PIERS MORGAN CANCELED: FORCED TO RESIGN BECAUSE OF MEGHAN MARKLE.

ICHEOKU says all it took was a mere 41,000 complaints about a remark that he didn't believe a word about Meghan Markle's claim that she entertained suicidal thoughts because of her racist experience while in the royal household for Piers Morgan's 6 years running gig on British ITV to be over. This is in a country of about 68 million people and a television program that has millions of viewership but British television regulating authority launched an investigation into what was said based on this negligible number of busy bodies, forcing him to resign rather than be humiliated because of his conviction. What exactly is the percentage of 41,000 people out of 68 million population, yet they are allowed them the impetus to control what somebody can freely say on a British television.

ICHEOKU says welcome to Cancel Culture Club British chapter as the American Cancel Culture buzzards have successfully infiltrated the United Kingdom and their complaints, which were probably largely bots, successfully took down one of the foremost personality on British television. With this recorded success, they will only become more emboldened as they seek other targets to destroy and bring down. As it appears now, nobody is allowed to hold contrary opinion or viewpoint on issues anymore and it is either they conform or they are doomed. Piers Morgan dared to have an independent mind by refusing to comply and his job was gone. Meghan Markle said it, she is a woman and women should be believed is their now universal controlling standard and if you dare fall out line, challenge or question anything she said you are gone; and it took just 41,000 complaints for them to launch an investigation about what was said. 

So what if Meghan Markle lied, exaggerated, embellished or even totally made up what she said. Also, even if what she said are true, are people no longer allowed to entertain their own doubts about things other people said, especially in this day and age when so much lies are being told everywhere as seen in some people coming back to recant and apologize for lies which they told, some with far reaching consequences such as resulting death. A French school girl just came out to retract her allegation that her teacher said something bad about Muslim Prophet Mohammed for which the teacher was murdered by an Islamist. As it turned out the student was not even in school the day she claimed her teacher said what she claimed he said  So, if this girl lied why couldn't Meghan Markle too lie, assuming her claims are lies; or is there now a new standard which says that Meghan is infallible and above reproach and whatever comes out of her mouth is the gospel truth. 

If Meghan Markle can have her own truth as expressed in the interview, why can't Piers Morgan or any other person including ICHEOKU be allowed the same level of liberty to have and express their own truth or opinion. Why was what Meghan Markle said not first subjected to the same level of scrutiny of an investigation before being believed. But no, it is Piers Morgan's expression of doubt about what Meghan Markle said that must be investigated as he was not supposed to doubt women because women are automatically believed and Meghan Markle is a woman. Meanwhile Meghan Markle has not adduced or produced any incontrovertible evidence in support of her allegations which created the room for doubts. Her allegations were just her own recollections and the monarchy has come out to say that other version possibly exists. 

This woman is a professional actress for crying out loud and she put an award wining performance during the interview and as far as some people are concerned, she could have been acting a script throughout the interview. It is an honest human disposition to question such performance and nobody should be punished or investigated for reacting to her claims and however they saw fit. People regularly lie about so many life situations including being raped when the person they accused of raping them was never even around the place which place they claimed the rape took place. For example, so many cases of prison sentences have been reversed over the years in America as wrongly convicted individuals were later proved innocent because their conviction was based on false testimony. 

So, Meghan claimed that she had mental breakdown and was suicidal but was not given help in Britain, but she did not tell the watching world during her Oprah interview whether she has since sought therapy upon regaining her freedom in America or did her traumatic experience suddenly dissipate following her great escape from the royal household hostage situation. Everything in life is contextual, the reason there is white and black and of course grey. There is also day and night as well as dusk and dawn; all these variants because things are not always what they seem including certain conclusions and inferences. It is therefore healthy to hold opinions and debate issues no matter how repugnant they may sound of appear to others. It is what oils society particularly mental health and makes us human beings.

What then is the essence of developed thinking if everybody must accept things unquestionably just because of who said them. Why again do lawyers, legislators and advocates still have jobs if debating issues are no longer allowed or tolerated in societies. Why does a coin still have two faces if not in continuation of humanity's tolerance for different perspectives including the right to reject an argument or a position taken as not true and/or correct. Why must one side to a debate always be treated with special deference while the contrarian is scorned and punished. Is this how civilization will continue to thrive or is it a harbinger of damnation awaiting any society that becomes atrophied due to lack of innovation which usually comes from holding different thinking. Such a morphing tunnel-vision thinking society is doomed and this is why the Cancel Culture movement which is forcing this on societies must be stopped now or they will kill civilization.
