of their own freewill. People who are largely caves and mountains rural dwellers, who prefer their ancient ways of doing things, should be allowed to exercise their God's given right and freedom to do so, case closed.
There is no use trying to impose a modern civilized western society on them, so, the West should indulge them and allow them to revert to their ancient ways. Enough of the expenses in blood and treasure in a place which does not deserve it and where the supposed beneficiaries, the Afghanis, are rather an ungrateful people. Recall that their former President Hamid Karzai, a closeted Taliban, accused American troops of committing war crimes and genocide against the Taliban. America has done more than enough protecting them and if it is not good enough for them, so be it. Like Joe Biden rightly said, it time for Afghanis to defend themselves and Joe Biden spoke for most people, including ICHEOKU.
Although ICHEOKU does not usually agree with Joe Biden, not a fan; but his putting his feet down on the matter of complete withdrawal of United States of American forces from Afghanistan is one foreign policy decision which he got absolutely right. It has nothing to do with partisan politics or the continuing disagreement with the manner he was installed in the White House last November 3rd, 2020. It is a commendable decision made in the best interest of every American, particularly those whose wards, sons and daughter, moms and dads, are in active service who have been rotating in and out of Afghanistan this past 20 years. It is also a good decision as it will stop the bleeding on America's treasury which have seen $2 trillion already melted away.
Although those who lost their loved ones in Afghanistan might be tempted to ask, why now and not much earlier before their loved ones were killed. To these Americans, ICHEOKU says there is never a time specific when to cut losses, but the important thing is that it was eventually done. Their loved ones did not die in vain as they died fighting for their country, admitted the mission objective was murky at best and not clearly spelt out. However, those who died before Osama bin Laden was killed, died absolutely for a reason; they were actively searching for the 9/11 terrorist mastermind who was eventually located and summarily dispatched to go meet his 70 virgins. That was when the "mission accomplished" would have been declared and the troops pulled out immediately back home.
Anyway, it is always better late than never and the fact that it was eventually done and being implemented is enough consolation. The decision will save more American families from experiencing such tragic loss of their own loved ones in that damnable place and avoidable war. ICHEOKU says America will stop getting into all these otherwise avoidable and needless wars the day the military draft will be re-instituted, so that everyone in America will begin to have a dog in any resulting fight. That way all those Washington DC war profiteers will be more circumspect before lobbying for any war somewhere around the planet, aware that their immediate family members, sons or daughters, will be in harm's way and possibly fall victim to an enemy's bullet or IED or other forms of bombing.
But the less privileged of the society constitute the bulwark of the soldiers and wasting 2,218 of them in just Afghanistan alone appears to be no "big deal" to these war profiteering and mongers in Washington DC; and you wonder if the departed loved ones agree and share that conclusion. An Afghanistan war that has cost American taxpayers $2 trillion, killed 2,312 American soldiers including a general, gravely wounded 20,66 other soldiers, many of who can never make full recovery to once again rejoin society as full functioning members of the society; is a war too expensive and which should have been ended a long time ago. So, it does not matter anymore if Afghanistan is lost or not, as that was not the primary mission objective of sending the troops into Afghanistan in 2001.
America did not go into Afghanistan to win or conquer Afghanistan. They went to find Osama bin Laden and they found him and killed him, case closed. Every other thing after that were mere propaganda spooned to continue milking the cow of American treasury by the war profiteers. It will be good if a commission is raised to investigate the Afghanistan war, both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Freedom's Sentinel because they reek of abject failure and corruption. A matter made even worse because some sources claim that about 40% of the $103 billion spent on reconstruction in Afghanistan went into private hands including insurgents, Taliban, war lords and government officials. It is also possible that similar statistics could be unearthed in the trillions of dollars spent on the war itself; begging the question, who got them?
ICHEOKU says where is the Afghanistan military and police force who American people were told "have been very effective in fighting the Taliban insurgent?" If they existed, why were they surrendering in droves to the Taliban without even, in some cases, firing a shot in defense of their homeland. Why are some of them even choosing to be executed by the Taliban upon surrender, rather than fight and die in defense of their country? Did managers of the war purposely lie to the American people about the progress of the war objective in order to keep the spigot of the treasury open and continuously flowing dollar bills into the war effort? Did they also lie about the preparedness of Afghanistan military in order to cover up the billions of dollars wasted in "training and equipping" them?
Is it possible that they did not care at all whether or not Afghanistan military were trained and equipped and ready to face the Taliban, as long as it provided them an avenue to continue making money and turning profits for their war corporations masters. If an American military trained Afghanistan military could so easily, without any serious resistance, fold up like cardboard in the face of the Taliban, what does it say about the quality of military training which they received? Was it that they were not trained properly or that those who were trained are members of Taliban which explains the easy with which they routed the real Afghanistan military. Which one is it, because the quality of America military training is now implicated and thus indicted as a result of the rapid collapse of the Afghanistan military which they trained.
Who is to blame; the teacher or the student or did the teacher teach the wrong student? How could anybody explain the speed at which the Taliban is sweeping across Afghanistan, with the Afghanistan military deserting their duty posts, surrendering their arms and weapons, including US Humvees which the Taliban are driving around and into battle fields. Only a commission of inquiry can ferret out these answers and therefore one is called for. Congress should set up a commission of inquiry to look into what went wrong with Afghanistan. Twenty years, two trillion dollars, General Joseph Harry Greene killed, thousands of other war dead and wounded Americans, yet 300,000 American trained Afghanistan military could not defend and protect their country against less than 70,000 Taliban fighters. This cannot be flushed down the toilet and forgotten by accepting the impending, inevitable complete and total collapse of Afghanistan; otherwise, what was the point? It is a shame.

AFGHANISTAN: THEY ARE ALL TALIBAN.
ICHEOKU says the fact that the Afghanistan army is rapidly unraveling in the face of Taliban onslaught and exploits, taking swaths of territories, cities and provincial capitals from the government in Kabul forces, can only lead to one conclusion. The Afghanistan army are all Taliban and Taliban sympathizers and they are delighted at the promising prospect of reestablishing acute Islamism in Afghanistan. This is the only plausible explanation for why the Afghanistan military is folding as quickly as Taliban is exerting control over many territories throughout Afghanistan. Otherwise, a national army which has been training and preparing for such a time as is currently facing Afghanis, when the Taliban will make a play for power, should have put up a much better resistance than they are currently doing.
How can a rogue army be better trained, better equipped and better prepared than a national army and have also be better fighters as the rapidity of their territorial conquests have shown. The picture currently coming out of Afghanistan does not show the Afghanistan military in good light; it is either they are heavily compromised and giving comfort to the enemy, or they did not take their responsibilities of defending Afghanistan seriously. So, yes, Joe Biden is right and ICHEOKU supports his decision to empty Afghanistan of United States of America troops 100%. The defense of Afghanistan is the responsibility of those who own Afghanistan, the Afghanis. It is their country, their struggle, their regions, cities and provincial capitals; and yes, their people that need to be defended and by them. It is their responsibility as nobody can love Afghanistan more than Afghanis themselves.
But a place with centuries old tribal rivalries and treacheries is rapidly disintegrating along loose seams which the Taliban is using acute Islamism as a means to stitch it up as they gun for power. It seems that majority of Afghanis agree with the Taliban solution, the reason they are surrendering to the Taliban forces and openly welcoming them as they claim one city after another. The Taliban and the government teetering in Kabul are all Afghanistan people and in their battle for the hearts and minds of Afghanis, it seems the Taliban is winning. If a country of nearly 40 million people cannot raise enough army to defeat about 25,000 Taliban rebels, then something is definitely wrong somewhere. A matter made even worse because Afghanistan's immediate neighbors seem to like what Taliban is doing and you wonder why?
With Iran and Pakistan support, the government in Kabul would have easily routed the Taliban, so why are the two countries not giving support to President Ashraf Ghani's government and would rather stand aside and watch him toppled. Even Turkey's President Typp Recep Erdogan voluntary offer to send in troops to help protect some facilities including the airport has not been accepted to this day, why? So, what exactly is the game being played with the fate of Afghanistan or is everybody tired of President Ashraf Ghani and wants him gone. ICHEOKU agrees with the Pakistani government that there is a need to investigate the meltdown of Afghan security forces in the face of the Taliban exploits because it will reveal some complicity, if not outright sabotage. The reason a national army which has been training for more than 20years cannot stand up to a rag tag Taliban rebels, without a military base or formalized military training.
What happened to their capacity building, training, recruitment and military equipment which were freely supplied to them by the United States of America? Why the lack of will to fight and die for their country being shown by the Afghanistan army? What exactly was the negotiation with Taliban all about since it is now readily discernible that the only negotiation they possibly had was to allow America to withdraw before they completely take over the country. It is imperative that all their neighboring countries, including Iran and Pakistan, must rise up to stem the tide of the Taliban incursion because they have most to lose should Afghanistan completely implodes. Who is even supplying the Taliban with weapons and logistics; and how are they paying for them and their war effort?
These are some of the questions which will lead to solving the Taliban problem, rather than blaming America for finally pulling out of Afghanistan 20 years past due. There is nothing "hasty and unconditional" about the withdrawal of American troops and to blame the withdrawal for the Taliban success is simply being economical with the truth. If twenty years is hasty, then there will be no fighting men and women of majority of the world countries' army because most of them are usually below 20 years old. Afghanistan is behaving like a spoilt child who is used to being defended and protected by American troops and now is helpless to defend itself because it is used to being defended. Joe Biden is right, it is time for Afghanis to defend themselves and their country and there will be no change in plans or going back on the withdrawal. Afghanistan for Afghanis.

GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO FALLS ON HIS SWORD: ANOTHER VICTIM OF #METOO.
"Given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing and therefore, that's what I'll do."
ICHEOKU says with those words New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo finally jumped instead of waiting to be pushed and now, another victim of the raging war of #MeToo against men. It is an assured political death for the governor, baring any miraculous future comeback kid's phenomena. But it is doubtful if the forces after him who want to prevent him from challenging Joe Biden in 2024 Democratic Party's presidential primaries, will allow him to resurrect, at least not before 2024. Instead, they will take additional steps to keep him confined and contained, either through criminal prosecution or civil litigations by those eleven #MeToo nut jobs.
It is obvious what finally did it as his fight finally met a dead end. He was facing an increasingly tightening noose and a circle of defenders that have literally shrunk to just himself; and with no other leeway at sight, he chose to commit harakiri rather than have his enemies revel themselves in executing him through an impeachment. Why did he not hang in there a little longer and see if public opinion could shift or whether they will charge him for any crime and then have the opportunity to confront his accusers and cross examine the witnesses. But there is always so much any person can fight on before throwing in the towel, especially when it became apparently clear that it was an unwinnable battle, faced with the Democratic Party machine.
ICHEOKU says did he resign because he is a predator and guilty laden, cannot, with a straight face, continue to deny what those #MeToo 11 accused him of doing. In the alternative, could it be that he felt the battle is already lost, having been abandoned in the battle field by those he had expected to be there with him, fighting alongside and mano mano if need be. But when not even his brother, the CNN weight lifting superman, Chris Cuomo, was any place to be found, the handwriting on the wall became more clearly legible. It was rather surprising that despite the fact that the two brothers had a long running "Cuomo Brothers Clown" show on CNN, where mega-sized Q-tip was their preferred prop, that the younger Cuomo sat the scandal out. No wonder, the big nosed one decided to throw in the towel rather than continue to hope for a miracle of survival against the machine of his own political party.
ICHEOKU says when will these wild eyed, crazed out #MeToo feminists be stopped; or will they continue to steamroll over men as they choose and pick. When will the next man currently being secretly targeted by them be eventually uprooted? When Harvey Weinstein warned us all that men and women have their "different truths", that he was just being made the first example of what is yet to come; and that thousands of men will follow suit and for regenerations of things which he thinks no man understood, many men kept silent. Harvey concluded that he is confused and that men are confused about the issue and that there is an ongoing #MeToo crisis in the country; but men kept silent. Harvey was ignored and Governor Andrew Cuomo too, ignored him and probably chastised him for being a "dirty pig" who does not respect women, but molested and sexually harassed them.
Now, the governor, in hindsight must be lamenting if only he had paid attention to Harvey Weinstein grieving heart, and given him a benefit of the doubt when the #MeToo guillotine came for his neck. Unfortunately, that gene since left the bottle with Harvey Weinstein, thus making it impossible to ever cork it back in the bottle. ICHEOKU says has also been wondering why there is no #MenTOO movement as well or has no man ever been "sexually harassed" by a horny woman in heat. Could it be that boys don't tell and men don't kiss and tell; or are all the women of America, especially those in high places with power over some men, never acted out of sync. Has no woman ever propositioned any man or eyed a man amorously or ever touched a man's biceps, wishfully? All those men with six packs who religiously go to the gym, do they have anything to say about their experiences?
Anyway, however the Cuomo Crisis finally resolves, it is not yet too late for men to wake up and smell the coffee; and begin to find a way out of the logjam which #MeToo has placed them. It is unfortunate that the governor has now been forced out of office based on "different truths" and "confusions" and "understandings" of what means what to men and women. Women are winning the age long battle of the sexes which has been conveniently repackaged as #MeToo movement. Why are men putting up with this and not fighting back. What shall it take? To all the men out there, be advised that you might be the next one to bite the dust as the #MeToo bell of recrimination might be tolling for you without your hearing it. Just like the governor did not know when Harvey Weinstein was taken down that they will come after him some day, you might be the next oblivious target of those lurking in the shadows #MeToo avengers and destroyers of men, their families and their careers. Anyway, so long Governor Andrew Cuomo. #MeTooHeadCountRising.

IT'S A CULTURAL THING: I AM ITALIAN. - GOVERNOR CUOMO
ICHEOKU says like Dorothy said to Toto that she has a feeling that they are not in Kansas anymore, Governor Andrew Cuomo should have advised himself accordingly that the New York State governor's mansion is in Albany and not in Palermo or Sicily nor Roma. Therefore, those "Italian" special way of conducting "meet and greet" should have been checked at the door; or better still, left alone. Since it was not abandoned in the old country alongside other things "so very peculiar" to Italians, he should have just reserved it for only when meeting his Italian folks. That everybody loves pizza, the Sopranos, Ferrari and other great gifts which Italians gave the world, does not mean that everything Italian must therefore be thrown in the bag.
To plant kisses on non Italians without first finding out if it was an acceptable manner of "meet and greet" to them, is somewhat forcing every head into a one cap fits all. It was an Italian hospitality and endearment gone too far; and it is doubtful if he would have personally liked to be greeted in a manner which some other peculiar cultures greet themselves. For example, some cultures greet people by prostrating fully, belly on the ground and forehead touching the ground. In some cultures too, a man shows how much he loves his visitor by offering them his wife for the night. So, should we all now start exhibiting our peculiar cultures just because that is the way it was in our respective old countries.
How about the melting pot America or are some cultures finding it difficult to blend into the brew. The governor should probably stop talking and speaking on the matter facing him now and hire a professional spokes person and public relations expert to do the talking on his behalf, going forward. A statement that he is Italian, the reason he kisses people, rubs people on the wrong side. It is a cheeky cheap attempt to wriggle out of whatever logjam he is currently in with those #MeToo restless souls out to take him down. How about some cultures which strictly forbids such contact between people who are not in marital or love relationship; or could he have dared plant kisses on a wife of a Taliban or even any Muslim.
Going forward, the governor should start practicing a "safe meet and greet", the acceptable manner of greeting in a multi cultural society America, with people from diverse cultures, many of which does not see kissing as a way of greeting or even saying hello, talk-less of an expression of affectionate and show of endearment to total strangers in a work environment. Although coronavirus Dr Anthony Fauci has banned handshakes, just saying hello or waving from a respectful social distance will as well suffice until such time that the good old doctor will in his infinite mercy lift the ban on handshake.
ICHEOKU says fully understands Governor Andrew Cuomo's position that he did not mean any harm to these women, but acted innocently. That should be the extent of giving him the benefit of doubt but he should not labor to explain himself any further, either justifying what happened or reasoning with the public about it. Those women said that they are not happy that he cheek-kissed them, he has apologized and the rest of the people should move on and leave the process play itself out. There is nothing more to see there, except the political hit job which is much in play, geared towards forcing the governor out of contention for the 2024 Democratic Party's presidential primaries.
Hopefully, the court will finally have an opportunity to sit in judgment over the allegations and resolve them however they see fit. Until then, Governor Andrew Cuomo remains innocent until proved guilty, except that the political machination might have him removed before we can reach the threshold of a court's pronouncement on the matter. It is sad what his coronavirus fame has done to him, rising to relative obscurity of just a New York State governor to a Pandemic Hero of the left and now being dragged through the sewer of sexual harassment allegation which eventually might seal his fate as governor of New York. But hey, the liberal left can devour themselves for all any conservative cares. It is their bed and as they made it, so will they lie on it.

BARACK OBAMA AT 60: CONGRATULATIONS.
ICHEOKU says there is an uncanny resemblance in the swag of his dancing steps with that of South Africa civil rights icon, the late President Nelson Mandela. Momentarily, ICHEOKU saw flashes of Nelson Mandela in Barack Obama as he took those steps towards H.E.R, holding a microphone in his right hand. He was splendid to say the least.
So, despite what naysayers say in condemnation of the birthday party, the Kenyan have accomplished so much in his lifetime to deserve being celebrated. At 60, he is gradually but surely heading there; so, every day and every year of his life going forward, should be memorialized as convenience permits. So, regardless of breaching all the coronavirus safety protocols of safe distancing, wearing a mask and avoiding large gatherings, Barack Obama has earned our respect and we wish him happy 60th birthday.
ICHEOKU says does not know why Erykah Badu breached a standing protocol, in defiance of warning not to let the little fellas of the world know about the gathering of the uber rich and world famous individuals at the behest of Barack Obama in Martha's Vineyard. Such act of betrayal and sabotage, which now makes Barack Obama look bad and inconsiderate to the suffering of millions of people, many of who are about to lose their homes due to unpaid rents, and also being anti coronavirus measures, will surely not go unpunished. It is certain that it will blackball her and disinvite her from any future celebrations involving the Obamas. Without her leaked video, nobody would have known what went down; but now, even Joe Biden, will be wondering why his former boss dealt his coronavirus gospel such an under belly blow.
But hey, the guy is looking good at 60 and also looked splendid in the nearly one thousand dollars Fendi floral shirt. Anyway, congratulations Barack Obama and hopefully there was no coronavirus delta variant that successfully crashed the party, uninvited. Hillary Clinton was conspicuously absent at the shindig, possibly she was part of the scaled down and scaled out crowd who did not make the final cut. Not even Kamala Harris was there and they could have used the opportunity to inhale together and freely pass blunts back and forth since it is legalized in Massachusetts. Also, a covered tent is an enclosure and easily qualifies as an indoor event, a Dr Fauci's acknowledged well known super spreader source, but let us pray that their vaccinations held up and did not permit any breakthroughs. #Obama@t60.
TOKYO 2020 OLYMPICS ENDS: PREPARATIONS FOR PARIS 2024 BEGINS.
ICHEOKU says now that the Olympics flame have been put out in Tokyo, the world now awaits until it is lit again in Paris 2024. Hopefully, by then there will be a real party in Paris without the hangman noose of the Chinese coronavirus still hovering around the world. However, the Tokyo 2020 Olympics succeeded far beyond every expectations imaginable; and would have even succeeded more had spectators been allowed in the venues and arenas, wearing masks. Anyway, it is now done and dusted as the world moves on with its other many challenges. The count down to Paris 2024 has now officially begun.
ICHEOKU says congratulations to all the participants from all over the world who braved it to Tokyo. Some countries didn't, as they backed out of Tokyo due to fear of the Chinese contagion. While winning medals counts, the reason d`etre of the Olympics is to bring the world humanity together in celebration of sports. This essence was significantly accomplished, although somewhat subdued because of the coronavirus pandemic and for this the 2020 Tokyo Olympics was successful.
Particular congratulations to the United States of America contingent for coming atop the medal haul with a total of 113 medals including 39 gold, 41 silver and 33 bronze. It is a well earned bragging right that China was eventually put in its place and told not too fast, in their effort to overtake and replace America as the "new it" country of record. China's 88 medals including 38 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze placed them in second place on the medal table.
Anyway, to Paris the world goes next and congratulations to the Japanese for hosting a successful Olympics despite the constraints of the coronavirus pandemic. So long Tokyo, hello welcome Paris.

CANADA'S WOMEN SOCCER GOLD MEDAL: BLACKS AND PROUDLY GAY TRANS POWER.
ICHEOKU says as Canada celebrates its women national soccer team's gold medal win at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics women soccer game, it is important to also celebrate particularly the many black gals as well as transgendered women who helped make the feat possible. A team which featured five black players and five transgendered women, one of which is also black, as well as a proudly gay lesbian coach is a team that should indeed celebrate its diversity.
It is also racially encouraging that Canada with less than 6% black population had that many blacks featured in its national team, compared to the United States of America with far greater percentage of blacks, which practically fielded just only one black player, the irrepressible Crystal Dunn, throughout the game.
ICHEOKU says republished the article below following in view of the many black women who played in the Canadian team at the Tokyo Olympics women soccer finals with Sweden. It is definitely a sure sign that things are improving racially in Canada or they were simply the best players available which left the coaching crew with no option but to field them. They also displayed a level of soccer brilliance, masterly and artistry that they outclassed the competition.
Anyway, congratulations to the Canadians on their gold medal win. In beating Sweden 3:2 on penalty kicks, they consolidated their wins by beating a team which beat the United States of America 3:0, which they also beat; thus making them the indisputable champions of Tokyo Olympics women soccer game. Canada earned its gold medal deservedly. Once again, congratulations.
CANADA MADE ME BLACK - YAMRI TADDESE.
The first time someone called me the n-word, it literally stopped me in my tracks. I was a student journalist at the University of Toronto. It was spring, 2009. I had just come running out of St. George subway station, late for an interview. I had a deadline that same evening. I came to a halt when I heard the word. There stood a white man on the sidewalk, inexplicably furious at me. I stopped for a few seconds, long enough to look directly in his face and then I kept on running.
I mentioned the incident to my father that night after dinner. "Oh yes," he said, suddenly recalling something he had apparently forgotten. "Someone called me a n--gger earlier today too." I was stunned. He had been riding the subway when a white woman walked in and told him she wanted to sit on the chair beside him, where he had placed a shopping bag. When he picked up the bag and told the woman she may sit, she told him she wasn't asking for his permission and called him the racial slur. I wasn't sure if I was more horrified by the story or the nonchalant way my father told it. There was no surprise in his tone, as if this was to be expected. To me, he had only ever been Dad. But in that moment, I saw him as a Black man, burdened with all the prejudices that entails. It was deeply disquieting.
The story of how I became Black is also a story about Canada. It's not always pretty — it's not the story Canada likes to tell about itself. But it's a story that needs to be told. I moved to Toronto from Ethiopia at 15, just a few years before the incident outside St. George Station. Life back home had taught me about differences along gender, class, religious and ethnic lines, but the nuance of racial difference was lost on me. In Addis Ababa, having enough money and familial status and coming from a privileged ethnicity matter. Men and older folks are also afforded greater respect. People offer my father their seats when he walks into a room because he's an older man. But since everyone is Black, nobody really is.
So, when I came to Canada, I did not think much about being Black. I was largely oblivious to stereotypes about Black people, often asking people to explain their racist jokes to me. It felt as though people expected me to know my place and I sincerely had no idea where this place was.Anyone would agree that what happened to me and my father is vile. Being called a racial slur was jarring and scary, but since coming to Canada this isn't the kind of racism I've come to know and resent.
I've met people who deny the fact that they benefit from white privilege. They get to move through society with unseen advantages, without being prejudged. Anti-blackness has caught me off-guard, in moments when I assumed consensus on my belonging in Canadian society. I was baffled when security guards followed me around the office building I often worked out of, and they later complained to management about how loud I was when I confronted them. I felt the sting when, at an Easter mass in a downtown Toronto church, I reached out my arm to receive the offering plate but the woman who sat beside me skipped over me and my Black friend to pass the plate on to the next white person.
I was snubbed yet again at a professional mixer when I dared complain about the weather — a most Canadian of habits — and someone who stood beside me said "You'd think African immigrants would be more grateful."
Even as Canada actively thrusts a racial identity on people like me, this country often denies it is doing so. Black people are gaslighted when we talk about discrimination. Too many people suggest we're making it all up in our minds. Every "That couldn't happen here" or "I don't believe that, we're a welcoming nation" pushes forward a volatile legacy. The more vehemently our society denies its anti-blackness, the more entrenched I fear the issue is.
In my late teens, I prided myself on being a walking stereotype-buster. I felt I was doing all of us Black folks a favour when I demonstrated that I am in fact intelligent and lovable. Now, I know that was naïve. I am no longer preoccupied with being likeable just so people won't say I'm an angry, aggressive Black woman. Appeasing racists is exhausting. This impossible task should be no Black person's responsibility, no matter how frequently society insists it is.
When I told a Black friend about the experiences I'm sharing here, he wryly pointed out that at least no one ended up dead. He was only half joking. As far as experiences with anti-blackness go, it's tempting to say mine are pretty mild. I don't think experiences like mine should be considered mild. I understand the source of this sentiment, but the ubiquity of Black death in the news cannot mean that is where we draw the line. The standards should be higher.
It's true that for me, a part of being Black on this side of the world has been about constantly grieving the deaths of people I've never met. I learned about Andrew Loku, Sandra Bland, Philando Castile, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice and many others after they became a hashtag, but I mourn their deaths still. Each time a video of police killing a Black person surfaces online, I'm caught in the see-saw of anger and heartache. But this is only part of the story. Being Black has also been about feeling alone in my sorrow and frustration in classrooms and boardrooms, spaces where I am often the only Black person. It's about consistent isolation and second guessing.
Yet, despite the initial shock and consistent prejudice, becoming Black in Canada has also been about a new and profound belonging. I have found a community of Black women — on- and offline — who define themselves and affirm one another. These women validate my stories and offer me courage because they refuse not to bloom. It's in this communion that I have found the joy and beauty of Blackness. It was in the reflection of their light that I saw myself, Blackness and all.
Although I still refuse to "know my place," I've found sacred spaces where I am both embraced and encouraged to make room for myself everywhere. The story of how I became Black is also a story about Canada. It's not always pretty and it's not the story Canada likes to tell about itself. But it's a story that needs to be told.
(FYi: The original title of this article first published in 2017 was "I didn't know I was black until I moved to Canada.")

TOKYO OLYMPICS USWNT'S BRONZE MEDAL: THE GALS SHOWED UP AT LAST.
ICHEOKU says it was such an exceptional performance that it was in fact gold medal deserving; and you wonder why they saved their best for last especially when it would have yielded them the gold. It was the type of performance which USA women national soccer team is known for, a world class, gold winning team's performance. But it came a little too late as it only yielded them the bronze medal and not the gold medal, because they second-guessed themselves when it would have mattered most. But a half loaf is better than no loaf at all; and we should deem it a case of "a medal is a medal" and celebrate their achievement as golden.
The gals finally showed up at the Tokyo Olympics and asserted themselves as the indisputable reigning champions, admitted playing for a third place. They showed Australia the kind of display which was lacking in their first encounter with them as well as Sweden and Canada. The Aussies also put up a nice display to prove that they are not an easy walkover and nearly forced the match into extra time. It was a beautiful game and the goals poured in 4:3, to the admiration of fans both in the United States of America and down under in Australia. Both teams should be proud of themselves for the stellar show which they put up, as they made their both countries very proud of them.
All the goals were brilliant, although the purple haired lesbian's second goal did it for ICHEOKU. It was both dashing and smashing; and in fact, reminded every soccer loving fan why they are addicted to the round leather game. It also sealed her record as a very intelligent goal scorer and if she retires now, as many expect she would do, the two goals which she scored against Australia to help USWNT win the third place bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will be among her soccer playing career best. ICHEOKU says will congratulate Megan Rapinoe for "manning" up or rather "womanning" up and leading team USA women soccer to a medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when all hope were nearly lost following the 3:0 trouncing by Sweden in their first game. ICHEOKU had criticized her then and by the same token, as an equal opportunity critic, will now congratulates her as well.
While all the players played their hearts out, ICHEOKU will particularly mention a formidable and in fact, the best player of the team as far as ICHEOKU is concerned. Crystal Dunn, who literarily commands every position she was assigned to, be it forward, midfield or defense is an awesome soccer player. In short, that gal is so dangerous and a complete menace to any opposing side, admitted she does not get the coverage and encomiums which she rightly deserves, having rightly earned same. She is formidable, fearless and ruthless; and she continuously fights for every ball from the first whistle to the last whistle, whether or not a game went into extra time. May be the color of her skin has something to do with why she does not get premium coverage, but her skill and strength compares to no other in the team.
Carli Lloyd also deserves a specific mention too, both for her two goals in the match and for setting a new record as the most scoring member of USWNT. At 39 years old, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will definitely be her last appearance too as retirement should now be the natural next step for her to take. So, her last outing registered resoundingly. ICHEOKU says had previously called for coach Vlatko Andonovski to be fired following the Sweden disastrous outing and the team's struggling through the rest of their matches until now. But since he had promised that USWNT will do everything possible not to leave Tokyo without a medal and has now delivered, this performance has purchased him a new lease of life. As a result, the earlier call for him to be fired is now placed on hold as he continues to fine-tune the team back to the gold winning team which he inherited from former golden Coach Jill Ellis.
Anyway, congratulations to the ladies, their coach, his assistants and members of their management team for not leaving Tokyo without a medal. Although their usual gold medal would have been preferred, but their having risen from the ashes of the Sweden drubbing to still get a medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics makes the medal somewhat special and in fact, good enough. It is a case of where a medal is a medal, no matter its color. They played their hearts out and they fought gallantry and therefore deserves our gratitude. Congratulations to United States Women National Team. FYI: Just an aside, that Megan Rapinoe's hair color looks to ICHEOKU as purple and not pink, except it is a special shade of pink. #ProudlyUSWNT.

IRAN SWEARS IN A NEW PRESIDENT.
ICHEOKU says as the Islamic Republic of Iran swears in their new President Ebrahimi Raisi, is there any expectation that the foreign policy direction of Iran will change or is it going to remain same old, same old that kept the country at loggerhead with the Western world. But in a theocracy where the absolute and ultimate power rests with the religious spiritual head, the Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the new president can only pray that he will be allowed more leeway to stride, as he can only stray as far as permitted and authorized.
Anyway, let us be hopeful that he will find a way to achieve some of the expectations of the Iranian people who elected him into office and also improve Iran's relationship with the West. ICHEOKU says congratulations to the newly sworn in Iranian President Ebrahimi Raisi. It is a new day in Iran.
GOVERNOR CUOMO: JOE BIDEN DID THE SAME THING.
ICHEOKU says how is what Governor Andrew Cuomo is accused of doing any different from what Joe Biden did? It exposes the #MeToo hypocrisy, a fallacy of selectivity, depending on the agenda in focus. Governor Cuomo must therefore not yield to their call to resign nor quit by his own freewill and volition. He should let the New York House of Assembly do their worse by carrying out their threat of impeaching him.
That way, the legislators will be responsible for his exit and not that he was turned tail and succumbed to a cajoled resignation. It is unfair to punish a man simply because some women made some allegations. Justice Brett Kavanaugh is in the Supreme Court today simply because he weather through his own #MeToo storm.
ICHEOKU says the governor should fight until the very end and if the legislature impeaches him, so be it. That way it will not be him that committed the harakiri but the legislators who dealt him the Brutus stab. What he is facing is not an eleven angry #MeToo nut jobs but a Democratic Party machine that wants to besmirch him and make him too blemished to run for president in 2024 and they are hell bent on achieving it. It is a fall out from his stratospherically risen profile, after becoming their Pandemic Hero of 2020; and now stands as the most popular candidate to beat in the Democratic Party's 2024 presidential primaries. It is sad.

BELIEVE GOVERNOR CUOMO: EQUITY DEMANDS THAT MEN TOO, BE BELIEVED.
ICHEOKU says it is all about 2024, period. They want him gone now in order to get him out of the way and clear the way for a Joe Biden's second term run, thats all. Everything which he is being accused of by those #MeToo 11 and for which he has now been "investigated" by the New York Attorney General, happened before the 2020 presidential election cycle, so why now? Why did these 11 women wait until now, post Joe Biden installation in the White House, to bring their accusations or did they suddenly find their mojo. Is their simply saying so automatically make it so?
Why are these women being believed when many women have lied in the past about their encounters with men. Even the Duke Lacrosse woman later confessed that she made the story of her rape by those university students up. Why lynch the governor based on statements which were not interrogated by cross examination nor in any other way collaborated. Why believe the women but not believe the governor; or are women now the only paragon of truth and that whatever they say happened, automatically did in fact happen. Even the Biblical Potiphar's wife in Genesis 39 falsely accused Joseph of sexual harassment and rape, for which he was imprisoned and later beheaded as a birthday gift for her daughter.
Making up stories did not start today and will not end tomorrow as some nasty women use sexual harassment as a weapon of choice whenever they have a score to settle with some men. So, instead of trying to force the governor out from office based on statements by these women, why not at least put their statements through a forensic examination by indicting the governor. Then, his lawyers can have the opportunity to test these women and the other "79 witnesses" veracity for truthfulness through cross examination.
The governor is being accused of "kissing" women, but Joe Biden probably have kissed many more women than Andrew Cuomo ever did; so why is Joe Biden not equally being investigated and asked to resign? Even when Tara Reade courageously raised her own #MeToo red flag against Joe Biden, she was shut down, completely ignored and nobody ever bothered to investigate her accusation nor forcefully demanded that Joe Biden resigned as a result. So, what changed and why is Governor Andrew Cuomo receiving a different treatment from that received by Joe Biden.
Further, imagine the speed with which they concluded the governor's "investigation", when United States Attorney John Durham's investigation of the Russian Collusion, which started very much earlier than the Governor Andrew Cuomo's investigation, is practically moribund or to say the least, on a snail-speed ice cold to no where.
They used the governor as a pandemic weapon against President Donald John Trump and now they want to dump him because he is standing in the way of Joe Biden's 2024 wishes. He was celebrated and honored as the Democratic Party's "pandemic hero" who stood up to "Trump's lies" and who creditably served and saved New Yorkers from the devastating coronavirus pandemic. He was once their emblem of a successful leadership in a time of crisis, one who showed President Donald John Trump and the Republicans how to be a responsible and respected leader. According to one writer, Governor Andrew Cuomo's political stature shot through the roof when democrats were searching for pandemic heroes to present to American people leading up to the 2020 presidential election and settled for the governor.
So, in a way, they created the "Frankenstein monster" who is threatening their Joe Biden's 2024 rerun and they had to take him down. It is for the governor to continue to fight, admitted the amassed army against him looks insurmountable as they will use whatever tool in their toolbox to get him neutered. The irony of the whole thing is their refusal to charge him to court with whatever crime they unearthed through their investigation. Instead, they are using political pressure to force him out and if that fails, to use their New York State legislature to impeach him.
ICHEOKU says does not for how long the governor can hang in there, but so far, he has shown that he is really a tough Yankee, who is not easily pushed around and will not be pushed over without a fight. He has defended his right to be a man as he has remained adamant to the call for his resignation, and to the chagrin of the hound dogs who want him gone. But for how long will he persevere, except there is a recourse of law which would allow him to obtain an injunction against any possible impeachment? How else could the governor inoculate himself from these rabid hyenas who want to have his political career for lunch. What other options are available or has he ran the full course of his resistance to the Democratic Party machine's plan to put him down and cast him away.
Anyway, ICHEOKU says all the best to Governor Andrew Cuomo as he really needs it, now that he has in fact met a real impossible mountain to climb, with no hope of ever reaching the other side. The Democratic Party is somewhat a hierarchical cult with no room or tolerance for real freedom as members must do as told or they stand condemned, pilloried and alienated. For them, any means that reaches a desired end is always good enough, as the end always justifies the means. It is sad that Governor Andrew Cuomo is being cleverly taken out of the 2024 Democratic Party's presidential race, under the guise of "sexual harassment" of some 11 #MeToo women.
They want to force him out and should the governor resign today, all his "sins" will be automatically washed away and nobody will ever mention them again. Even the threatened possible prosecution of him by the four counties in New York will also miraculously disappear as well. It is a political hatchet job, the reason they are pushing him to resign with a threatened impeachment be swayed over his head like the Sword of Damocles. As everybody knows, political intrigues come in different dimensions and his are coming through 11 #MeToo rebels. It is sad that #MenToo are not believed as well. Why is the discrimination or is truthfulness now gender biased?
