ICHEOKU ENDORSES OBAMA FOR A SECOND TERM

Has he done all that he said or promised he would do, no. Has he done everything he ought to do or possibly could do, nope, But under the circumstance he found America in 2009, he has done enough within his first term to earn and therefore merits a second term to finish what he has begun. Like children in the back seat of a vehicle on a journey often asks, "are we there yet?" Icheoku responds no; but says the destination is within the horizon and we shall get there soon. Americans should know that the country is travelling on a course that is predetermined, with a driver that is razor-sharply focused and the destination already within sight. We are moving forward and the compass confirms that we are on the right trajectory and shall get there soon and very soon. Therefore lets stay the course as there is no need changing the driver mid-journey or starting the journey denovo with a new road-map or changing the route so far into the travel especially when the one already navigating us out of our mess is doing a good job. Icheoku agrees with millions of Americans that President Obama gave The Mitt some tutorials on foreign affairs in today's final debate. Mitt Romney was so flabbergasted by the marshaling of foreign policy objective by the president that he practically agreed with President Barack Obama on literally every point. This found Mitt Romney changing all his previously held positions and once again living up to his sobriquet as Mister Flip-flopping in chief. Mitt Romney was so pummeled by the president that he started singing his known refrain of "me too" to whatever position the president held or was for. So Americans, you have seen today the men who wants to be your president and commander in chief - one who is already tested and has so far proved his mettle and one, a novitiate, trying rather too hard to lie his way into the White House. In this troubled times and in a world too shaky, we need a steady hand on the tiller as the later is too much of a risk for America to gamble her future with. So, choose today and choose wisely, who shall sensibly pilot our affairs the next four years including not starting another war we cannot afford or causing more troubles for America particularly with Russia and China. Congratulations BO, we are marching FORWARD and this November, VOTE OBAMA.

The president did exactly what he knew we expected from him to do and boy, was he what and who we elected in 2008 to lead us. The president smoked The Mitt; he showed the Mormon bishop pepper. This November 6, give him 4 more years of continuing the onward march FORWARD, carrying everyone along. VOTE OBAMA, he earned it, he gets it, he gets your back, he gets the job done and he will complete the job. We have to together finish what we have begun with a man of character who says what he means and means what he says! 

Boy was the boy wonder is back and swinging at the Mormon bishop and lying scumbag who wants to con his way into the White House. Thank you President Barack Obama for reassuring America that they did not make any mistake when they first hired you last November 2008 and that what was left undone would be accomplished within the next four years.

BEWARE BUYERS REMORSE AMERICA, ROMNEY IS A FRAUD.

The Mormon bishop from Massachusetts has a secret agenda and this is why he is doing and saying whatever you will like to hear to secure the presidency. Mitt Romney is a Mormon and Mormons believe Jesus Christ landed in America after his transfiguration and told their founder Joseph Smith to establish the church of Later days Saints aka Mormon. So the correlative is that since Mormon was founded in America, America ought to be like a Vatican of the Mormon church and this is one of the driving forces of Mitt Romney's campaign of lies and double-speak. Do you also know that Mormons believe that they are "gods" and that there is no heaven or hell; but that those found good will inherit the earth entirely to themselves. Therefore Icheoku asks, does a religion which thinks this way still qualify as Christianity or a Christian religion?

Could the Southern Baptist minister who once called Mormon a cult be right and if so why is Mitt Romney's religion not occupying the center-stage of discussion and anal-exam in this election campaign season; afterall in 2008, Obama was accused of being a "MUSLIM" and at the same time of spending over 20 years in Jeremiah Wright's CHURCH? Which begs the question, how could a MUSLIM spend over twenty years in a church when American landscape is fully dotted with mosques or was then candidate Obama a "MUSTAIN" - an Icheoku manufactured acronym for a religious hybrid adherent who is both a Muslim and a Christian all in one?

Regrettably, Americans are given to shows, thanks to the influence of Hollywood and television fantasy-themed shows, and are gradually being misled and beguiled by the smooth talking snake-oil sales man Mitt Romney. Icheoku warns, if Mitt wins this election, there will be a lot of depression in America and so many people might even commit suicide in protest when they no longer see the man who represents hope in the White House. A mean and alien-looking Mitt is not a good trade-off or exchange or replacement for the all American story we have now and President Obama has done enough to earn him a second term. Mitt is mean and so please America, don't bite of the forbidden apple represented in Mitt Romney. This November, vote your interest; vote for a man who has worn your shoes before and knows how it hurts; vote for a man who has paid mortgages and knows how it drives your blood pressure high each time another month end is approaching; vote for a man who has had student loans and knows what it means for debt collectors to ring your phone off the hook; vote for a man who truly wants to help you have a real opportunity at crossing over the economic chasm in this country because himself was once on the other side of the divide.

Mitt Romney does not get it because he has never lived the life of the ordinary Joe and Jane of America. Mitt does not understand and cannot feel your pains because he is a son of privilege and has enjoyed a life of privilege since birth and still making out like a bandit today with a net-worth in excess of $250 million dollars. Mitt has made Russia mad. Mitt has insulted Britain. Mitt has denigrated Spain. The Middle East is riled up and smarting for a showdown with America's Mitt. Iran might get the hammer dragging America into another costly war we cannot afford to wage now with so many domestic issues needing all the funding they can get. The Chinese are waiting for America to make the mistake of "electing" Mitt before they will tell us how truly pissed off they at Mitt. America, ask yourself what are the cost benefits of these scenarios with having a Mitt Romney's president or are we far better off continuing our travel on the more sensible path which we are currently on?

As you already know, President Obama will be just fine assuming the worst happens and he loses the election. The people that will be shafted are those of you 99% as well as the new 47% Americans the President is trying so hard to help lift out of their misery index; but the choice is now yours to prove that you are truly the majority in America by voting to protect what is dear to you. Icheoku says if Mitt is "elected" and by these same people, since the majority decides and they are the supposedly the majority, then they deserve whatever comes down the pike to them from a Mitt Romney's White House. And to refresh their minds, these assured destruction include letting the banks foreclose on all houses owing any mortgage; letting the rebounding auto industry fall back into foreclosure, letting Wall Street run wild again; letting Insurance companies deny people with pre-existing condition coverage or drop your coverage once you get sick. That women who get raped will have to prove under oath that the rape was not legitimate before they can see a doctor is also a possibility? Remember fundamentalist Paul Ryan is Mitt Romney's running mate and the far right extremist wing of the Republican Party are waiting to hijack a Mitt's administration as soon as he is "sworn in?" America, we cannot afford these retrogressive ideology and allow it yoke us down again or to start the next four years in another cold war fog. What we need now is to cement the gains of the past four years and continue our progressive march forward and only one candidate thinks this way. America, think and move FORWARD with Obama, this November VOTE OBAMA.

THERE WAS A COUNTRY, A GOOD READ..

Professor Wole Soyinka in his 1972 locus classicus, "The Man Died," wrote:- "The man dies in him who keeps silent in the face of tyranny." Professor Chinua Achebe decided that his manliness shall not die. He refused to keep silent or be quietened down. As a man whose manhood is still alive, Professor Chinua Achebe has spoken out against the injustice that was meted out to the people of Biafra by two known Nigerian tyrants, Obafemi Awolowo and Yakubu Gowon. Why some people are chewing him out for chronicling facts of consequence which took place not too long ago for their memories to have faded or become somewhat too hazy for its recollection is simply beyond Icheoku's comprehension; except that evil thrives when good men chose to do nothing. Now those evil people are in addition, mad as hell that someone is finally speaking up and speaking out about a sordid Nigeria past which still haunts her till today. Thankfully the same Wole Soyinka also once said that history are kept for a reason that its actors may not later dispute what was recorded? 

Regrettably many of the apologists calling Professor Chinua Achebe out for his audacity in pointing an accusatory finger on the two devils - Awolowo and Gowon, in their sanctimonious adumbration, missed the salient point raised by Achebe in "There was a country", especially as it appertain to the two principal subjects being reproached. It was Awolowo and not the entire Yoruba race that was called out by Achebe in his Biafran war memoirs and so if there is any beef with anyone it is with Awolowo and not the entire Oduduwa clan. Awolowo was the sole perpetrator of the infra-dig which roils Achebe as well as millions of other Igbo people who were shafted during the Biafran war, as a result of crushing and inhumane policies put together and implemented to the letter by Obafemi Awolowo. Icheoku will not rehash all the cruelty dished out to the Igbo people by that human excrement, but suffice it that history books are brimming with them for those curious minded to feast on. What happened is not an ancient fiction but a very recent historical fact, al things considered since the Jewish people still talk about the holocaust and African Americans the slavery, so why not a mere forty plus year genocide of the Biafran people? 

Anyway Icheoku commends Professor Chinua Achebe for his bravery and audacity in calling a spade a spade by holding Awolowo responsible and accountable for the hand he dealt the people of Biafra, Achebe did this, fully aware that many of those herd-mentality plagued humans of the Southwest would come out swinging and charging at him for daring to call their deity out on his intransigence. Men like Chinua Achebe are very hard to come by and his latest work highly commendable; a matter made more pertinent because of his very advanced age and the fact that our other hero Odumegwu Ojukwu went to his grave with his memoirs, which he promised Nigerians but never had time to bring it out before he passed on. Icheoku hopes other actors, men and women with actual and true knowledge about what happened to Igbo people during that war of survival, shall stand up following in Achebe's footprint, eyeball the devil and tell the world their stories. The world needs to know and Biafran future generation needs to know their struggle which ensured their continued existence in Nigeria today despite the shenanigans of genocidal machinations of two rather war criminals, Yakubu Gowon and Obafemi Awolowo who wished Biafra a total extinction. But at last, they were not God and their both families are still paying the price for what these two animals did to women and children of Biafra. 

"There was a country" is a good historical account of the Biafran war and Icheoku strongly recommends it as a must read for all who want to understand the havoc wrecked on a people by two vicious, very mean and perverted fellows named Gowon and Awolowo. To their greatest chagrin, Biafran people survived their plots and are thriving well under the circumstance in a country which has stacked so much against them. Icheoku says who now laughs last - an Awolowo that none of his children is thriving in Yoruba Southwest political equation or a literally castrated Yakubu Gowon, who is now living on a semi self exile in London while his Berom people are being savagely murdered by the Hausa/Fulani herdsmen in Plateau state; while he stands aloof in hopeless bewilderment wondering what happened to his being part of Northern Nigeria? Gowon's people, the hunters of Biafrans are now themselves being brutally hunted by the Hausa/Fulani real owners of Northern Nigeria. That makes Yakubu Gowon and his people neither here nor there as they have strangely found out to their chagrin that they are not accepted Northern Nigeria bona fides as the real Northern Nigerians wants them wiped out and off their regional hemisphere? 

Icheoku says accursed be all those people or persons whose wicked plans caused untold harm to a people who did nothing to provoke a war or their planned extermination from Nigeria. People whose only offense was trying to defend themselves from an already begun extermination agenda in the hands of Gowon's led Nigerian vindictive Nigeria's army. Icheoku says to hell with Awolowo and all those his apostles who are completely blinded by their deaf and dumb follower-ship of him not to see the gist of the angst expressed in Achebe's "There was a country." That it was not an indictment of the entire Yoruba people, many of whom fought with and for Biafra, but a targeted pointing out of Awolowo for what he did during Biafran war to a people who did not deserve his darts. Ditto Yakubu Gowon and some of his then Middle-belt people who laid in wait and slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Igbo people as they made their way back to the East fleeing the world's worst known but rarely mentioned genocidal ethnic cleansing. 

MITT MAY HAVE WON THE DEBATE, BUT?

Mitt Romney came charging and mesmerized millions of watching Americans and others world-wide with his "better" credentials to be president. The theater was good, his delivery eloquent and stage presence well felt; but the question bothering Icheoku as well as other millions of Americans is which Mitt Romney showed up in the debate? Is it the Mitt Romney who is very mean and uncaring and who says a lot of bad things about the poor and down-trodden in private? Is it the Mitt Romney who derided 47% Americans as victims and freeloaders? Is it the Mitt Romney who will kill Elmo and PBS? Is it the Mitt Romney who did not pay his taxes and if he did, paid at a rate far below the average rate Joe and Jane Americans paid? Is it the Mitt Romney, the Mormon bishop, who the Baptist Southern Christians called his religion a CULT? Is it the Mitt Romney who speaks on both sides of his mouth depending on the audience before him? The Mitt Romney that showed up in the debate is definitely not the same Mitt Romney Americans have come to loathe so much because of his scary positions on all things that make America a better and caring nation.

Icheoku asks, which copy of Mitt Romney showed up in the debate and bamboozled Americans into thinking that he will make a good president? The problem however is that a man who turns tricks with his positions each time and every time he is cornered lacks the character to be a good president. The problem is that a man who cannot maintain a stand on an issue but pivots as soon as it becomes uncomfortable cannot make a good president. The problem is that a man who does not stand on his words but flip flops constantly and depending on the audience before him cannot be a good president. So America, how does anyone know if the same Mitt Romney that showed up in the debate would be the same Mitt Romney that would show up to govern assuming the accident of his presidency becomes a reality.

This is where the cookie crumbled regarding his stellar performance in the debate and Americans should beware of the product represented in the Mitt. Mitt Romney will force Russia into a shooting war with America if? Mitt Romney will force the Chinese hands too if? Mitt Romney will cause more trouble around the world for America just to prove a point if? So do not be fooled by his Hollywood-styled performance last Wednesday because what you saw will not be what you will get. Icheoku says that Mitt Romney is a fluke, a fake and a fraud and if you are in doubt, just look into his eyes and you will see peering back at you a man who wants to gut everything that sustains your life and living conditions. This Mitt is just too Mean to be president of all. So please don't fall for that display; please don't vote against your interest; please reject Mitt Romney for he stands against the 99% as well as additional 47% Americans. This November, VOTE OBAMA; he is a steady hand manning the tiller and it can only get better. America we are moving FORWARD, and FORWARD we shall continue to move.

DEBATE NUMBER ONE, MITT OUTFLANKED BARACK.

As the presidential debate number one goes into history books, Icheoku makes bold to say that watching President Obama during the debate left much to be desired. Either he was tired or pissed off at something or indeed did not prepared well enough for the debate. Our verdict, like millions of other Americans and interested foreigners alike that tuned in, it was Mitt Romney's night in Denver. 

However Icheoku disagrees with the margin being ascribed to Mitt's out-performance of the president and would rather state that it hovers around 57 against the president's 51 percentage points respectively. Some good news however is that the debate no matter how erudite and lofty, would not necessarily affect the votes of die in the wool partisans; moreso the topic centered on the economy which is Mitt Romney's strongest argument why he want to be president and President Obama's Achilles heel shadowing his reelection bid. What is Icheoku saying, that Mitt Romney has fired his best and probably final shot and there are two more battles yet ahead, in areas President Obama have succeeded and would take his own pound of flesh then - foreign relations and keeping America safe. May be like Don Corleone said in The Godfather, the economy-debate might be the bad news that is preferably better served first, for President Obama. As going forward with the debates, the Mitt having spent his most lethal weapon can only look as the president takes him to task to explain which Mitt Americans will see as president and why he says one thing in private and says completely different thing when in public? 

Further, it would appear that the president, like millions of other Americans that tuned in, was surprised by the different Mitt Romney that showed up for the debate - a somewhat more amiable and jocularly beaming Mitt, that was entirely different from the stiff and woody Mitt America has been living with these past several months. Icheoku is not a fan but would admit that the Mitt Romney that turned out for this debate left impressions; although not enough to persuade us differently with our priceless vote come November 6. Last but not the least is that Mitt Romney is a seasoned salesman who could easily sell snake oil to anyone or even sand to Sahara desert dweller and so was in a better position to push his sloganeering agenda past a very articulate and methodical president who came across somehow unsure of his positions or was seen deferring so much to Mitt Romney as he constantly used the words "Mitt and I agree....?" 

Anyway be the debate as it may, the fact of this election is that Mitt is very mean and does not and would not care about so many Americans on the bottom of the food chain. However, Icheoku is in agreement that people should be taught rather how to fish than to be perpetually handed fish; but posits that the weaning-off process should be a gradual one as opposed to the cold-turkey approach Mitt and Ryan are saying the would implement. 

So in conclusion, Icheoku says that luckily the campaign still has more than four weeks to go and the auto industry-reliant Ohio and Pennsylvania states would not forget who saved their life-blood when it mattered most and who wanted it junked. Further that a man who would not release his tax records probably has something he is hiding and suffers a credibility question. to be president. That a man who is not consistent but constantly speaks from both sides of his mouth is sure not the type of president America desires or deserves at this time. Needless to add that America is safer today because Osama Bin Laden is gone and we know under whose watch that came to pass. In any event, America, lets allow the president's planted seeds of tomorrow's better and stronger economy mature into a harvest that the plurality of Americans would enjoy and not rush him out the door considering the enormity of the disaster which he inherited from the previous administration. So on November 6, VOTE OBAMA and do not let the president suffer a defeat in the hands of the man who was defeated by Senator John McCain who the president defeated in 2008. Moreso the president has done good job so far and should be allowed to complete his legally tolerable second term.

BACKWARDNESS HAS ECLIPSED NIGERIA - AKINJIDE

"Nigeria is an imploded society which has socially and economically shrunk to a point of recurrent and generalized malfunction because a great deal of its vitality has evaporated as a result of an extensive degradation of its social values and economic capabilities. One only needs to keep both eyes open to observe in one’s daily surrounding the multiplication of supporting evidences as well as the depth to which the disease has penetrated our society." - Richard Akinjide on the occasion of Nigeria's 52nd independence day anniversary. Icheoku says 'beeni' and couldn't agree with the high chief more. The worst case is that the supposed leadership has not identified the fundamental problem militating against Nigeria's awakening and by necessary implication could not succinctly articulate the way forward out of the malaise. Icheoku posits what is 52 years of life if it was a life lived so far without meaning.

THE WORLD IS TOO SOPHISTICATED FOR ROMNEY - NEWT GINGRICH?

"The Romney campaign has yet to find a thematic way of explaining itself and laying out in a clear, crisp way the difference between Romney and Obama. And I think that, frankly, is a problem. Romney's conundrum is his rigidity and inability to navigate out of his pigeonholed position. They seem to have this overly methodical model where they go out and keep saying the same thing over and over again, and the world's too fluid, the world's too sophisticated for that." - Newt Gingrich. 

Icheoku says a direct and candid admonition of the Mitt Romney's inept campaign has never been this sizzling, Give it up to the bomb-throwing Newt, a man between whom and The Mitt there is no love lost, the man who divorced his cancer-stricken wife on her hospital bed. Anyway America what do you expect from the man who is still nursing his demolition in the hands of The Mitt during their last presidential primaries. But hey, sometimes, the truth can even come from imbeciles and Mitt Romney better retool his campaign and messaging now that The Newt have joined those Republicans already expressing a buyer's remorse; to avoid a total loss of face defeat come November. But what is birther-in-chief  Donald Trump and Russian sighter from Alaska Sarah Palin saying, now that their candidate has grossly proved himself both incompetent and unintelligent, cannot run a campaign and would be a disaster of a president should the unexpected happen. But gladly enough, Americans realized on time that a Mitt Romney's presidency would be too toxic for America and they are fleeing his ship as soon as they can get up their butt and dive off. 

A GOOD MAN IS A GOOD MAN - MADONNA

"I was being ironic on stage. Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim - though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is. And what if he were? The point I was making is that a good man is a good man, no matter who he prays to. I don't care what religion Obama is - nor should anyone else in America." - MADONNA, the material girl explaining her reference to President Barack Obama as a "black Muslim?" Icheoku says America gets it except for few stuck in the past who would rather  a "nigger" does not occupy "their" White House.

VOTE FOR ME 'COS AM LIKE OBAMA - MITT ROMNEY?

Icheoku says give it up to The Mitt, the magician with so many tricks up his hat. When American voters think they have seen and heard all that the Mormon bishop has for them, here comes a campaign-doozy, asking voting Americans to vote for him because he is like Obama? Icheoku queries why would any voter then settle for a clone when the original is still very much around? Why would the voting public vote for a "like" when the "main" is still around? Why would Americans vote for a knock-off when they can still get the real thing? I don't know about you, but Icheoku makes bold to say that it is about time The Romney campaign received a long overdue shot in the arm or counselling or a total and complete make-over to remain in contention and competitive. If it means dropping the fundamentalist extremist Paul Ryan from the ticket, so be it; since he brought nothing to the campaign in the first place and have only served as a complete drag to a once somewhat viable campaign.

What in the hell is the woody-Mitt doing running this lifeless campaign and in such a shoddy manner that would make Newt Gingrich last mid-summer's dream appear "highly organised" juxtaposed with the mess that is the current Romney's effort? Is he the same Mitt that allegedly had the "stellar" outing with Bain Capital or did Icheoku hear he never did the heavy lifting at Bain personally but "harvested" the resounding success as his? Just hear the Mormon bishop from the liberal state of Massachusetts say in his latest campaign advertisement that "he and President Obama both care about the poor and the needy of our society? That his Massachusetts "Romney I Don't Care" health reform is similar to "OBAMACARE" which shows his compassionate character just like Obama? That his foreign policy is like President Obama's? And that Bill Clinton equally endorsed him?"

Therefore, Icheoku asks, what then is The Mitt doing running against his "mirror-image?" What then is Mr Flip-flop running on and why does he still wants to unseat an incumbent who he agrees shares many of his philosophies? Needless to add that the same Mitt Romney has assured Americans that President Barack Obama is a nice guy in addition to sharing many of his policies and beliefs. Late Senator Ted Kennedy, it would appear, rightly summed Mitt Romney up when he said, given extra few weeks, Mitt Romney might as well vote for his opponent. Icheoku is gradually but surely getting to a point of conviction that come November 6, the real Bain Capital Mitt Romney might not vote for the present caricature Mitt Romney running for president; but instead would cast his vote rightly and correctly, as would millions of other rational and reasonable Americans, for the right choice - President Barack Obama. On November, vote wisely, vote your interest, VOTE OBAMA.

MITT ROMNEY'S CAMPAIGN SUCKS - PEGGY NOONAN.

Icheoku didn't say that, Republican columnist did; and who are we to fault that assertion. Admitted that the manner Mitt Romney ran his campaign so far is giving some of us reason to question if indeed he truly, personally ran Bain Capital?  According to Peggy Noonan, "It’s time to admit the Romney campaign is an incompetent one. This week I called it incompetent, but only because I was being polite, I really meant ‘rolling calamity." 

Icheoku says when oracles of the Republican Party begin a cadaverous feasting on their own presidential candidate, the implication is that the candidate has indeed gone beyond being not so good to being dead on arrival. It is therefore about time such candidate suspended his campaign or re-organised or at least in part, in order to save face. If Icheoku was advising the campaign of the Mormon bishop from liberal state of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney, we would suggest he just pack it up now and quit the Republican party for good, if not politics entirely. No candidate can go the whole hog of winning a presidential election without the ardent and active support of his political party as his core base and Mitt Romney, who the Republican Party lunatic base never had any love lost for, will not be an exception. The only earth-shaking thing The Mitt can do now is to go out with a bang - just throw the Republican Party under the bus by abandoning his current effort. He will make history by forcing a situation where a major party did not contest the presidential election and thereby permanently etch his name in the history books as that candidate who chickened out in order to get back at his party which has literally abandoned him. 

MITT ROMNEY'S BROWN YOU ARE DOING A HECK OF A GOOD JOB MOMENT?

In a manner reminiscent of former President George Bush's unmeritously praising of then FEMA director Scott Brown during Katrina, the Republican Party's presidential candidate, the Mormon bishop from the state of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney, has lavished praises on his beleaguered presidential campaign, calling it very effective. Icheoku decries this assessment as one of those calls which Mitt Romney makes without a full and complete real appraisal of the situation on the ground. Any independent observer and watchers alike, who have followed the many potholes the Mitt Romney's campaign have struggled to dig themselves out of these past weeks, would agree that the Mitt over-exaggerated and over-compensated his campaign when he called it "very effective." Americans know what the real deal with the Romney's campaign is; and only a less truthful assessor would, taking all that have transpired with the campaign during the week just ended into consideration, still go forth to term it as very positive.

Icheoku is an ardent supporter of President Obama and anything the other side says or does that would continue to highlight their many negatives on why they should not be elected, including not being truthful with Americans, makes my day. However on the occasion of Mitt Romney wrongly assessing the parlous state of his campaign or being completely in denial of the real situation on the ground, gives us cause to ponder if Mitt Romney actually lives in a reality-tinged world or he just have his own world where reality means a different thing.

Anyway, any follower of his lackluster campaign so far would agree that the Mitt is not "human" as his pronouncements, actions and mannerisms has not met that expectations required of a man running for the highest office in our land and who truly desires to be elected as our president. From his self-acclaimed "acute conservative" tag, to his 'I don't really care about the poor of the society,' to his refusal to release his tax records, to his choosing of extremist fundamentalist Paul Ryan as his vice presidential candidate, to his refusing to run on his record as Massachusetts governor, to his unending flip-flops on issues and to his latest and craziest "47%" comment, one is forced to think that this Mitt is not deep enough to be president. When his gaffes on foreign relations is factored in, then America has waiting to be their president, a man who would plunge the country into further and unending hostilities with the rest of the world.

The solution is simple, his candidacy MUST BE REJECTED as too toxic for America. No more wars, no more over-heating the world polity, no more irrational foreign policy initiatives, no more gloom and doom for Americans as well as the rest of the world.

Until November, despite Romney's claim that he is 'got a very effective campaign which is doing a very good job and doesn't need a turnaround,' Icheoku is not in a position to correctly decode the type of campaign being ran by Team-Romney; but suffice it to say that it is closer to Peggy Noonan assessment of "a rolling calamity". This also begs the question, did Mitt Romney personally run Bain Capital or he did it by proxy otherwise why are those alleged successes of Bain capital not being replicated and resonated in his presidential campaign which for most part has entered an ICU. But Mitt Romney lives in a different world and probably is seeing it from the perspective of a mediocre who reached thus far, defeating other more conservative Republicans to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Republican Party and might be satisfied with simply wearing the badge of the 2012 Republican Party presidential candidate. Only time will tell.

ATTACKS ON OBAMA, 99% PERSONAL.

Icheoku says anyone who has lived in racist America understands fully well what underlying factor is particularly fueling the virulent attack on President Barack Obama and which has remained incessantly unabated ever since he was sworn in as 44th president of the United States of America. IT IS RACISM, period. So many white Americans have not and cannot get a handle around the fact that a "NIGGER" is their president and is occupying "their" White House. Admitted that the economy has not fully recovered, but at least it has left the ICU where the former administration checked it into and it can only be forward movement to full recovery thenceforth. But for these people, it does not  matter and even if the economy were to recover like it is on steroid, they would still find a reason to crisis and demonize the president. Like they gave credit for killing Bin Laden on the previous administration, were the economy to bounce back, they would give kudos to George Bush because a "Nigger" can never do right by these folks especially when the "Nigger" went against the grain and is "usurping" their White House? 

These folks see and turn red literally speaking, each time they turn on their television sets or tune their radio and hear the name President Barack Obama being mentioned as the president. We live it daily and all minorities of and in America will gladly attest to the daunting heavy load, being a minority in America is, regardless of how successful such minority is or not. Even Chris Rock once joked how a poor white trash gets preferred treatment than some black guy like him with all his millions and you wonder shouldn't America be color blind by this 2012? So it does not matter what President Obama does or accomplishes, in these peoples eyes, he is simply not a "fit" and "proper" person to be occupying the White House; which one hick once told me was renamed the White House for a reason. 

Icheoku says Hank Williams Jr. speaks for majority of Obama haters and bashers alike, many of who are rather coy about publicly airing what their contrived heart churns each time and every time concerning President Obama being in the White House. An unapologetic redneck who once compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler has now gone full throttle to categorically state that "they, his ilks of White Americans, hate OBAMA." Icheoku must say that so many White Americans though appreciate the good work President Obama is doing but would rather see a paler-skinned man in the White House than the "tanned" current occupier. In the words of rabid Hank Williams Jr., speaking of President Obama, he said "We've got a Muslim for a president who hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming, loves gays, and we hate him!" 

Icheoku reiterates that the same President Obama who they accuse of being a disciple of Reverend Jeremiah Wright and a permanent fixture at his church, spending over twenty years therein is still being branded a MUSLIM? To this people being a Muslim is a crime and you wonder whether the freedom of religion enshrined in the constitution was somehow qualified to be 'as long as it is a Christian religion?' They said he hates cowboys and cowgirls yet many of his cabinet secretaries are cowboys and cowgirls including Ken Salazar and Kathy Sibelius who comes from Kansas of all places, speaking of cow towns and honky-tonky girl? They said he hates fishing and farming yet no president has ever supported farmers and fishermen alike more than this president and one of his most trusted friend Vilsak is in charge of the Agriculture department? Now he is being accused of "loving gays" and you wonder what is it that he is accused of that is different from the teaching of our Lord and Master Jesus about not calling unholy what our God has made or the physician being here for those who are sick and not those who are well. But if Icheoku may ask, what is wrong in loving God's own children equally without boundaries or demarcation just because of who someone chose to love? 

They have accused the president of MURDER (the blood on his hand comment). Hank Williams Siamese twin Rush Limbaugh once accused President Barack Obama of "murdering" Somalia pirates. They have accused him of palling with terrorists. They have accused him of being a communist, a socialist, a re-distributor in chief, fascist, anarchist and all manner of despicable things with which they masquerade their racist disdain for the president. They have also accused him of not being an American which Mitt Romney recently hinted on too. They have accused the president of being a mole for some astral forces readying to destroy America as we know it. Icheoku is pissed off at the level of acerbity these people have descended into and their asinine barrage of attacks directed at the president forces one conclusion - majority of them are not because of his job performance but rather personal. These attacks are coming just because President Obama looks somewhat different from the "usual and normal" occupier of the White House. 

But no matter the outcome of this November election, the fact of the matter remains that a "NIGGER" has occupied "their" White House as president and not millions of Hank Williams or Rush Limbaughs of racist America right-wing can change or wipe clean that feat. So if comes November, these BACKWARD thinking and HURRAY-it-is-deja vu 1950 again Americans succeed, the only people that will actually suffer or hurt are those hapless Americans President Obama is trying so hard to level the playing field for. It will not be Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan or Hank Williams or Rush Limbaugh or even the President himself. No these people are going to be okay no matter what. So if Americans are persuaded by bitterness and hatred and tonnage of lies to VOTE AGAINST THEIR INTEREST, so be it and we shall all survive. America will endure no matter who wins in November; but Icheoku implores these hate-mongers to please wisen up and remember it is 2012 America, life is dynamic and America has since moved on without them.

Governance is not just about the economy, which this president has done a lot already. It is about foreign policy, it is about defense, it is about America's safety. It is about world relationships, it is about carrying everybody along, it is about boarder security, it is about fairness (abolition of don't ask don't tell), it is about compassion, it is about being your brother's keeper and in all these departments President Obama has performed creditably well. He has also kept America safe and gravely wounded Al-Queida as an organisation. This is the reason the other side is not going anywhere near these his accomplishments but are pigeonholed in just one area - the slow but steadily recovering economy. But unlike John Kerry's swift boating, many civilized and knowledgeable Americans shall and must not allow the Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to get away with pulling a wool over their eyes or allowed to run against a fictional Obama without accomplishments. President Obama deserves a second term because he is razor-sharp focused on continuing to move America FORWARD and in the right direction. A Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan adventure would be reliving the nightmare that was George W. Bush/Dick Cheney administration all over again. Let us allow President Obama to finish what he has begun as his second term will see a lot more being accomplished and this opportunity must not slid past us. VOTE for maintaining the FORWARD trajectory, VOTE for BARACK OBAMA. HE gets it ; and he has rightfully and merituosly earned a second TERM.

CATHOLIC CHURCH IS SO YESTERDAY AND OUT OF TOUCH. - CARDINAL MARTINI.

Icheoku says you just heard it from the proverbial horse's mouth, a cardinal of the catholic church has just said that the catholic church is simply out of touch and out of date and needs to reform urgently. The catholic cardinal and former archbishop of the church in Milan, a former candidate for the papacy, CardinalCarlo Maria Martini, said in his last interview before his death that the Catholic Church was "200 years out of date."

Icheoku says may be this was a contrite heart speaking out or was it simply an after-thought; otherwise why did the 85year old not speak out earlier during his fraternal sojourn in the catholic church and rise through the ranks to a cardinal? May be he was a company-man cardinal who did not want his gravy train to be messed with and thus silently tagged along until it was almost his death time to speak out. Professor Wole Soyinka of Nigeria once wrote, the man dies in him who keep silent in the face of tyranny and this late archbishop and cardinal might as well pass for such a man who Soyinka spoke about since the ancient doctrines of the church could be interpreted as being tyrannical to modernity especially its rigid view on abortion and gay marriage as well as divorce; yet he kept mum all these years?

Cardinal Martini was of the opinion that the church is stuck in the past and centuries gone by as the world has literally moved on without it. In his words, "Our culture has aged, our churches are big and empty and the church bureaucracy rises up, our rituals and our cassocks are pompous. The Church must admit its mistakes and begin a radical change, starting from the pope and the bishops. The pedophilia scandals oblige us to take a journey of transformation. A woman is abandoned by her husband and finds a new companion to look after her and her children. A second love succeeds. If this family is discriminated against, not just the mother will be cut off but also her children. In this way the Church loses the future generation. The church is simply stated, 200 years out of date. Why don't we rouse ourselves? Are we afraid?" Icheoku says, yes the church is afraid of letting go of its past because it is equally afraid of what the articulated reforms might throw up. Needless to add that Republican Party's vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is one such of a catholic fundamentalist who is stuck up on ancient doctrines and dogmas of the church, which are so antiquated it offends modern sensibilities as simply out of touch and are irreconcilable with today's societal evolutionary needs
