GUN VIOLENCE IN AMERICA: FOR WHO THE BELL TOLLS NEXT.

Just five people shy of Sandy Hook elementary school mass shooting incident that claimed 26 lives, the Uvalde Texas Robb elementary school mass shooting at 21 victims, now ranks among the highest grossing gun carnage in America. It is sad that such frequent blood spilling has tragically become part of our culture as a society. May the souls of the killed now rest.

RAYSHARD BROOKS KILLED BY POLICE IN ATLANTA, DID EVERYTHING WRONG.

ICHEOKU says unfortunately he has now become a statistic in the number of black people killed by the police in the United States of America, but he somewhat actively courted his cruel fate. Unlike George Floyd who did nothing to instigate his death, the reason his killing resonated throughout the world, Rayshard Brooks precipitated his own demise. But his actions should not in anyway excuse the police use of excessive lethal force. He should not have been killed regardless, but he is now dead and all anyone can do now is to engage in the proverbial Monday Night Quarterbacking, but hindsight is always too late.

Rayshard Brooks went against the grain of every teachings which black people are given, mostly by their parents, on how to ensure that they stay alive each time they have an encounter with the police. He ignored them and it cost him dearly. He did exactly the opposite of the things he should not have done and it ended tragically in the loss of his life, the same thing which the teachings were meant to avoid. Black people are taught to be respectful to the police, to listen to their commands as attentively as they give them,  obey the the police, not to resist police arrest, not to fight with the police, not to go for police weapons and not run from the police. They are asked to see their behavior as the only thing that will determine whether they live or die each time the police makes contact with them.

But Rayshard Brooks, either because he was disorientated or under the influence, forgot the guide of staying alive and with it threw away his life. He was disrespectful to the police, he did not listen to their command, he did not obey the police, he resisted arrest, he fought with the police, he took their weapon and he ran from the police. To make matters worse, he pointed the very weapon which he took from them at them and he discharged it. It does not matter that the weapon was a taser gun and could not have killed the police as his deductible intention was to disable and incapacitate the pursuing officer in order to enable him get away from their pursuit. Yes indeed, had the taser struck the policeman, it would have incapacitated him momentarily and Brooks would have escaped. Rayshard Brooks would have still fired the weapon were it a real gun as firing of the taser supplied such intent and his preoccupation was to avoid capture.

Further, Rayshard Brooks was driving drunk and/or operating a vehicle under the influence and the fact that he was at a stop when the confrontation began does not negate this fact. The operative test is whether the vehicle was under his control while inebriated wit intention to move it from one place to another. The answer is yes because a drive through at a Wendy's restaurant is not his garage nor driveway or any other parking lot or spot.  Therefore he was actively engaged in the driving and operation of a motor vehicle while drunk or under the influence of some habituates or other intoxicants which incommoded his safe operation of the vehicle. It is a criminal behavior and a vehicle is a deadly weapon for purposes of grounding liability, although one of his lawyers appears not to know this consequential fact when he disputed on CNN that his client's dead father had no deadly weapon.

So, in addition to driving or operating a vehicle under the influence, Rayshard Brooks also resisted arrest, fought with the police, stole police weapon, ran from the police and then discharged the weapon at the police in hot pursuit. As a black man in America, he would be alive today if only he had listened to all the teachings on what to do when in contact with the police. But he did all the things which he should not do, any of which would have still been sufficient for the police to shoot him as they often do to black people. He triggered the police and contributed to his being shot because he should have known better and behaved as if his life depended on it. It is unfortunate that another black person has to die in the hands of the police for no rational reason at all; admitted the victim facilitated it through bad behavior.

But that be that as it may, it is a shame that two policemen could not hold just one black man down on the ground and long enough to subdue and handcuff him. It is also pitiful that one of the policeman was so careless to allow his taser gun to be taken by the now deceased Rayshard Brooks. Also, the policeman should not have discharged his gun three times at a fleeing Rayshard Brooks, but should have remained in pursuit while help arrived to help apprehend the fleeing suspect. He acted recklessly and was too quick to discharge his gun at the back of a fleeing suspect, aware that the suspect is fatigued and will not run very far before being caught. As a trained police officer, he also knows the limited lethality of a taser gun and that his life was not overly in danger, so he cannot say that he was afraid for his life and fired in self defense.

ICHEOKU says although it is quite obvious that Rayshard Brooks fired the taser at the policeman because he wanted to incapacitate the officer in order to facilitate his escape from the hot pursuit. But what is within the knowledge of the officer that taser has a very limited impact, is what is paramount here; so he should not have used bullets to counter a man who was firing taser at him. He was too quick to pull his gun and it has now cost him his job and possibly soon his freedom when convicted. It has also cost the Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields her job, who was forced to resign as a result. It also cost Wendy's a store which was burnt down by angry black people who were mad that another black person was killed by the police at a Wendy's lot, although ICHEOKU is still wondering what Wendy's culpability in the shooting was all about?

ICHEOKU says does not think the police chief should have resigned, afterall the police chief in Minneapolis is still on his job despite all the killings by the police, including George Floyd, in that Minnesota State city. Also, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms was too quick in firing the officer and would have ordered his suspension from active duty pending further investigation. But the urgency she displayed is understandable as she wanted to placate a restive Atlanta majority black crowd who would have destroyed more things in a riot demanding for action. It was the delay by Minneapolis authorities over the George Floyd's murder that actually triggered the protests and riots that followed, after the people waited endlessly for the arrest of the involved policemen without any movement by the authorities. This was what the Atlanta Mayor sought to avoid and she succeeded.

Anyway, the main problem with policing in America is that ex military people do a job which civilians should be doing. Most of the people usually hired as policemen and women are former battle tested soldiers who are trained to kill. Soldiers are trained to kill but not to amicably resolve disputes and conflicts. They only know how to escalate but not deescalate situations, hence their killer instinct usually goes into overdrive whenever they are faced with situations. Many of them do not know about conflict resolution or how to patiently lower down the charged tense atmosphere. Their training equip them to neutralize the subject as quickly as possible and such a habit is hard to get rid of. It is all in their reflexes and the short police academy training is not sufficient to override the killer instinct in them, which they learnt at various military forts and which they used for most of their life before rejoining civilian life.

So as the nation continues to explore ways of reforming the police, they should seriously consider hiring only civilians as police to do the civilian job of policing. If they must hire ex military, to ensure that they are trained sufficiently well to inculcate in them the right, proper and correct way of defusing tensions, instead of just shooting the trouble away by quickly neutralizing the subject.

Hopefully other black people in America will learn a bitter lesson from his death and recommit themselves today to be more proactive in protecting their lives whenever the police make contact with them. By listening to the police as commanded, not fighting the police, obeying their instructions, not seizing police weapons, not resisting arrest and not running from the police, they will live until the next episode. Even if they did nothing wrong, they should learn to just suck it up and can always sue the city later for a wrongful police arrest and detention. First things first, black people must learn to stay alive in any police encounter as a dead person has no more rights whatsoever. Please black people, reassure yourselves that you will not let the police kill you by memorizing the rules of engagement and recite them each time the police confronts you and immediately put them into use. May the soul of Rayshard Brooks now rest.

RACISM IN AMERICA: THE SCAPEGOATING OF THE POLICE.

ICHEOKU says the first indication of racial America is the classification of Americans according to their respective tribes including African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Latin Americans, Russian Americans, Chinese Americans, Mexican Americans, Irish Americans, Italian Americans, Russian Americans, Black Americans and the list goes on and you wonder why not just Americans.

But the intention is to drive wedges between the people and keep them divided; and that way prevent a full assimilation and total integration of all the people who found themselves mired in the conundrum of Americanism. Instead of all the prefixes and respective tribe identifier/markers, why not just refer to every American as an American, one would ask.  But no, the intention is well known; it is to divide and conquer the people in order to maintain the existing internal hegemony of white people over other people in America. They made it so in order to keep other disparate Americans fighting each other for survival and trying to curry favor from white people by snitching on other minorities in order to remain in the good book of white people.

It is a game of survival and white people know exactly how the game is played, they pit one minority group against the other minority group and watch them fight each other and whoever survives is made the supervisor who then reports to them. They are good at what they are doing and they have successfully achieved their desired goal of keeping American people separately apart from each other and dug in, in their own respective hamlets, zones and neighborhoods and to the near exclusion of other Americans who do not look like them nor share their experiences and backgrounds.

This is the reason you have various towns and neighborhoods in America reflecting some cultural backgrounds which they pass off as celebrating those cultures, but it is not. It makes the multi cultural American society a ruse because there is no real integration when a Chinese American lives in ChinaTown and white man lives in their own neighborhood, ditto blacks, Italians, Hispanics etc.

This shows that America is not the monolithic society which it is often projected as. Rather, it a motley of different people, from diverse cultures and backgrounds; people who are from everywhere and who are laboriously mired in what Joe Biden once described as a racial jungle and trying to survive. This causes the frequent escalation of tension in the society between each rival groups as everyone wants for themselves what the other has, hence the survival of the fittest attitude and the treating of the needs of their own kind as superseding the needs of others. As a result any person who finds himself or herself in a position of authority, no matter at what level, usually saturates the place with their own people, firing others and bringing in their own people to fill the vacancies. They want to maintain dominance and increase their own peoples economic fortunes and they must exclude others to get their desired objective.

It is generally broad and it goes from janitorial to the highest office in the land, both in private and public sectors. With jobs and other economic opportunities given to their own people, wealth is created within their tribe and they fare much better, while the other less fortunate tribes are left with little to nothing to take care of themselves and their own people. This economic exclusion of others is not limited to white people as the Chinese, the Mexicans, the Hispanics, the Japanese, the Russians, the Filipinos, the Jews and everyone else who can, bakes the cake primarily for their own kind. As a result, those who are shafted and left with nothing, engage in all manner of things for survival including strong arm robbery. It is this institutionalized tension in the American society that the police exists to maintain a firm lid over and prevent it from boiling over; and often times are demanded to quell any arising fallouts from.

A thankless difficult job but they do it anyway as that was what they signed up to. The police are also from diverse backgrounds as every American and share in the same biases and resentment of others who are not members of their tribe, admitted mostly internalized until acted out. They also have their employers, usually the Mayor and those at City Halls with police supervisory jobs, who they have to satisfy to remain employed. So, they do whatever they can to not only keep their jobs by maintaining order and to be in the good book of those in power who must be protected from the angst of the ever eruptive have nots. It is in the attempt to balance these loyalties that they often times overreach and over perform, leading to excessive use of force.

This is why it always takes a protest before the condemnations of the police because their employers are fully aware of the underlying smoldering tension but keeps quiet until it boils over. How many times has a policeman or woman ever been disciplined for their misconduct before protests erupts, as many protests usually start after the people have waited for those in charge to take action but to no avail. The protest from the Minneapolis killing of George Floyd could have been averted if the Minneapolis police department and the Mayor acted summarily in disciplining the offenders and charging them to court for what they did. But they waited, thinking that things will quieten  down to sweep it under the rug as usual but they miscalculated this time.

The police is being constantly harangued and hounded as if they are the only cause of the problem when the politicians that hire them and abuse them, demand that they accomplish so much with limited resources and then turn around to deride them when things go wrong. They forget that the police are human beings too, that they have feelings and that also they have families as well. The police are not superhuman, admitted they are asked to undertake dangerous assignment chasing down and arresting the dregs of society, take and accept what other humans cannot take and accept. They want the police to catch bullets being fired at them with their teeth but never to fire back at the criminals who want them dead. They forget that the police are afraid too and wants to return home to their families at the end of each work shift. But how the police is expected to mission accomplish on all they are asked to do and still not make mistakes is what ICHEOKU is still trying to figure out.

So please spare ICHEOKU all the pretentious indignation that George Floyd, was killed. He was not the first black person to be inhumanly executed by the police and he will not be the last. His murder was not even the first time such horrendous treatment or killing of a black person was captured on video, Rodney King and Eric Garner were both captured on video but elicited no such outcry. But suddenly everybody just woke up to the issue of race in America and the fact that black people have been on the business end of the spear of racism.

But it is an election year and their main target is President Donald John Trump, so they must hype everything up to near breaking point in order to get the president. But again, they have failed because American people saw through the charade as the president is not the Governor of Minnesota nor the Mayor or Police Chief of Minneapolis under whose jurisdiction George Floyd was murdered. It is instructive that all the three men are all Democrats.

So why exactly is the police being singled out and hung to dry as if they are doing something which their employers does not know about or did not want them to do. Their employers want the police to keep them safe and the police must do whatever it takes to achieve the objective. If their employers are not afraid of a society which they created, they would have since disarmed or disbanded the police. But they know the consequences of such a reckless act as they will be the first victims of a lawless state of affairs without a police to call to their rescue. The police are only the enforcement arm of the society which hired them to do exactly as commanded, yet some people are now questioning the police without questioning the politicians who hired them and under whose supervision they work. Why is the outcry not to defund politics or disband politicians instead of the police. The police, no matter how low their estimation are still better than politicians, yet America has not disbanded Washington DC, Governor's houses and City Halls.

ICHEOKU says please stop singling out just the police for chastising because the whole system is skewed up, from Wall Street to Main Street, from Washington DC to various City Halls including in private businesses that do not hire black people and landlords that do not rent to black people to money managers in banks that do not lend to black people and when they do, at exorbitantly high interest rate. People should stop blaming the police for they are just a product of a society that have no regard for black people and treats their breaths as if it does not matter. So, why expect the police to be any different and for them to allow black people to breath when the general society does not. It is better if the the fix is wholly throughout the society or lets stop the occasional pretense and waddle on in the American experience which is bleeding.

THEY ATTACKED HIM BECAUSE HE RAISED THE BIBLE.

ICHEOKU says forget about their pretentious rage that "innocent" protesters were teargassed near Lafayette Park. The main issue was that President Donald John Trump dared to raise the Holy Book for the whole world to see. Yes, the president held up the Bible in front of St John's church and to the crazy progressive left wing nut jobs, such was an abominable act punishable with execution. They were livid that the president was encouraging trust, believe and faith in God and they descended on him like blood hounds and vampires.

What the president did was akin to showing Dracula the cross.  They were incensed and they were mired in a ravenous rage. If not for the Bible they saw, everything would have died down after a mere mention, but they piled on. Anyway, one with God is majority and on November 3rd, the good Lord will raise the president high as the president raised the good Lord's words high. President Donald John Trump is in battle for God's place in America as well as the American people and he shall be victorious IJN. #OnNovember3rdVote4Trump.

JOE BIDEN'S VEEPEE SHORTLIST: NONE WILL TAKE HIM TO THE WHITE HOUSE.

ICHEOKU says former Vice President Joe Biden would fare much better running without a vice presidential candidate than run with any of the shortlisted six candidates because of their obvious shortcomings. In short, he is in a Catch-22 quandary and no matter who he selects, there will be a heavy price to pay because of who he did not select. There is a big fight to the finish between white women and black women over who, between them, should be Joe Biden's rightful vice presidential candidate. This is increasingly becoming non negotiable because of the high stakes involved. It is obvious that whoever Joe Biden chooses as his Vice President will end up becoming the president by reason of incapacity of her principal, President Joe Biden, assuming he pulls off such a near impossibility. Even if Joe Biden did not abdicate his office, such his Vice President will overall be very powerful as a heavily diminished Joe Biden will farm out most of his presidential duties to the Vice President.

So the struggle for a Vice Presidential candidate position has never been this high in the history of choosing such a candidate, resulting in the internecine war currently going on  amongst Democratic Party women in their effort to clinch the position. This has forced Joe Biden into a real bind of a no choice, choosing; as the various competing forces will end up tearing his presidential bid apart. A boondoggle of some sort that who ever he selects, he will pay dearly for it. For instance, if Joe Biden selects a white woman, black people will protest the choice and will either walk away or have a diminished enthusiasm going into the November 3rd election. Conversely, if he selects a black woman, white women and some formerly leaning Joe Biden white men will revolt against him and join the rest of the majority white people who are voting to reelect President Donald John Trump for a second term. But choosing a Hispanic is not an option nor a Solomonic way of resolving the impasse.

Even the six already shortlisted women, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Valdez Venita Demings, Susan Rice and Michelle Luja Grisham will all bring more problems to the ticket than they will solve. They all come with their baggage and none will bring anything to the ticket such as star power, fund raising and winning a swing State for the ticket. This begs the question, what does Joe Biden want to achieve with any of this women if they will not bring the traditional benefits normally associated with a vice presidential choice to the ticket. All of them poses potential problem for the ticket and should be rather avoided than embraced; only that there is nobody who will not spell the same disaster for an already disastrous campaign whose principal is barley holding on. Lets examine what these women mean to the ticket or rather will being to the ticket:-

If Joe Biden chooses Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and his supporters will not find it funny but very disrespectful. They will conclude that the promise to her by Joe Biden of a vice presidential slot was what made her to sell Bernie Sanders out during the Democratic Party's primaries. That because of the promise, she dumped their collective progressivism, betrayed the cause by not stepping aside before South Carolina primaries for Bernie Sanders, spoilt it for the progressive wing of the Democratic Party and finally refused to endorse a fellow progressive Bernie Sanders and endorsed Joe Biden. Also Elizabeth Warren belongs to the wild eyed white liberal feminists wing of the Democratic Party and other more conservative white women as well as black women will not accept her choice as Joe Biden's choice for vice presidential candidate. Otherwise, she is eminently well qualified and she is a great debater.

If on the other hand, Joe Biden selects Kamala Harris to be his vice presidential candidate  that will be a great mistake as nobody, black or white, likes Kamala Harris. She is mean spirited and during her time as Attorney General of California there was a mass incarceration of people, some of them for offenses as petty as marijuana possession. Black Americans don't see her as really one of them because she is technically Jamaican and/or Indian at best. They will not readily accept another "foreign" black American as their representative in the power struggle after Barack Obama, who many still see as not being black American enough. Kamala Harris is also not fully down with the struggle, not being a descendant of slaves and embracing her will be difficult. She cannot raise funds and she has no star power to bring in the volume of funds needed for a what will be a very expensive campaign like no other before it. Also, white people do not particularly like her because of what she did to Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate confirmation hearing. She is not a mother and never raised children, so she cannot relate to mothers enough to bring them over to voting for Joe Biden. Even though she lost it during the primaries , her State California is already safely tucked in for the Democrats and she cannot win any other State for the ticket. She is a deficit and not a credit, so Joe Biden will not pick her.

Then enter the Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, an otherwise safe bet; but being black, will not go down well with the white liberal feminists wing of the Democratic Party, who wants a white woman as Joe Biden's vice presidential pick. She is not an extremist, she is down with the struggle and she will be acceptable to black Americans. But she has no star power to bring in the funds, no national clout and she will not even win Georgia, her State, for the campaign, thus begging the question, what is her utility?

Another name on the shortlist, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham would otherwise be another safe bet, but she is Hispanic and neither white nor black people will accept her rapid ascendancy over them, especially not now, with so much at the stake. Also, she does not have the star power to bring anything to the ticket including funding. She will only win New Mexico which ordinarily always breaks for the Democratic Party and so, she will not be picked.

Susan Rice, although a Washington DC Deep State insider, who has been playing the game of the Democratic Party for such a long time since the days of President Bill Clinton, is eminently qualified for the position, but she is hated by Americans. Her role in the Obama administration, especially the orchestration of the Russian Collusion has dented her so much that her chances of being selected is greatly diminished. She will be a big liability for the ticket than an asset. Also, she does not have the star power clout to reel in the big money and there is no State in particular which she can win for the ticket. Even Joe Biden's wife Jill will oppose her selection, so no deal.

That leaves only the Orlando Florida former police chief and member of House of Representatives from 10th Congressional district, Valdez Venita Demings, as the strongest safe choice for Joe Biden. First, she is real American black woman and she is not too controversial. Her background in law enforcement is also a sure asset at this time of great tribulation in the country following the standoff between the police and the Black Lives Matter. She might help broker a truce and assuage the tension between black people and the police, being one of them respectively. The only problem is that she lacks star power and will also not bring anything of strength to the ticket including funding. She will also not win Florida for the ticket which invariably makes her utility less delightful.

Anyway, it really does not matter who Joe Biden eventually settles on, none of them will bring anything extraordinary to the ticket nor will help the ticket win any major voting bloc or the White House. In this November 3rd 2020 election, Joe Biden is between the hard rock and a concrete wall or as the more popular aphorism will have it between the devil and the deep blue sea; either way he goes or chooses, he will lose. So, for heavens sake, he might as well just cast his lot with any of the six women and just blame her for his eventual inevitable loss on November 3rd, because President Donald John Trump will win his reelection for a second term handily. It does not matter who Joe Biden picks as his vice presidential running mate, the president has done enough to earn a second term and he will win his reelection.

The only thing worthy of commendation in the shortlist is the absence of the Atlanta Governor Stacy Abraham, who thought that winning Atlanta tantamount to winning the State of Georgia. It portrayed Joe Biden in a good serious light as her inclusion would have spelt catastrophe for the campaign. Stacy is quite a handful and she would have destroyed whatever was going on for the Joe Biden's campaign. She is a hot potato and it was good Joe Biden dropped her like it was hot, because she is indeed too hot to handle. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was missing in the list too, which was also very good as she came across as too despotic during the coronavirus lockdown. She brought too many eyeballs on herself and they were mostly unforgiving. Such too controversial figures are not a benefit to any ticket and it was good Joe Biden did not touch both women and left them to their own hothead devices. But hey, who shall it be, Demings or Warren; ICHEOKU tilts Valdez Venita Demings.

GENERAL CHARLES Q, BROWN: NEW AIR FORCE CHIEF, CONGRATULATIONS.

ICHEOKU says President Donald John Trump has once again delivered to the black American community, appointing for the first time in the history of America, a black person as head of a branch of the United States of America Armed Forces, the Air Force. A man of action who believes in tangible deliverables; unlike the Democrats who has been riding black people dirty for a long time without anything for black people to show for their never unyielding loyalty to the party.

The president was right when he asked black people during the last election, what do they got to lose voting for him and since his inauguration has delivered a lot for the black community in America including a Surgeon General of the United States, Criminal Reform and now the Air Force chief among many other things. ICHEOKU says any black person who does not vote for President Donald John Trump on November 3rd is an unappreciative ingrate who chose to be blinded by the unexplained hatred for the president, especially as Joe Biden damaged the black community more, his 1994 Crime Bill considered.

ICHEOKU says will vote for the president and before then, will continue to vigorously campaign for his reelection and he will be reelected. Congratulations to the new Air Force Chief General Charles Q Brown and also to President Donald John Trump for making that impossible opportunity possible. Without a doubt, black people are certainly moving forward under the president more than they have ever been under any previous president. The president has done enough to earn their vote on November 3rd and hopefully they will give the president reason to continue delivering for them in his next term.

JOE BIDEN'S CAMPAIGN: SAME OLD ROAD TRAVELED BY HILLARY CLINTON IN 2016.

ICHEOKU says unfortunately Joe Biden is using the same antiquated road map which Hillary Clinton used in 2016. Like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden will once again suffer the same fate of inability to successfully land in the White House this 2020. Their navigation coordinates are similarly scrambled and so will the end result be similarly off the tangent. So, Joe Biden is not securing the White House this November 3rd and everything he does and says signals this outcome at he has no serious desire to mission accomplish his objective.

Campaigning for any elective office, especially the presidency, should not be based on complains about the incumbent and things he or she did wrong. It also should not be about repeatedly saying how disdainful or disgusting the incumbent is and how awful they are. No, campaign should be about what the aspirant intends to and will do to right perceived wrongs and correct inadequacies of the administration they are aspiring to displace. Campaign should be how the aspirant will improve the lives of the people and keep them safe and overall make them better than the administration they are seeking to oust. But instead of message of hopeful anticipation, the Democratic Party are usually busy with personal attack of the incumbent, the reason it is often difficult for them to win presidential elections.

Bill Clinton won because of his "is the economy stupid" message of hope for a better economic numbers and Barack Obama won because of his message of "Hope and Change." But Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 because she had no such message and so will Joe Biden lose this November for lack of motivational message. Of course President Donald John Trump won in 2016 because of his Make America Great Again message that uplifted the pall that were cast over America during the inept Obama's administration as Americans looked forward to once again feel great and be great. Optimism about things to come always trounces any other message including how despicable the incumbent is as most people are always honed in to the sunrise and not pessimistic sunset. Joe Biden is riding the same horse and on the same saddle which Hillary Clinton rode in 2016 and the outcome will not be different.

So, why is the Democratic Party's presidential candidate not innovating to elevate and is stuck in the old playbook for presidential election as Hillary Clinton did in 2016 and expecting a different outcome. ICHEOKU says not withstanding the usual "poll" numbers which is usually skewed by the pollsters to achieve a desired outcome, Joe Biden will not win the forthcoming November 3rd presidential election. It will not happen as he has not convinced the country on the merit of putting him in the White House; at least not at this moment. His campaign is busy  telling American people that President Donald John Trump is bad, but they are not telling them why they are better and deserving of their votes instead of the president. They are also too condescending to allow American people determine the president's badness by themselves, the reason they are drumming that repeatedly.

The Joe Biden's campaign also forgot that American people are not electing a saint for heaven's gate, but a president who loves them, who will do right by and for them, who will fight for them and who will also protect them against all enemies, foreign and domestic, as well as protect their American way of life. They elected the president in 2016 with all his known flaws and this will not constitute a barrier for electing him again on November 3rd because that issue has been conclusively litigated in 2016 and their verdict is that President Donald John Trump is electable despite all his flaws. So, why is the Joe Biden's campaign traveling on the same old and worn out road to nowhere, except they are not serious with electing their candidate president.

Instead of telling American people why they should replace their president and in his place put Joe Biden in the White House, they are busy bombarding tired ears with how horrible the president is. They are not enumerating the many ways Joe Biden's government will be different and how he will improve their lives much more than the current president. Rather,   they are stuck in the mud of President Trump is a bad person, he is morbidly obese, he is an orange man, he does not show empathy, he is a bomb thrower and all other sundry descriptions which attacks his personality but not his presidency. They forgot that President Donald John Trump was elected "as is" in 2016 and because he promised American people a different kind of presidency and he is delivering on it. That is what is uppermost in the minds of American people as they vote to reelect the president and not the "orange" color of the president's skin.

The Joe Biden's campaign should have been attacking the president's policies and telling them why they are bad, such as telling American people why recognizing Jerusalem as capital of Israel and moving the American embassy to Jerusalem was a bad idea. The campaign should be telling American people why the president's strong stand against China is bad, but instead, they are spitting out nonsensical that the president caused the death of thousands of American people because of the Chinese Wuhan coronavirus. Unfortunately for them, their version of truth is definitely different from the truth known to American people that the Chinese Wuhan coronavirus was not due to the president's making. American people also know that the president has been doing his best to checkmate the coronavirus ever since.

The campaign should be telling American people how they will meet and surpass the president's economic boom miracle before the coronavirus, but instead, they are telling them how 20 million people lost their jobs because of the president's making. They so easily forgot what the job numbers were before China decided to crash America's economy with their Wuhan  coronavirus and they forgot that American people knew this truth as well. The Democrats are also telling American people that the president is morbidly obese without in fact checking the meaning of morbid obesity, hoping that they will impress all the fat people in America and dissuade them not to vote for "one of their own". They are aware that the president fo this height is not obese talkless of being morbidly obese, but they say it anyway hoping to score a laugh line. But the presidency is a serious business and it is not for comedians.

They are not articulating policy positions, economic plans, healthcare plan, how to counter Chinese insurgence and domination quest, how to checkmate North Korea, Iran and Russia, how to tackle the economy and of course how they will do a better job at these than the president. These are what American people want to hear from candidates seeking the highest office in the land, but instead they just want American people to hand the keys of their White House to Joe Biden without telling them why they should take the key away from the president and give it to Joe Biden. Where is the nuance and where is the difference, otherwise why should there be change in the White House; but the Joe Biden's campaign is not supplying the answers because they have no answer to give to the American people, the reason Joe Biden will lose the election of November 3rd.

Anyway, it is what repeatedly doing the same thing while expecting different results is all about. It is the concise definition of insanity. On November 3rd the Joe Biden's campaign will understand that President Donald John Trump won the 2016 election based on the same set of electioneering principle of telling voters what a president will do differently. You convince them and they will vote for you. So, as it was in 2016 so shall it be in 2020. President Donald John Trump will be reelected on November 3rd 2020 because Joe Biden did not give American people a reason to vote otherwise differently. A wise person does not change the horse mid stream and American people are wise. The reason they say "if ain't broke don't fix it" and if there is no reason to change what is, maintain the status quo.

There are three principal unfinished businesses which need continuity to yield the desired result: the stare down of China, rebuilding a coronavirus ravaged economy and the ongoing steady dismantling of the Deep State. Only President Donald John Trump is well positioned in gut and instinct to deliver on the three, so as to which candidate will do a better job handling the three issues, the president stands shoulders-taller than Joe Biden. This fact is not contestable and it is not debatable. It is glaringly obvious. Joe Biden is not an option nor an effective alternative choice. In the hands of President Donald John Trump American people will continue to trust their White House to continue to keep them safe through to 2024. American people will therefore reelect the president for four more years, all the noise and false poll numbers notwithstanding. #4MoreYears.

GEORGE FLOYD: A QUEST FOR A BLACK MESSIAH?

ICHEOKU says was he the savior black people have been waiting for and by whose death their salvation from racism will finally come. He was not their Moses as black people do not want to move back to Africa, they only want to be treated equally with their white counterparts. So, was he foretold by Martin Luther King as he who was to come; and between him and Martin Luther King, which of them is greater and meant more for black people in America? Was Martin Luther King his forerunner just as John the Baptist was to Jesus?

Like Jesus, he was a commoner in life but in death became a prince and huger than anyone could have ever contemplated and imagined. But unlike Jesus, he got a funeral befitting a prince and was mourned globally by a diverse people from different backgrounds, race and religion. His name is now etched in peoples minds. He was buried in a golden casket, driven in a luxury hearse and taken to his final resting place on a horse drawn carriage. His life was celebrated richly. But he has been dead for more than three days and that destroyed whatever claim to the same status as Jesus, admitted the significance of his death to black people, assuming the desire of Black Lives Matter is achieved, will suffice to qualify him as a Messiah in the true sense of the word and of course, for black people.

Yes indeed, if by George Floyd's death racism ends in America, then he would have saved black people and thus rightly earned the title. But it is too early to be hopeful, admitted nothing is likely to change beyond the cosmetic outbursts of support and feigned understanding of the plight of black people by some politicians, such as Mitt Romney, who are seeking to milk the sorrow for their own political gain among black voters.

But why was George Floyd's death so riveting, afterall he was not the first black person to be killed by the police, neither was he the first black man to be publicly strangled to death by the police. Could it be because his own strangulation took a long time to accomplish and as he lay dying, uttered so many words which impacted different people in so many different ways. Could his cry for his mother for help have touched mothers everywhere in a special way that could relate to him as their own child crying for help. Even female animals with young ones act so protectively around them and George Floyd knew that his mother would have risked it all to rescue him, the reason he did not call his father or brothers and sisters.

ICHEOKU says nothing is more sacred to mothers than the product of their wombs and mother bears are known to have killed people who wander too close to their cubs; ditto many other wild animals. Imagine what George Floyd's mother would have done to the killer cop Derek Cauvin,  were she within earshot of her son cry for help and seeing the policeman trying to suffocate her son to death. ICHEOKU believes she would have charged and bum-rushed officer Derek off her son's neck even at a great risk to her personal safety, including the possibility of being shot or arrested for assaulting a police officer. It comes to them naturally, the maternal instinct; and it does not matter the specie as motherhood is expressed by all mothers the same way, protectively. Mothers love the product of their children and nothing ever comes between them and their children, not even the man who impregnated them with those children.

But unfortunately, George Floyd's cry for help to his mother could not be heard from her grave, hence he couldn't be saved. By dying he achieved fame and has become world famous, his name permanently etched in history. His name was heard and mentioned globally; Senators and members of Congress and even a country's leader knelt in honor.  He will now live forever as a legend for the cause, but will his death bring about desired changes or even end racism in America?

Will he be soon forgotten, swept away under the rug of society like the many others before him now that he is deep six and no longer "threatening" or "intimidating" to anybody? Will society just move on to the challenges of living and away from the tragedy that was his murder in Minneapolis. Just as Jesus by dying purchased forgiveness of sin for mankind, will George by dying, purchase equality, respect and dignity to black people in America and in a some way put an end to racism.

ICHEOKU says is not optimistic because what drives the hatred of others is deeper than all the patronizing sanctimonies and public displays of the past several days. Racism is not just about the police killing black people, it is much broader than that and cuts through society's entire body fabric. The question remains how his death will change anything in America. Will white people now begin to move to black neighborhoods because George Floyd was murdered?

Will white people now freely share the same space with black people? Will white people now employ black people in their companies and businesses? Will white people now attend black churches? Will white people now send their children to black schools, colleges and universities? Will white people who control Wall Street now open it up and allow black people to share in their pots of gold? Will white people ever elect another black president? Will white people now freely mingle with black people?

Will black people now head security agencies including any of the three branches of the armed forces, admitted that President Donald John Trump just broke the record by appointing General Edwin Brown as the first Air Force chief. Will black people start getting loans at a fair interest rate? Will black people start getting apartments in any  neighborhood they desire without being told the apartment has been rented an hour ago?

Will black people get mortgage loans as easily as their white counterparts. Will store attendants stop training their eyes on black people as they enter their stores and shops? Will white bimbos stop calling the police on black people for no reason just like the girl with a dog in New York? Will white colleagues at the office or factory stop conspiring against fellow employees who are black and lying against them to get them fired?

Will white parents now freely accept their daughter's date who is black and without reservation offer their blessings should they want to marry each other? Will blacks start being paid equally as their white counterparts? Will black people start being elected governors, senators more regularly? Will white parents allow their children to play freely with black children in parks and permit their sleeping over in black neighborhoods?

Will the judiciary start being fair in handing out sentences to black people? Will the Joe Biden's 1994 Crime Bill which punished white people's cocaine possession differently from black people's crack cocaine possession never again be allowed in America? Will black people ever head the United States Treasury, the Army, the CIA or the FBI? So, what exactly changed or will change because George Floyd was murdered and his funeral celebrated so publicly.

The road ahead to banishing racism in America is long and it is strewn with thongs. The task is also arduous and unrelentingly difficult, if not impossible, will be the effort. Were racism just one thing or an object, it will be very easy to extirpate. But no, it is woven in everything in the American society and ingrained in the subconscious of the white people, many of who usually profess they are not racist but everything they do is racist.

They don't have black friends, they don't live in black neighborhoods, their children don't go to black schools, they don't hire black people, they don't go to black church, they don't attend black events, they don't eat at black restaurants nor black food, they don't wonder why there are no black faces on television or playing a lead role in movies or television characters; they don't have black spouses or children who are colored. But they will still tell you they are not racist simply because they do not mouth off what their heads an hearts are thinking.

With his death George Floyd drew more attention to what is entrenched in the American society, the racial struggle. But before him were Marcus Garvey, Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Rosa Park, Michael Jackson, Prince, Johnny Cochran, who had to hire the protection services of the Nation of Islam just because he successfully defended OJ Simpson and so many others who risked it all. But did their sacrifices result to the dismantling of the structural racism in America, no.

So, until all the racial walls are completely broken down, all the noise and pretentiousness will not a thing solve. Mitt Romney after showing up in the march, will still go back to his whites only exclusive neighborhood. He will still not make any black friend nor invite a black family over for dinner. He will still not give a black person scholarship nor hire them for jobs. Ditto Nancy Pelosi who will still return to her Pacific Heights San Francisco nearly whites only neighborhood. But they are good at putting up a show as the great pretenders they are.

Racism is as old as America and everybody knows about it. Black people have been lynched, killed, dragged to death behind trucks, strangled, shot and are still being killed, so why the George Floyd's special? Everybody knows the game these politicians are playing with black people, believing that black people are too dumb to know any better or that both parties are just using them to maintain their power hold on American people.

The two political parties are technically two sides of the same coin, admitted the Democrats are better at masking their inner intentions. They are riding black people like donkey in order to maintain their hold over them and anyone in doubt should ask yourself why Hillary Clinton did not pick Cory Booker as her vice presidential running mate in 2016, the same reason Joe Biden will not pick a black woman this 2020.

What is in America lasted a long time and it will not just disappear just because George Floyd was murdered. He was not the first to be killed, neither will he be the last as more people have been killed since his death on Memorial Day, admitted their names were not even heard. The murder of Jesus did not make Jews become believers and so ICHEOKU is not expecting anything tangible coming out from George Floyd's death. It is the tragedy of black peoples life in America and their lives do not really matter, the reason they are making the effort to make it matter.

But unfortunately, it is just an effort and like a tidal wave which comes and goes, every incident will always bring the outpouring and sloganeering which evaporates as soon as the victim is buried. George Floyd is now buried, may he now rest. Lets hope that his death somewhat softened the resistance to a fully racially integrated America to make America truly united, admitted the "United" stands for the unity of the States and not the people. Adieu George.

MITT ROMNEY: VERY DUBIOUS, NEVER LIKED BLACK PEOPLE.

ICHEOKU says for a man who is not known for activism, who has no records whatsoever to show for being concerned about society's many injustices, who lives a life of great white privilege, who rode on the back of his ever protective father for most of his growing up years, who belong in the top 1% with an estimated net worth of $200 million, a very wealthy former CEO, former Governor of Massachusetts and now Senator representing the great State of Utah, it is a great testament in duplicitousness for him to now suddenly become an activist.

Mitt Romney has no black friend and has no track record of ever caring for black people or their causes. Mitt Romney has always lived in America and has always been fully aware of the inequities bedeviling America. He never cared to remedy them even as a CEO when he had opportunity to hire black people, but instead kept a binder full of women, none of which was a black woman. Many black people have been killed in the past but Mitt Romney maintained his silence. He never showed concern for causes dear to black people and never said a word about leveling the playing field in America. But suddenly, President Donald John Trump is being harpooned for what he did not do nor caused, and Mitt Romney saw another opportunity to register his disgust at the president. So he marched in a Black Lives Matter protest when he never cared for black lives in the past nor gave a damn about their concerns.

Mitt Romney is a snake who is worse than a serpent and his double faced Janus character is known to all. American people are not fooled by his display as they know that Mitt Romney did not mean but only did it to diss the president. His history of depriving black people and the history of his racist Mormon church walling off black people for too long are in the public domain for the curiously minded to see. His Mormon church or rather cult never allowed black membership nor ordained black ministers until very recently, assuming they now do. He had so many opportunities to improve black lives but black lives never mattered to him, so he did nothing to alleviate their situation. So, why is it now that black lives suddenly matters to Mitt Romney. The only explanation is that he was trying to score cheap political point and with it take a jab the president.

The same Mitt Romney as a vulture capitalist, made millions off the backs of black people; taking over distressed companies, liquidating and consolidating them and selling them off at a profit. Many of the people who worked in these low wages paying companies were black people, but Mitt Romney fired them and shipped whatever remained of their jobs overseas. Mitt Romney did not give a damn then about their black lives but now fools which black person that he suddenly gives a damn or care about them. Black people also saw the smirk on Mitt Romney's face and his condescension during his debate with Obama in the 2012 presidential debates. They know he is a fake and phony, a wussy, a great pretender who only participated in the Black Lives Matter protest just to spite the president and not that he cares about black people.

Simply put, Mitt Romney is like any of "them white people" and he does not care about black people. He showed up in the march just for show, it was arranged and he made sure to be conspicuous enough that he was noticed and on a cue, the journalist interviewed him. He believed that his action will spite the president as antagonizing the president has become his new calling. He also believed that showing up will help build a non existent bridge between him and the black community but he miscalculated as no black person was impressed that Mitt Romney showed up. But Mitt Romney must know that he can NEVER be elected president of the United States of America, no matter the deceit, decoy or construct. American people know him as a fluke and a phony, he cannot be trusted and will never be elected president. He is the Julius Caesar's Cassius of our time and his treachery is legendary. Mitt Romney, just a pretentious mormon.

MICHAEL JORDAN'S $100 MILLION DONATION TO BLACK CAUSES

ICHEOKU says spending that money to train more black lawyers, doctors, engineers and other professionals, as well as in electing black people into offices would have been a better and more effective way of impacting black lives. But organizing protests, printing posters and teeshirts will not cut it as achieving meaningful power is should be the objective. Political power, judicial power, economic power, law enforcement power, financial power will be much easier to acquire with fully trained manpower who understand how the game is played. Without power, there is nothing black people can do to become powerful enough to change their situation in America as only the person with power is often heard and listened to. But hey, kudos to MJ for his donation.

LAW AND ORDER MAKES SOCIETY LIVABLE: SAY NO TO DEFUND POLICE.

ICHEOKU says majority of those snowflakes shouting disband the police, defund the police, will be the first victims of a lawless state which they are inadvertently calling for. Without law enforcement there is no society and it becomes a jungle where only the strongest and the fittest survive. Laws of the jungle is definitely different and it has no accommodation for the weak, the sick and the infirm. Those shouting for the abolishing of the police are about the weakest in the society and they need police protection more than those who are calling for the police to stay.

Unbeknownst to them, the police is the reason they have survived till today and thrived thus far. Remove the police today and people like Mark Zuckerberg will lose his ownership of Facebook, ditto the gaunt fella of Twitter, Jeff Bezos and so many others who a lawful society midwifed their existence and thriving. Imagine a society where the Minneapolis Mayor is left to fight for survival with Mike Tyson and you tell ICHEOKU the natural outcome. But these silly people are ungrateful for the security provided them by the existence of police and are taken everything for granted, the reason they have been running their mouth saying to defund and ban the police. If you ban the police today, they will not live to their full life expectancy as somebody will take them out without fear of law enforcement.

Many of them do not even know any better to understand and fully appreciate the ramification of what they are advocating. Many of them also do not have international passports and have never taken a trip outside the United States of America to understand how good they have it, having a police that do not constantly shake them down for bribes and at every corner. Even those who traveled, never made it to some countries where there is no 911 to dial when in trouble and where lawlessness is the norm and survival is the only order of the day. If only these agitators know better, they will be forever thankful and grateful for the law and order which exist in America, which is maintained by the police.

ICHEOKU says despite its shortcomings, which obviously could use some reforms, the police is not expendable in any society that wants to live and thrive in peace. The ensuing chaos is always such that even the worst kind of police is preferred to its complete absence. Somalia, Afghanistan, Waziristan, some parts of Mexico and of course the looting ad burning arising from the protest showcases what absence of police begets. America also once had its Wild Wild West and then, only the ruthlessly strong survived and no sane person should wish this on America, especially not the little minded fellows calling for the police to be disbanded through defunding.

What is needed is a sensible reformation and increased funding to help the police do a thankless risky job they are faced with. They are confronting society's dregs, people who are anti rules and order and these people for the most part has nothing to lose. The police put their lives on the line each day or night they step out to do their job, protecting the society. They are human beings too and many have families, wives, husbands, brothers, sisters, parents and children they like to return back to at the end of their shift. They are also under enormous pressure doing their job and the stress sometimes overcomes them. Many of them have been killed on the job, shot, stabbed and spitted on. Some have died as a result of accidents they were involved in while responding to someone in distress.

Therefore all these anti police outcries need to stop as it is not daily that the George Floyd's incident occurs. Every group has their own bad eggs and even Jesus Christ had Judas Iscariot in the midst of his twelve disciples. That a few police are bad does not  mean that the entire police is bad and America cannot allow this group guilting of the police to take roots. It is not fair to those police who are doing their best to protect and serve society within established laws and tolerable practices. Instead of the excessive antagonism of the police, let Americans try to understand and appreciate the work which they do. When any of them errs, then punish the errant officer individually and not impose a collective punishment on all the police.

Also, necessary reforms should be made to fix any observed shortcomings and to make the job easier for the police and to protect the policed. But removing the last bulwark between civilization and the jungle should be a complete no deal. Nature abhors a vacuum and if the police goes, the underground world will take over. ICHEOKU strongly believes that none of these snowflakes will prefer a life under the mob and their henchmen to the police, no matter how bad some of them may feel against the police. Reform the police where necessarily needed but reject the call for institutionalizing lawlessness. #SayNoToDefundPolice.

COLIN POWELL: NOT CREDIBLE, NEVER LOVED TRUMP.

ICHEOKU says Colin Powell lost his credibility with the American people and the world at large the day he lied that Saddam Hussein has Weapons of Mass Destruction and showed some props to buttress his lies. As it turned out, there was no WMDs and with it, his credibility went with the winds, blown to pieces. Credibility once lost is never regained and the lie about Saddam Hussein's WMD buried Colin Powell's contract with American people for good. Nobody listens to what Colin Powell has to say nor ever believes him when they are forced to hear it.

Colin Powell is a RINO, a republican in name only; and was so racist that he bucked his Republican Party's candidates John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012 to support and vote for the Democratic Party's candidate his fellow black person Barack Obama. Colin Powell also did not support nor vote for President Donald John Trump in 2016 and his support for Hillary Clinton never amounted to anything. So, who is the Jamaican Colin Powell fooling when he said that he will not vote for Trump on November 3rd. ICHEOKU says nobody really, as he did not vote for Trump in 2016 yet Trump won; and Trump will win again on November 3rd, with or without Colin Powell's vote. ICHEOKU says to Colin Powell, nobody really cares about his voice, vote or support and President Donald John Trump will win a reelection for a second term, regardless. #RINO

BLACK LIVES MATTER ON A PAVEMENT: SIMPLY A BAD IDEA.

ICHEOKU says why do a tribute which will be walked all over and underneath people's feet and vehicles tires. It is only dirt that is allowed to be down below the feet and tires. It was a bad idea as it does not in any way honor Black Lives Matter but only succeeded in placing them down under, beneath people's feet and vehicle tires. By the road signage, Black Lives Matter is now at par with dirt and it is dishearteningly demeaning. It would have been a different case were the BLM letters painted on a wall of a big building as an imposing giant mural, holding aloft the cause. But to put them down on a pavement, a roadway, where peoples shoes will pound them and vehicle tires will continuously run them over like a road kill, it is a statement in surrender and submission.

It is bad enough that black people are complaining that their necks are under white people's knees; but to now put the entire Black Lives Matter movement under everybody's feet and every vehicle tires is absolutely thoughtless and simply below par. Mayor Muriel Elizabeth Bowser simply out did herself, thinking that she was telegraphing a different message; but inadvertently admitted where black lives actually belong, beneath people's feet and vehicle tires. If she wanted to really honor black lives, she would have placed the sign on the wall of City Hall building or better still erect massive billboards along the entire 16th Street corridor with her Black Lives Matter letters painted on them. The H Street which she renamed BLM Plaza is a more honorable way to pay tribute to the struggle. But the painting of BLM on the pavement on 16th Street is definitely a negative because of necessary connotations.

The painting reminds ICHEOKU of what Saddam Hussein used to do to taunt America by painting American flag and President George H. Bush's image on the pavement where Iraqis walked all over them with spiteful glee and disdain. It is somewhat similar to throwing a shoe at somebody to show how contemptible the person is and message them  that they are below dirt. So, the Washington DC radical Mayor Bower did not insult the president by her action, rather she has created an otherwise avoidable antagonism for herself which will someday turn around to bite her badly any day she seeks some benefit or bailout from the Federal government. That she is the Mayor does not mean that she owns the streets of Washington DC to paint them as her ego desires.

So many people who live in Washington DC do not believe in BLM and each time they are forced to walk on the painting, it will further push them away from whatever cause BLM is pursuing. It is one thing to send a message but it a different thing all together to stick it in everybody's face, including those who would rather it was otherwise. Such in your face affront will only succeed in alienating people from each other, especially from the cause, as some white people might start seeing the Black Lives Matter as a struggle for power between white people and black people. People when threatened or feel under siege, reacts for survival and it will not bode well for Black Lives Matter if the majority are provoked as to feel threatened or no longer secure.

The painting is uncalled for and should be removed, painted over, as soon as possible or immediately following the waning off of the George Floyd's protest. The longer it stays the more people will start having thoughts and reading subliminal messages therein contained as a survival campaign between white people and black people. Such will definitely alienate support for Black Lives Matter and further prolong the resolution of the racial impasse in America. It is as simple as that, all the hullabaloo about George Floyd notwithstanding, that to fix the racial problem in America, the majority white people must first want to fix it, otherwise no deal. So, poking the finger in their eyes or waging the the finger in their face will only make them more reticent and withdrawn as they dig deeper to defend what they feel is theirs.

Why did Mayor Muriel Elizabeth Bowser not even paint the name of George Floyd on the street or name the street after him in order to immortalize him. But she was pandering to Black Lives Matter with a road painting on a street which belong to everybody, including those to whom black lives does not matter and you wonder what exactly was she thinking. ICHEOKU says condemns the road painting as a needless distraction to the issue of racism and excessive use of force by the police which are currently occupying the minds of American people. The painting is needlessly antagonist, confrontational and demeaning to BLM. Above all, defacing a public street by appropriating it to a particular people of people is not the answer and neither will antagonizing the president help with solving the problem. Only a concerted effort by everyone from both sides of the debate will solve the problem and Mayor Muriel Elizabeth Bowser should advise herself accordingly. #RemoveThePainting.

ROGER GODDELL: ADMISSION OF GUILT VINDICATES COLLIN KAEPERNICK

“First, my condolences to the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and all the families who have endured police brutality. We, the National Football League, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of black people. We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the National Football League, believe Black Lives Matter. I personally protest with you and want to be part of the much needed change in this country. Without black players, there would be no National Football League. And the protests around the country are emblematic of the centuries of silence, inequality and oppression of black players, coaches, fans and staff. We are listening. I am listening, and I will be reaching out to players who have raised their voices and others on how we can improve and go forward for a better and more united NFL family.” - Roger Goddell, Commissioner NFL.

ICHEOKU says with those words NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell admitted that the National Football League was wrong in not realizing that racism is a plague which has hounded black people for so long and still continuing till this day. An apology which is specifically directed to and rehire of Colin Kaepernick will be the right and proper thing to do as a necessary good-faith follow up to his sudden come to Jesus moment. Believing that his epiphany is real, ICHEOKU says Roger Goddell should consider taking some tangible actions, including spending towards improving the lives of black Americans. He could start by donating substantial amount of money to black causes and establishing education foundation for black people who want to go to college, including law and medical schools. He can even immortalize his name by naming the foundation after himself.

Roger Goddell can also cause the NFL to endow a medical health foundation for indigent black people who cannot afford health insurance or establish a food program for those who cannot feed themselves and their children. At $50million a year income, Roger Goddell is a very wealthy man and could easily afford to give up 10% of his wealth to help pay for these beneficial commitments to black people and help make black lives matter more. But he might just be flowing with the times and wanted to be heard as sympathetic to the cause without seriously meaning what he said, afterall he has been around this Ife for over 50 years and cannot in all sincerity say that he is not aware that there is a race problem in America.

But ICHEOKU will like to give him the benefit of the doubt that regardless of what his position was in the past that he is now prepared to turn the page, as a more aware and conscious person who now understands the racial problem afflicting black people in America. However, ICHEOKU does not agree with a return to a statusquo which nearly killed the NFL with players kneeling down during national anthem. It is divisive and it is a hot button issue and should be avoided going forward. The point has been made and it has registered; and for purposes of carrying everyone along, there should be no more kneeling during the anthem which most people interpret as disrespecting of the flag. Rather, the NFL should increase substantially any effort it makes to ameliorate the plight of black people in America through funding of programs beneficial to them.

If the NFL can bring itself to pay for ten black people to get trained as lawyers and/or medical doctors or as any other professional every year, then Roger Goddell would have etched his name in gold as one who made some difference in the lives of black people. By helping them get professional education, he would have taught them how to fish and they can then fish for their families and also teach others in their communities how to fish. Collectively, they will help improve the economic situation in their communities as well as help improve the general wellbeing of their people.

Roger Goddell knows very well that action is always better than words and therefore he should put his money where his mouth is by redistributing some of his wealth to black people. That way, he will actually help to improve the lives of some black people and actually make black lives to matter. Overall, his statement has the right tone and was well received; ICHEOKU appreciates him for boldly stepping up to make it, but adds that more is expected.

VINDICATED: WILL HE GET HIS JOB BACK?

JOE BIDEN'S 99 PROBLEMS INCLUDES HIS RECORD.

ICHEOKU says for a man who usually touts his record of being in Washington DC for 40 years, one is rather surprised that he always do that fully aware that a four decades long record cannot be all that clean and without smudges. But the former Vice President frequently throws that about, check my record; to which ICHEOKU says whether the 1994 CRIME BILL is part of this record which the Democratic Party presidential candidate  frequently proudly refers to. If, then he has another thing coming as millions of incarcerated black people and other minorities has a problem with Joe Biden, based on his record.
