GUN VIOLENCE IN AMERICA: FOR WHO THE BELL TOLLS NEXT.

Just five people shy of Sandy Hook elementary school mass shooting incident that claimed 26 lives, the Uvalde Texas Robb elementary school mass shooting at 21 victims, now ranks among the highest grossing gun carnage in America. It is sad that such frequent blood spilling has tragically become part of our culture as a society. May the souls of the killed now rest.

Does anyone know what Madam Speaker presently thinks about the incontrovertible case which America is now saddled with? Just curious!

ELECTION 2015, NOT JUST ABOUT JONATHAN?

Icheoku says regardless of your previous passivity to elections in Nigeria, including being generally apolitical, this Election2015 is totally  different and should get you started and firing on all cylinders. So much are at stake in this election 2015 as it is an election like no other Nigerians have ever witnessed. Forces of darkness that have held Nigeria down for too long are desperately fighting a battle of their life not to be completely and totally dislodged and forever banished into irrelevancy. They are fighting like an animal cornered and would rather see Nigeria dragged back to Hades than give up so easily. But the fight is both the Lord's and millions of Nigerians who have had enough and are determined now more than ever to permanently get rid of these parasites from ever holding Nigeria down again.

Therefore every Nigerian with still some sanity left in him or her must help in this fight to forever stop this cabal from maintaining their stranglehold on Nigeria; and to ensure   the establishment of a permanent level-playing field for all. The concluded National Conference is a right step in this direction and its recommendations, if fully implemented, will go a long way in redressing the anomalies of the past many decades. It will ensure a Nigeria that is more fairly reorganized and where every Nigerian is equally treated. So while in the voting booth this election 2015, as you contemplate before you vote, ask yourself whether this effort is worthy your championship? Thereafter, vote to have the recommendations of the National Conference implemented as it will ensure the enthronement of equality, equity and fairness in Nigeria. The APC is against the National Conference, they repeatedly made that much known to Nigerians; so expecting them to implement its report is a wishful thinking. Therefore if Nigerians want to see the recommendations of the National Conference implemented, they must vote the party that constituted it and which has promised to implement it to the last letter. President Jonathan and the PDP midwifed the National Conference and the report therefrom is their baby and they will implement it with optimal TLC (tender loving care).

Icheoku says every Nigerian must in this election 2015, fight like they have a skin in the game and to protect their interest in the estate called Nigeria accordingly. Nigerians must fight like they mean it and indeed really fight to ensure that what is right is entrenched and that no one would continually bully or intimidate others around merely because of the part of the Nigeria's estate they come from. As a correlation, this right of every Nigerian not to be intimidated in Nigeria includes the right of the present occupant of Aso Rock not to be intimidated out of Aso Rock; and disregarding what APC's racist foreign sponsors might otherwise wish or desire as a preferred outcome for Nigeria. This election 2015 is a fight to defend every Nigerian's interest, including those yet unborn, those dependents and those whomsoever they care for. Icheoku alerts that a lot of things are dependent on the outcome of this election and therefore implores every Nigerian that they are obligated to ensure a positive outcome for President Jonathan.

Muhammadu Buhari belongs to the past and should not be tolerated in the driver's seat of present day Nigeria moving forward. Muhammadu Buhari participated in a counter-coup in the 60s (1966); Muhammadu Buhari was in government as governor and petroleum minister in the 70s (1970 -1977); Muhammadu Buhari staged another coup and was head of State in the 80s (1983 - 1985); Muhammadu Buhari was in government in the 90s (chairman PTF) and again the same Muhammadu Buhari wants to return to government in this 2000s (2015)? Just one person, in a country of over 170 million people, in a period stretching over four decades, participating in governance, yet he is not tired neither does he want to yield the floor to a much younger generation? Regrettably too, Muhammadu Buhari did not leave much of an imprint on the sand of time during the period he strode the estate of governance in Nigeria that is worth mentioning. Recall that it is this same Muhammadu Buhari that was the then military governor of the Northeast Nigeria region, the same impoverished Boko Haram infested region of Nigeria; which goes to show that he did not do much to improve their lot while he served as their governor.

So in this election 2015, Nigerians should vote not just because they love Jonathan but to vehemently reject the fraudulent anomaly called Muhammadu Buhari, who is now masquerading as a corruption tsar. A man who claimed that he was too poor that he had to borrow the 27 million Naira required to pay for his presidential declaration of intent and nomination fees, yet his wife donated 135 million Naira to a charity event shortly soon after? The problem with some Nigerians is that they are indeed too gullible to be seriously buying into this orchestrated roadshow called Muhammadu Buhari and his vow to fight corruption? Icheoku decries that Muhammadu Buhari cannot fight corruption, not when he is surrounded and keeps company with very corrupt individuals, is currently enjoying the fruits of corruption and corrupt proceeds are heavily deployed in paying for and funding his election campaign.

Who is Muhammadu Buhari deceiving or rather who is he going to first arrest and prosecute for corruption, when not Bola Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi and all those APC governors who could not afford to pay salaries of their civil servants but are channeling states resources into the presidential campaign fund of Muhammadu Buhari? Like an Igbo adage which says that "he who eats the scrotum of the lamb is owing hydrocele big time", Muhammadu Buhari is now so heavily indebted to corruption slumlords in Nigeria that he must pony up substantially to them if he ever "wins". Icheoku berates that with Muhammadu Buhari, it is now a case of see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil  about and concerning corrupt men and women around him, who he now associates with and who are funding his presidential campaign. Yet he says he wants to fight corruption and wants Nigerians to believe him and vote for him because of this, when his current body language and the company he now keeps suggest otherwise? Nigerians, please tell Muhammadu Buhari to give you a break, a very fat, big break for that matter that he is corruption-free and will vigorously fight corruption in Nigeria!

In this election 2015, there is no place for any sitting on the fence or staying aloof undecided or unperturbed. No, every Nigerian that calls Nigeria home, country or even a place of some interest where to visit periodically, has something to say in this election. With their votes, those voting must  loudly and clearly say that moving back to time long past is not an option they can exercise in this election. Those not voting must unequivocally state their position and what voting wisely is all about and encourage those voting to vote right. Otherwise how could any Nigerian stand by and watch the reprehensible quota system once again triumph over merit? How can any decent Nigerian standby and watch a man who  disproportionately benefited from quota system through his army career, now once again, be similarly rewarded with an unmerited presidency of Nigeria?

If as APC would like Nigerians to believe that Nigeria deserves a change and that APC is the party of change, why did they not begin the charity from home? Why did the APC not show or lead by good example? Why did the APC not start the change by not presenting a very old man Muhammadu Buhari as their presidential candidate, when they have so many much younger and more youthful candidates than 72 year old Muhammadu Buhari they would have presented as their presidential candidate? Or is his a case of the biblical painted sepulcher our Lord warned us about; otherwise why the APC's current attempt to pour an old wine in a new wine-skin believing it will impact its chemistry, aided by their propaganda?

What answer would any Nigerian who is voting for Muhammadu Buhari give to their children when asked, what then is the value of education if an uneducated or semi-illiterate grandpa is allowed to even run, talkless of winning Nigeria's presidency? This election 2015 is about all those who believe in improving themselves educationally and who or whose parents have spent a lot in that direction. This election 2015 is about all the youths of Nigeria who look at United States of America, United Kingdom, Mexico and even Namibia and see their mates providing leadership in those countries; and turning back to look at their own country, couldn't fathom why not them too? This election 2015 is about all those wise Nigerians who have come to the conclusion that a leopard does not change its spots and neither does the cobra de-fang itself and will then vote to reaffirm that.

This election  is about all those Nigerians who hate to see injustice done to a man, simply because he came from the minority Niger Delta. Injustice to one is injustice to all; so if a Yoruba man Olusegun Obasanjo did his own full eight years time in the presidency, why not an Ijaw man Jonathan? This election 2015 is about all those Nigerians who believe that there is already a noticeable improvement in Nigeria with regards to infrastructures, growing economy, fight against Boko Haram, general freedom, as well as other new things and ideas that are daily being tested and tried; and who believe that there should be no curve ball thrown to disrupt it at this time. This election 2015 is about all those Nigerians who know that their own very grandfather and great grandfather has no much energy left in them to direct affairs of their families, talkless of that of a nation of over 170 million disparate people?

This election is about all those Nigerians who cannot stand idly-by and watch an aberration of a blind-man Muhammadu Buhari leading sighted people of Nigeria? This election 2015 is about all those Nigerians who detest the reprehensible quota system and its sacrifice of merit in all national affairs? This election 2015 is about all those Nigerians who indeed truly believe in a united Nigeria, where every Nigerian is equal and are treated equally under the constitution and not as AREWA may otherwise determine or sharia-nize? This election 2015 is about Nigerians who desire to see progressive change in a tangible, meaningful way and not such as is propagandized in a 72 year old grandfather, who was recycled from the previous millennium? This election 2015 is about all those patriotic Nigerians who do not like the current meddling by some racist foreign powers in a purely internal affairs of Nigeria. These people do not like black people and dislike the recent successes recorded in Nigeria and are now hell-bent and eager to derail it by scheming to impose on Nigeria a government of mediocrity led by a mediocre.

This election 2015 is about all those patriotic Nigerians who are horn-mad that America refused to help Nigeria in their fight against Boko Haram terrorists; refused to sell Nigeria weapons and even went to the extent of pressuring other countries not to sell weapons to Nigeria. Icheoku says only an enemy or a friend who is worse than an enemy, the type MKO Abiola admonished that with a friend like IBB no one needs an enemy, would stand by and watch terrorist ravaging a people and fail or refused to do something to help. So Nigerians, ask yourselves, what interest does the same people now have in trying to influence a Muhammadu Buhari's return to the presidency in Nigeria? It cannot be anything but sinister, motivated by ill-will to pull Nigeria back, down and under.

Ask yourself Nigerians if the way things have been in Nigeria is okay by you; otherwise do something about it by voting to secure and consolidate the current far-reaching grounds being broken everywhere by the government of President Goodluck Jonathan. Entrenched power never yields so easily without a fight and they are now fighting their last battle to remain relevant and in control in Nigeria. But with your votes Nigerians, you can help President Jonathan continue his current revolutionary reforms to make Nigeria a better society. With your votes, just do your part to stop and reject this attempt by these evil forces to roll back the gains of the past few years and their effort to push Nigeria back to the nineteen eighties. You have the power to do something about it and by voting wisely and for someone who at least can process information intelligently, your job would have been three fifths done. Icheoku says had APC given Nigerians an option that they can live with, may be; but not a 72 year old despot, who has the blood of three innocent Nigerians in his hand.

Nigeria cannot afford to continue to wallow in this perpetual one step forward, two steps backward, all motion and no movement, they have been doing these past decades. Such that each time they are trying to figure things out and begin to make some progress, something always comes from the blues to intervene and checkmate it. This election 2015, Nigerians must say enough of these interruptions to Nigeria's affairs. The ongoing progressive march forward must not be interrupted, not this time and never again. Vote to reject Muhammadu Buhari and his foreign sponsors who want to abort the progress of the past few years. This election 2015, please vote to ensure continuity; please vote to reject foreign meddling in Nigeria's purely internal affairs matter; please vote wisely to end recidivist rule; please vote smartly; please vote for generational shift and the permanent institution of new breed in governance; please vote for a generation that has something to protect and not one that is nearly becoming extinct as a result of age related attrition. On MARCH 28, VOTE GEJ.

BOKO HARAM'S "LEGITMATE GRIEVANCES", WHAT WAS OBASANJO THINKING?

Icheoku says suddenly the same man who severely and severally vilified President Jonathan for not being tough enough and not going hard on Boko Haram, sullen at the recent successes recorded by the government against the terrorist urchins, has now started singing a different tune? The Ota Deity said Boko Haram has "legitimate grievances" and now wants the government to negotiate with the terrorist group? Icheoku asks, negotiate what with which terrorist group that is almost completely vanquished? Would the government negotiate with the ghosts or spirits or dead bodies of Boko Haram terrorists and agree to concede to them the swaths of territories in Northeast Nigeria to serve as their Islamic caliphate? Or rather has Muhammadu Buhari finally agreed and accepted Boko Haram's nomination of him to serve as their go-between in any negotiation with the government? So please Olusegun Obasanjo, what is it that you want Nigerians to know about this latest kite you are flying over Nigeria in the matter of Boko Haram?

Icheoku asks what is there to negotiate with Boko Haram after being roundly routed and almost defeated by a new improved and better equipped brave fighting men and women of the Nigerian armed forces? Icheoku admonishes that there is nothing to negotiate and urges the government not to accede to this Olusegun Obasanjo's latest inglorious arm-twisting. The government must not again agree to negotiate with these faceless creeps, who rejected all past overtures made in that direction; and instead, have kept terror alive in Nigeria and for such a long time. Instead of commending and congratulating the government for a job well done so far and for improvising for the denied military weaponry by the West, Olusegun Obasanjo is rather busily pontificating a nonsensical proposition? Icheoku asks which manner of a patriot would, at this stage of an overwhelming Nigerian military exploits over Boko Haram, be asking the government to start negotiating with those bloody bastards? A motley of buzzards, who have previously snubbed and reneged on every past peace overture extended to them by the government and now, Olusegun Obasanjo is telling the government to do what?

When Icheoku expected Olusegun Obasanjo to have pressured his Western collaborators into selling Nigeria weapons and help in the fight against the insurgency, he kept mum; only to now resurface to vomit this unthinkable proposition?  Why is it now that the government is succeeding against Boko Haram and against all detractors odds, that Olusegun Obasanjo is giving his pin-head unsolicited opinion? Why is it now that the government have secured the much needed but denied weapons from other source and is successfully steamrolling over Boko Haram lunatics that Olusegun Obasanjo is offering his two cent opinion? Even when the United States deliberately refused to help Nigeria with much needed weapons and logistics, to the extent that it further pressured other countries to back down on their plans to assist Nigeria with military supplies, not a word of condemnation or solicitation issued from Olusegun Obasanjo. But now that the problem of weapons supply has been solved and the brave Nigerian military are doing brilliantly well in battles against these munchkins, it is time for Olusegun Obasanjo to open his mouth to offer this unsolicited advise?

So what would make Olusegun Obasanjo to now begin to sing this new refrain that the government should negotiate with Boko Haram or that Boko Haram has "legitimate grievances" that need be looked into by the government?  Icheoku has always maintained that the Boko Haram crisis was purposely foist on the Jonathan administration to deny him peaceful governance of Nigeria by some foreign conspirators acting in concert with their Nigerian  collaborators, including Olusegun Obasanjo. Their mantra has always been that terrorists anywhere are terrorists everywhere and should be resisted by international effort led by America. Whether it is Al Queida, ISIS or Abu Sayaff; it has been a joint world effort with America even begging some impacted countries to please stand up and fight with promise of free weapons and logistics. So Icheoku queries  why is it that when the same genre of terrorists are killing and maiming Nigerians, burning churches and schools, kidnapping school girls as well as committing wanton rape and other gross human rights violations, that the same world led by America, found it okay to stand by and do nothing to help Nigeria overcome the challenge? Why did the Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria not treated as Boko Hram terrorist everywhere, deserving of a world concerted effort to annihilate them? Is it a case of the lives of Nigerians don't matter like every other Joe and Jane black person inhabiting this world?

Can someone please explain to Icheoku this hypocrisy of the West that terrorists anywhere are terrorists everywhere which should be jointly, collaboratively and completely wiped out. But when it came to Boko Haram terrorists' infestation  of  Northeastern Nigeria, it became a mere regional problem of Nigeria and not a problem for the world to jointly fight off? Certain things in this world does not make any rational common sense; admitted it might make some skewed socio-economic, agenda-driven, sense of some sort which is contrived to permanently keep some people down and out in the cold and forever begging for mere handouts. As a result any gains or suspected gains being made by such a people towards improving their lives or geared towards taking their destiny in their hands, are quickly checkmated, suppressed and smashed.

After many  decades of faltering without any meaningfully directed forward movement, Nigeria was finally beginning to register some sparks of getting its acts together and now they must be stopped. Boko Haram was cleverly, clandestinely created as a weapon of choice to sabotage this effort; and to make sure it wrecked maximum damage on Nigeria, they refused to sell Nigeria weapons to confront it. However, Nigeria dodged their curve-ball, became more creative with sourcing weapons from other sources and the effort has paid off big time.  A now well equipped, well supplied and highly motivated Nigerian military rose to the challenge and against all odds, are proving themselves worthy in every battle field.  Needless to add that the Nigerian military's  successes went against the prediction of the same West that boasted that defeating Boko Haram would be nearly impossible, if ever; that Boko Haram is so well equipped, so well trained and so well financed that it will be impossible for the "rag-tag" Nigerian military to defeat them; and that it would be only a matter of time before Boko Haram completely ran over the entire Nigeria. But to their greatest chagrin and disdain, the courageous Nigerian military told the West and to their face, we don't think so; not in our backyard and bravely rose up to the occasion and today have taken back 15 out of 16 previously Boko Haram occupied communities.

What a feat of no mean magnitude by the Nigerian military; yet the West has not recovered much territories from nor defeated ISIS, despite their hi-tec advanced weaponry and sophisticated military. In their rush to write-off the Nigerian military as "rag-tag", they forgot how the same Nigerian military bravely did their dirty work liberating Liberia and Senegal, on their behalf, from long internecine civil wars; fought in Darfur; the Congo as well as other peacekeeping foreign missions throughout the world. But suddenly the same Africa's finest are now 'rag-tagged', murderous and kill-joys and you wonder what kind of love these people indeed really have for Nigeria as well as the entire black race. Like with their earlier useless prediction that Nigeria will break up in 2015, they have once again been proved wrong that Boko Haram can be defeated? Ashamed, they are now exploring other ways to still remain relevant in the matter of Boko Haram and Nigeria.

Icheoku has also been wondering how suddenly Boko Haram became stronger, got more weapons, more training and more fighting capabilities as well as logistics, finance and intelligence after the United States and other Western countries were allowed into Nigeria under the guise of helping Nigeria fight Boko Haram? While their presence in the country was tolerated, Boko Haram became more audacious, more vicious, had more free range and more Nigerians lost their lives to their terror. But as soon as they were told to pack up and leave and that their services are no longer needed and they left, Boko Haram is now nearly fading into history of a once happened terrorist group in Nigeria. Icheoku asks who therefore indeed was helping who in the Boko Haram struggle and which side indeed were all these Western countries on, which refused to sell Nigeria weapons? What a shame; and ashamed of their complicity and that Nigeria was able to accomplish so much without their help or weapons, they are now scheming to foist another madness on the country.

As usual, they had found their hatchet man, Olusegun Obasanjo, willing to throw the feeler with his idiotic comment in Dubai that Nigeria should negotiate with a now dead and nearly completely wiped out Boko Haram terrorists? Icheoku says it is the same continuing ill-will against Nigeria that is fueling their fervent interest in the forthcoming Nigerian election. An election which they forgot is Nigeria's purely internal affairs matter where they are fighting hard to impose on Nigeria, a very toxic product, Muhammadu Buhari, whom they have cleverly packaged to become Nigeria's next president. A human rights violator of the highest order; a man who murdered three innocent Nigerians and under whom every freedom was completely emasculated in Nigeria; a man who in their own clime, would be doing a long multiple life prison sentences if not already put to death for his crimes against humanity; yet they turned blind eye to all his infractions and want him to become Nigeria's president?

Icheoku says the good news is that Nigerians are a lot wiser today than they were in years gone by, and would not have nor stand by and watch any of these conspiracies come to fruition or bring harm to Nigeria. Icheoku asks where was the West when Sani Abacha was slaughtering Nigerians? Where was the West when Sani Abacha murdered Ken Saro Wiwa, Kudirat Abiola, Pa Rewane and other notable democrats in Nigeria? Where was the West when Babangida killed Dele Giwa and Mamman Vasta? Where was the West when Muhammadu Buhari murdered those three innocent Nigerians Bartholomew Owo, Bernard Ojuolpe and Segun Lawal? Where was the West when Muhammadu Buhari overthrew a democratically elected government of President Shehu Shagari? Where was the West when Babangida annulled the freest and fairest MKO Abiola election? Instead they preferred to serve MKO Abiola a cyanide-laced cup of tea and watched the man who was then the symbol of democracy in Nigeria and whose right to have his mandate restored should have been backed up by the West, gasped and convulsed to death? Instead of defending his right to have his mandate restored they sacrificed him for the proverbial "common good?" This is the same West that is now trying to sell to Nigerians a Muhammadu Buhari for president and you ask yourself what a soiled, evil intention?

It is pathetic, pitiful, painful and hurtful that the West's unbridled hypocrisy often-times assumes the toga of a 'do-gooder, I love you more than yourself imbecilic idiocy. Icheoku says to hell with Olusegun Obasanjo and his latest negotiation gimmickry. But electing to be a devil's advocate for a moment, Icheoku asks Obasanjo what "legitimate grievances" do these marauding murderers have that should be addressed or worth looking into? Also did these "legitimate grievances" suddenly effervescent to the top during President Jonathan's government? If according to Olusegun Obasanjo's skewed analytics, "only 19% of the people in Northeast Nigeria are receiving education," was that President Jonathan's government's fault or rather that of the state governments of that region as well as parents of those urchins, who are just busily making babies without adequately caring for them?

The almajiri menace of Northern Nigeria was not a creation of the present government but an existing sociological problem, created by a decadent society that only make babies without caring for them, which problem is beginning to affect the entire country. Further if lack of education is the problem, which type of education is Olusegun Obasanjo talking about? Is it the same Western education which Boko Haram branded as being very dangerous or madrassa Sharia indoctrination or what does Olusegun Obasanjo actually mean? If "lack of education brings disparity and marginalization and leads to their unemployment and bad living condition" as Olusegun Obasanjo postulated, did the situation start under President Jonathan's government? A president, who has done more than any other past president in Nigeria to help educate these almajiris by establishing "educate while wandering" sort of nomadic education for those cattle rearers.

What indeed does Olusegun Obasanjo want the government to negotiate with Boko Haram over and about? Do these things to be negotiated include that "Western education is dangerous"; that "only Muslims should be presidents in Nigeria"; that "all women should not go to school but remain in purdah?"; that "women should not work but are good only for making babies?"; that "Christianity should be abolished in Nigeria";  that "all churches and other places of worship which are not mosques in Nigeria should be demolished"; that "the constitution of Nigeria should be replaced with the Koran and strict adherence to Sharia Islamic law based on Wahhabism be the new law of the land"; that "adulterers should be stoned to death"; that "petty criminals should have their hands chopped off for stealing eggs?"; that "women should not drive vehicles" or 'that drinking alcoholic beverages are prohibited?" Icheoku asks Obasanjo, wha and what and what does he want Nigeria to negotiate with these nihilistic animals? What are there to negotiate with these beasts of burden, who have been fermenting mindless bloodshed in the country and what are these their "legitimate grievances" that needs looking into by the government according to  Mr Olusegun Obasanjo?

Icheoku wants Olusegun Obasanjo to please line-item all the issues to be negotiated with these mongrels and then forward it to the government for consideration. However,  would these negotiations include the resurrecting of all those innocent Nigerians that Boko Haram took their lives prematurely? Would the negotiation include Boko Haram rebuilding all those churches, schools and markets places which they wantonly destroyed? Would the negotiation include throwing a red carpet reception party for those rabid jackals to welcome them back into the fold of snake Nigerians and thank them for their exploits; and possibly hold such welcome party inside Aso Rock too for crying out loud? What a pity and indeed a very pitiful development that this deranged deity from Ota spit this vomit from his mouth. A matter made worse because some people in Nigeria still listen to him and even take what oozes out of his mouth seriously, as being all that important?

Icheoku says short of acknowledging him as demented, everything and anything Olusegun Obasanjo makes Icheoku wanna puke. Icheoku says the gloom and sadness of some of these Nigerians who do not wish the country well, including Olusegun Obasanjo,  over the current successes recorded against Boko Haram, is becoming increasingly apparent. It shows that their gang-up against President Jonathan is not altruistic, but contrived and orchestrated with every ulterior motive imaginable to damage, hurt and derail Nigeria's current forward movement. Olusegun Obasanjo is simply out of his mind for saying that Boko Haram has "legitimate grievances" and for calling on the government to negotiate with them. Icheoku says the government MUST not and SHOULD never cave in or yield to this new blackmail by Olusegun Obasanjo to pressure a let off the heat on Boko Haram. What a jerk, a double faced-Janus, a shriveling Boko sympathizer and double-agent 007, this Baba Iyabo is!

A VOTE FOR BUHARI IS A VOTE FOR TINUBU, SO DON'T DO IT.

Icheoku says Nigerians must wake up fast before it is too late and wean themselves off the cool-aid they are drinking with the candidacy of Muhammadu Buhari. Muhammadu Buhari is not a man of his own and lacks the independence to operate on his own as was shown during his despotic regime with Tunde Idiagbon; and during his stint at PTF as chairman of that agency where the running of the agency's  was farmed out to various consultants. Icheoku says by the same token, a Muhammadu Buhari presidency,  in event of that nightmare, will therefore be commandeered and hijacked by Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the man who has shown his true colors running all the APC controlled Southwestern states to his personal benefit. Which true Nigerian patriot would wish this ill-will on Nigeria?

It is a fact of consequence that Bola Tinubu is super greedy, super selfish and super micro-managing in everything, with a view to specifically and optimally benefiting himself and his immediate family only. He appointed his wife senator; h appointed his daughter Iyaloja of Yoruba Market women Association of Nigeria; he appointed his son in-law councillor and he appointed one of his daughters a member of government somewhere in Agege. Bola Tinubu single-handedly appointed all officers of the APC from the chairman to the rank and file. Bola Tinubu also appointed APC presidential candidate Muhammad Buhari and his vice Yemi Osibanjo and now fully and completely, totally controls APC 110%. Icheoku bemoans that a man this powerful, with so much clout to appoint and disappoint any person in the APC as he deems fit, will rather be too powerful in a government run by APC. Anyone in doubt should take a look at how all those APC controlled Southwest States governors bow and tremble before Bola Tinubu and then imagine how it will be with a Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Rock.

Unfortunately, the same emperor-ship and lord of manor-ship of Bola Tinubu will be repeatedly reenacted under a Muhammadu Buhari's "acting" presidency; which if it happens, would be at the instrumentation  and orchestration of Bola Tinubu. A man this greedy and rather too controlling should not be handed over Nigeria, no matter under what guise including that of a Muhammadu Buhari coming to fight corruption? The documentary "Lion of Bourdillion" is but an excerpt and tip of the iceberg of the decadence personified in Bola Tinubu; so handing Bola Tinubu the mandate over Nigeria commonwealth by proxy of a Muhammadu Buhari's presidency would indeed be very disastrous for Nigeria. Therefore, any Nigerian planning to vote for Muhammadu Buhari should think again; as a vote for Muhammadu Buhari is a vote for Bola Tinubu, the man behind the mask of Muhammadu Buhari. Icheoku says that no sane Nigerian should wish a Bola Tinubu's control of Nigeria's resources over motherland and therefore must see the struggle to stop Muhammadu Buhari as a struggle against Bola Tinubu. Icheoku prays that Nigerians will rise to the occasion and vote wisely to forestall this impending doom and pillage of Nigeria by Bola Tinubu. So on MARCH 28, vote against Bola Tinubu's hostile take-over of Nigeria, VOTE GEJ.

BUHARI NOT A GOOD OPTION FOR NIGERIA - RICHARD GRENELL

With the polls closed in Israel, international election observers now turn their attention to the Nigerian elections on March 28. The choice for the leader of Africa’s most populous country pits Goodluck Jonathan from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) against Mohammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The decision by the roughly 73 million registered Nigerian voters could have a profound impact on the future of Africa. But Western foreign policy observers pre-occupied with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria. Opposition candidate General Buhari wants Sharia law throughout Nigeria. In fact, he wants it everywhere. “I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria,” Mr. Buhari said. “God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.” Agitation? Is this an indication that Mr. Buhari supports violence because the end goal of the terrorist attacks throughout Nigeria and Africa is an Islamic state? It is a legitimate question that should be asked by leaders of the Obama administration. Boko Haram has pledged its allegiance and support to ISIS.

The Northern Nigerian based Islamic terrorist group wants Sharia law throughout Nigeria and beyond. They are also actively terrorizing Chad, Niger and Cameroon with their goal of an Islamic state. Mr. Buhari has also spoken sympathetically about members of the terrorist group Boko Haram, has cautioned against a rush to judgement on its members and has personally been selected by the terrorist group to lead its negotiations with the Government of Nigeria.  Mr. Buhari’s election as Nigeria’s head of state would be a disaster for Africa. It would also signal trouble for the West’s fight against ISIS and terrorism throughout the Middle East. Islamic radicals have Africa on their target list and young Nigerians are reported to be interested in ISIS’ messages.  Nigeria is at a tipping point. Tunisia, where the Arab Spring uprisings began, saw a deadly Islamic terrorist attack at a popular museum killing 23 people this week. ISIS attacked a hospital in Libya within the last few days and Boko Haram killed 54 people with 4 suicide bombers in Nigeria last week. The West, and specifically the Obama Administration, needs to wake up to the growing problem. The French government has been fighting ISIS in Africa for the past two years, starting in Mali but with little help from the Obama Administration. As terrorism grows in yet another region of the globe, American and Western officials should realize they are not stopping the advancements of Islamic radicals. Al-Qaida is not dead and ISIS is not a JV team.

The recent moves by the White House against Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu signal a willingness by President Obama and his team to intervene in foreign elections. The sitting President Goodluck Jonathan has committed to defeating Boko Haram and overseeing a free and fair election. The Nigerian economy has been growing faster than South Africa’s. Imagine what Nigeria could do for Africa if it was also free of Boko Haram’s violence. The Obama Administration should be doing more to ensure Africa’s most populous country doesn’t slip away.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE, SO STOP BUHARI NOW!

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE, SO STOP BUHARI NOW!

Icheoku says no Nigerian needs a soothsayer to foretell the cold shroud Muhammadu Buhari will throw over Nigeria if imposed by his Western sponsors. Needless to say that his despotism is a well known fact amongst Nigerians. So since an old dog cannot be taught new tricks and a leopard does not change its spots, why try with Muhammadu Buhari. On MARCH 28, tell Muhammadu Buhari's sponsors that their voodoo did not affect you and that you still sees very 'korokoro' well, VOTE GEJ

OBASANJO JABS BUHARI, SAYS BUHARI IS HANDICAPPED?

Only 19% of the population in Boko Haram's stronghold of North-East Nigeria are receiving education; compared to 79% in the South-West and 77% in the South-East. There is no question that the area should feel marginalized. We don’t need anyone to tell us that, that is a problem; a problem of disparity, a problem of marginalization, a problem because education is fundamental to your employability and to your living conditions. If you are not educated you are handicapped.” - Olusegun Obasanjo.

Icheoku adds that the same Olusegun Obasanjo who claimed that Muhammadu Buhari with no verifiable First School Leaving Certificate is "educated enough" is now singing an entirely different new tune and by necessary implication, indicting the same Muhammadu Buhari as being handicapped? Nigerians, Icheoku asks, when would you stop falling 'muuguu' to this game of thrones being played over you by this cabal. Say enough is enough; ON MARCH 28, tell this people that you are smarter than they give you credit for, VOTE GEJ.

APC WILL NOT IMPLEMENT CONFAB REPORT - SHEHU GARBA.

Icheoku says still looking for a reason to reject Bola Tinubu's controlled Muhammadu Buhari's bid for Nigeria's presidency, look no further. Unless you are part of the cabal that wants to maintain its stranglehold on the estate called Nigeria and in perpetuity, you are duty-bound to push for the full implementation of the National Conference Report. Unfortunately, Bola Tinubu's controlled APC has not shifted grounds on its opposition to the conference and they are now even saying that the successful holding of the conference notwithstanding, they will still not implement its report, if elected. Icheoku says it is for you Nigerians, to decide if Nigeria must remain the way it has been all these decades; of it being milked by a very few feudalistic cabal while the majority suffer in crass subordination and deprivation. Icheoku says it should not remain so and it is for you, using your votes, to say no to these quota-assisted group of very few select Nigerians, who are continuously lording it over others.

The National Conference was primarily set up to address some of these obvious inequalities and inequities which are deeply entrenched and institutionalized in Nigeria, foist by a few cabal with the sole aim of holding the rest of other Nigerians captive in their created large slave camp. But these very few powerful people fought back and in vain tried to derail the conference but Nigerians pushed back and went forward to embrace the conference and conclusively held it. But because power does not easily yield, they are now ganging up in solidarity behind the APC to see that the report of the conference will never be implemented. The same people who have been holding Nigeria back for so long a time are now more than ever determined to continue in this their trajectory; but only if Nigerians will let them. The implementation of the conference report is the key and every rational Nigerian must stand to oppose them by not allow them to have their way by rubbishing the effort that went into reaching this conference report.

Icheoku says very eminent personalities from all walks of life attended the conference, deliberated extensively and then arrived at certain implementable decisions which will help move Nigeria forward. So anyone trying to sabotage this effort by threatening not to implement the report cannot be said to have the interest of Nigeria at heart and therefore must be rejected. It is of general knowledge that the man who owns and operates APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his minion-APC governors, did not even want the conference to hold and somewhat boycotted the conference. So it naturally follows that the same anti-conference personalities as populate the APC, cannot now be seen to suddenly turn friendly towards implementing the far-reaching decisions of the same conference which they tried so hard to frustrate and sabotage. It does not make sense and it is illogical that the APC would implement the report which they wanted to abort its conception and therefore must not be allowed to kill it by electing them.

Luckily, any previous second guessing of the APC over its stand regarding the National Conference report implementation has now ended. The Director of Publicity of Muhammadu Buhari Presidential Campaign Organization, Garba Shehu, confirmed and unequivocally, that his party is opposed to everything and anything, the National Conference. The director reiterated that his party, the APC is strongly opposed to anything National Conference, including its implementation and will kill it if elected. According to Garba Shehu, the report of the National Conference is unimplementable; hence the APC would not even bother trying! Mallam Shehu even went further by disparaging the effort of those eminent Nigerians who spent time and resources clobbering the report together as a charade, dubious, circus-show, sinister and indeed unimplementable? Icheoku says if the report is unimplementable to the APC, it is certainly not so for the PDP; which midwifed it and would gladly see to it that the goodies of it are fully implemented to the letters and to the general benefit of majority of Nigerians.

Nigerians should know that there is no way the APC which wanted the conference aborted and which went as far as boycotting same, would ever implement its report. Therefore any Nigerian who desires to see the CONFAB report implemented, in order to right the wrongs of the past and make better the path of Nigeria's present off-course direction, must do the needful; by electing the man whose baby the conference is and who would gladly nurture it by fully implementing its report, there will be a guaranteed outcome. One thing Icheoku is certain about is that the implementation of the National Conference Report is on the ballot in this election. The National Conference and decisions therein reached are very important to the continued existence of Nigeria as one entity; hence its implementation is held so very dear to the hearts of millions of descent, peace-loving and real progressive Nigerians, who desire to see a better Nigeria come to fruition. Therefore it is not a "cheap blackmail" as the APC's Lai Mohammed would like to beguile some gullible Nigerians, to desire or crave or clamor for the full implementation of the National Conference Report.

Icheoku is emphatic that so many Nigerians, including Yoruba Southwest Nigerians, are deeply troubled by the position and stand taken by the APC not to implement the report of the National Conference and would vote against the APC's position by voting PDP to authorize the implementation of the report. Millions of Nigerians who want to see a reorganized and repositioned Nigeria that works for everyone and not just a few cabal, see the National Conference as a ticket to achieving this. Therefore  any political party, including the APC, that is standing on the way of implementing the report will be swept away by the denudation that is Nigerians forthcoming overwhelming vote to have the report implemented. Or which sane Nigerian does not want to see a more functional Nigeria that works for everyone? Icheoku says since it is now obvious and beyond every shadow of doubt that the APC is against the National Conference and will not implement its report, it makes better sense that Nigerians vote for the party that will implement the report - the PDP. So on MARCH 28, VOTE to have the National Conference Report implemented, VOTE GEJ.

MUHAMMADU BUHARI HAS NO MORE STEAM LEFT IN HIM, SO VOTE GEJ.

Icheoku says in case you have so soon already forgotten and in order to refresh your memory, Muhammadu Buhari campaigned for 35 days and rested in London for 16 days? So it therefore necessary follows that if he should work as an "elected president" for four years (1,456 days), he would have to rest for 666 long days in order to enable him recuperate,  rejuvenate and fully recharge. Icheoku did this calculation not factoring in the very exacting and excruciating toll the presidency takes on its occupant; and so if that is weighted in, the number of his sick and work-free days necessary for him to b rested enough to carry on his duties might even  skyrocket to close to 1000 days?

So Nigerians do the math and please someone tell Icheoku that some Nigerians would still indeed, actually vote to authorize such truancy and inefficiency in the presidency?  With such so much extended leave of absence, when then would he get the demands of running the state and catering to the needs of the citizenry met? Or is it going to be deja vu Sani Abacha who notoriously woke up by noon, got to the office at 5.00pm and then go to play squash at 7.00pm before retiring for night after dinner at 9.00pm? A society gets the kind of leadership it deserves BUT Icheoku is emphatic that the Nigerian society, as supposedly civilized now than before, can do a whole lot better by choosing her leadership more wisely. Icheoku says a 73 year old grandpa should be discouraged by everyone who loves him from exacting too much pressure on his very weak old heart, trying to figure out the intricacies of running a very complex society like Nigeria. Rather, like his children and grandchildren which majority of the voting electorates are, Nigerians should let him live out his golden age in peace at his country home in Daura, by refusing to punish or suffer him with tasking him with the presidency of Nigeria. Icheoku queries which descent child or grandchild would do that to his or her grandpa, asking him to put too much pressure on his heart at such a very advanced old age.

Please Nigerians, do not be this uncaring; let grandpa Muhammad Buhari rest. Do not vote for him as that is being too mean and very uncaring and not thoughtful. Do not be a demented, wayward child that would accelerate the departure of the elderly from this planet earth. Please let the elderly take their leave when the good Lord so decides, but never as a result of massive cardiac arrest induced by overbearing pressure of governance. Icheoku is convinced that no right thinking, humane and sane Nigerian, would against every acceptable tenets of the Nigerian society that cares and caters for their elders, force this burden of the presidency on Muhammad Buhari; not at 73 years old otherwise why do people retire at 65years?  So  regardless of all the propaganda and hot air pervading the airwaves in the country about how a 73 year old grandpa is not any ordinary human but has a superhuman energy; does not age or did not age; but is rather roaring to go, just ignore it for what it is  - a mere propaganda that is meant to blindside the gullible. Just take a look at your own immediate vicinity  and figure out how that old pa or grandpa around you is figuring basic things out, talkless of the complexity of governing a country like Nigeria.

Please Nigerians do not be a party to this perfidy, do it for your love of Buhari, do not burden him with the grueling task of governing Nigeria. Muhammadu Buhari is simply too old  to live up to the challenge and you should not be a party to any sudden interruption to his life as a result. Like Pontius Pilate, please wash your hands off this madness and tell them that your love of Buhari would not allow you do as they want you to. ICHEOKU maintains that Grandpa Buhari is simply not what Nigeria needs at this time, he is simply too old and nearing senility; his time has since came and gone with the wind of yester-years. Today's  digital Nigeria has no place for the analog Buhari, please let him rest and enjoy in peace whatever remains of his sojourn here on earth. So On MARCH 28, vote smart, vote wisely and vote intelligently, VOTE GEJ. GEJ is digital. GEJ is still youthful. GEJ has finished his presidential internship. GEJ now fully understands what needs to be done. GEJ would do better and even more during his second term.  GEJ gives it his all and GEJ will still give it more of his all.

FAYOSE AND KAYODE, PUTTING VERVE IN A PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN.

Icheoku has said it before and will say it again that only very few Nigerian politicians understand what real politicking is all about, short of their usual bribery with stuff and bare knuckle thuggery and intimidation that always get them  elected. Many of them do not have what it takes nor possess the cerebral power-punch oratory skill that effortlessly sway  electorates. This is the reason why politics is no longer interestingly fun anymore; unlike the good old days when people would be rushing to get newspapers or watch television or tune-in to their radios just to hear what Zik said again or what is making Pa Awolowo mad again or what vernacular Mallam Aminu Kano spoke again. Those were the days of politics without rancor and bitterness; but one peopled with brainiacs who fought their opponents with superior ideas and witticisms only. There was no do or die bloodletting thuggery or bribery;  it was purely politics based on power of conviction.

Icheoku remembers the days of colorful politicians like KO Mbadiwe, TOS Benson and a few other notable political juggernauts, timbers  and calibers whose oratorical skills were such that the Nigerian electorates were held spellbound and captive by them. Icheoku nostalgically still remembers the weight of verbal bombs which these gifted real politicians threw across the land and how reverberating their thud sounded. Those days are since long gone with the wind and these days, no one can remember any thing said by any politician nor recall any politician dropping a memorable one-liner that he or she could be remembered for. No Nigerian today looks forward to hearing what any politician said again or how he said it; and none of them draws laughter from an excited audience any longer.

In short many a Nigerian politician today is bland and tasteless; the reason they resort to bribing their way to power with useless stuff that only a hungry and deprived electorate would trade his or her vote for. No electorate is mesmerized any longer by these charlatans masquerading as politicians in Nigeria. Even MKO Abiola of late had the "with a friend like IBB no one needs an enemy" and "you cannot shave one's head in his absence" liners to remember him for? Then Godwin Daboh's "if you Tarkah me I will Daboh you' liner was equally of note, memorable. Dee Sam Mbakwe's 'the rat does not eat the food of a person who is wide awake" also counts; and then you query what statement could be credited to any of these people now parading themselves as leaders in Nigeria, some of who could hardly even string a sentence, talkless of making it count and sizzle.

Icheoku says in the absence or paucity of such emotive remarks and "political jingoism", it is discernible why the duo of Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose and PDP Presidential Campaign Spokesperson Femi Fani-Kayode are currently making waves in Nigeria. Both men have finally come to the rescue of Nigerians,  by now giving Nigerians what they have been missing and longing for, and for a very long time. Icheoku says it is not about what you say or don't say; it is how you say it and meaningful mean to say it. It is called passion and being passionate comes with conviction, which many of these politicians lack as they are mainly interested in what accruals results from their activity rather than trying to make their mark on the landscape. Where others failed, both men have succeeded in charming the media as their new darling whose every utterance is reported and carried by the media; thus giving the campaign a much needed oxygen.

Like an asthmatic patient, these men are the new inhaler that makes it possible for a real breath of fresh air to be reintroduced to the campaign and now it can exhale again. With both Fayose and Fani Kayode, there is quantum passion and they deploy it fully to bear on what they have to say and in how they say it. Thus people hearing them believe they mean to say what they said and they say what they truly mean to say. By so doing, they have brought back some mojo in a hitherto moribund campaign that sauntered for a long time, thus enabling the propaganda machine of the APC to somewhat control the narrative for quite some time with the ruling party playing a catch-up role with their reactionary response. But the free-reign of the duo has now placed the PDP back in contention and ahead of the pack, where they naturally should and deserve to be. So with the playing field now leveled with both parties screaming their loudest, Nigerians are once again tuned in and listening to hear what comes down the pike, next.

Icheoku is pleased with this two operatives of GEJ2015 and says that the campaign owes everything it is presently now enjoying to the energies brought on-board by this two bare-knuckle pugilists. That's the way campaigns are wedged - take no prisoner, because short of bullets, political campaign is a war and only the brave and courageous throw  their hats in the ring. There is no room for humble gentle manliness in politics and anyone not ready to battle and tumble down and dirty, if need be, should yield because politics is not for everyone. Icheoku says kudos to Governor Ayodele Fayose and Spokesperson Femi Fani-Kayode for revamping the Project 2015 GEJ campaign and keeping git alive and bubbling. It is Icheoku's prayers that they also remain as focused and directed through the last stretch of the campaign project. Hopefully their efforts will be bountifully rewarded with a GEJ victory as well as appointments to any future offices they might desire. Way to go people; and may these guys' vocal cords never whimper nor tremble nor quaver. Governor Ayodele Fayose and Spokesperson Femi Fani Kayode are doing one heck of a very, very, good job for the campaign and Icheoku seriously means it as literally said. Icheoku says it is GEJ all the way, so ON MARCH 28, VOTE RIGHT, VOTE GEJ.

HILARY CLINTON'S EMAILGATE, A 99 PROBLEM?

Icheoku queries, is having email problem one of the worst or least problem for a politician to worry about or is this particular problem, triggered by emailing, not your ordinary Joe or Jane problem? What made this particular email problem to assume the current air of its own that it is seemingly threatening an otherwise all-coast-clear clinching of the Democratic presidential candidate nomination ticket by Hillary Clinton? Why all the ruse and ruckus being raised and generated by whether or not Hillary Clinton used a personal email or government's email account during her term as Secretary of State of the United States? Should it matter? Does it matter and would it impact her chances assuming she steps forward as the next presidential candidate of the Democratic Party?

Just when Icheoku thought (The) Donald Trump and his hair problem is an example of one really serious problem for anyone to have, here comes Hillary Clinton with some hellish email problem and you ask yourself which of the two problems would one rather indeed have? But with everything politics, which the current issue is of course, the real question is who wants Hillary Clinton stopped and  her momentum as the inevitable candidate deflated? Who is the grim-reaper that has generated this controversy now to try and stop her intended campaign for the presidency of the United States of America - the only woman to seriously so do, if she does? These are some questions Icheoku is looking forward for answers in the nearest future; but all these heat being generated over whether or not she used private emails or server is somewhat a needless sideshow.

Luckily she has braved it by stepping forward and answering all questions any one had regarding the matter; and hopefully the matter would now rest, barring any discovery of any illegality or a cover-up of any crime. Icheoku says the unfortunate thing serving America is that the vocal decibels of those who want to get you or pull you down always outweigh those rooting for you; admitted that at the end of the day, most would come around to support you once you show that you are not miffed up or disturbed by the pile of dirt being thrown at you. Icheoku is hopeful, that America, having elected a black-man president, is finally ready to consider the female specie for president and Hillary Clinton is or would be that one. As with voting rights, it usually appears that black people are considered first before females and so will it be with the presidency in 2017 when Hillary will be sworn in as the first female president of the United States. Or who will not be happy to see Bill Clinton playing the First Lady's role in reverse. What a problem to have as Icheoku believes many people would, any day, trade such for some other stuff troubling their lives.

YORUBA OBAS ARE USELESS, NO WE ARE NOT - OBAS?

Icheoku says it appears that the line in the sand has finally been drawn between enraged Yoruba Obas and their wayward son Bola Tinubu, who disparaged them, calling all but three of them, useless? To demonstrate their disaffection and disillusionment for being so denigrated and called useless, Yoruba Obas have decided to rally together to show Bola Tinubu that they are still the only true custodians of the Yoruba race. To do this, they have decided to boycott Bola Tinubu and his presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari and instead, have thrown their unalloyed support for President Goodluck Jonathan.

Yoruba Obas gathered at Ife recently and with their traditional blessings, fortified and assured Jonathan that Aso Rock is his come March 28, 2015. According to them,  they cannot afford to risk a life of ostracision under a Bola Tinubu's managed Muhammadu Buhari's presidency. A risk simply too grave to take and which they are not prepared for, especially with someone who already regarded them so lowly as to call them useless. Icheoku says to Nigerians of Yoruba Southwest, you must therefore listen to the wise counsel of your rulers and together, follow them to chastise Bola Tinubu for so denigrating your traditional institution. So on March 28, VOTE GEJ. With your votes, assure the rest of Nigerians that you are on the side of your Obas and that you are voting against Bola Tinubu and his Muhammadu Buhari as well as his denigration of you Obas. Please sons and daughters of Oduduwa, assure Nigerians that your Obasa ares till very useful, VOTE GEJ.

SACK JEGA NOW - GANI ADAMS

SAE RACIST CHANT, NOT PECULIAR TO OKLAHOMA BUT WIDESPREAD?

Icheoku says until caught, it does not exist, it did not happen; but we all know that racism is a fact of life in America and it cuts across every sphere and strata of the American society. It is a fact of life and anyone saying otherwise is either in denial or is not brave enough to acknowledge a fact of daily living in a racist American society. Where does racism not exists in our American society or the better question should be, is there any place where racism is excluded in America? Is it with a Supreme Court Judge mouthing "THATS NOT TRUE" at an America president simply because the color of his skin is not the agreeable skin color of occupants of the White House? Is it a State Governor pointing her accusatory finger at an American president because as a "boy-nigger" he must do as told? Is it in a Congressman interrupting and shouting "YOU LIE" at an American president during his State of the Union address in the Congress? Is it now in the latest effort of some Senators to undermine a sitting United States president from performing his purely exclusive executive function of negotiating international treaties and foreign policies with regard to the Iranina nuclear negotiations? Is it in our everyday life in America where certain jobs are no brainer for peoples of color and when you manage to secure one, at a lower wage below your comparative white colleague? Is it in a basket ball owner ordering his paramour not to bring those NIGGERS to his game? Is it in different neighborhoods for different people? Is it in different schools for different peoples children? Please let somebody please tell Icheoku where in America is racisim not a fact of life?

Racism is the underbelly of America which to the extent it is not discussed or spoken of, does not exist? Needless to factor in the numerous black people shot and killed nearly everyday by white police officers without any repercussion? So Icheoku sometimes get pissed off when some trivial race issue like drunken frat boys and girls having a jolly good time, are hung out to dry in this fashion merely because they are voicing what they witnessed their parents, uncles, aunties and other relatives drum in their ear while growing up. They are being hung out to dry simply because another drunk captured a glimpse with a camera phone, of what is a daily fact of life in America? Is it in our factories that colored people are not being called names? Is it on television stations that only certain color is good enough to appear?Just name it.

Anyway, Icheoku does not buy into all these holier than thou shouters screaming that Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity of University of Oklahoma murdered sleep by singing "If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands; There will never be a NIGGER in SAE, clap your hands: You hang him from a tree but he can never sign with me, clap your hands." Yes NIGGERS were hung in America in the past and today NIGGERS are being hung by state sanctioned legal system and prsion system that is heavily skewed against people of color. Their song or action is nothing new in America, whether "inappropriate or disgusted", because this is what they learnt from their parents and surrounding environment wherein RACISM thrives and still does till today. They were raised that way and thats the only thing they know and they learnt from their parents. Many of them did not go to a mixed school or neighborhood or even church; so why would they not conclude that it is okay to put down people who do not look like them? They heard about NIGGERS being hung without consequence, so why would not think it is acceptable to hang colored people?

Icheoku adds that even the University President David Boren is not himself innocent of the fact of consequence and is merely pandering to present emotional outburst. Those frat guys and gals, caught on the video were just unlucky to be captured on video, mouthing what is prevalent refrain in America. Icheoku says the solution is for America to accept that racisim is a clear and present danger of existence in America and then encourage its discussion among the various groups, towards finding a possibly meeting grounds on managing it as may be equitable. But for anyone to pretend that it does not exist or that he or she does not nurse racial tendencies  inside of him or her is to outrightly lie through one's teeth. Racism is part and parcel of the American society and the SAE were only being scapegoating now simply because they were caught on camera, period.
