Icheoku while expressing our condolences to the followers and devotees of Hindu holy man, Sathya Sai Baba, on his loss, says what a surprise that a "God" could die? The holy man considered a god by millions of his followers and devotees worldwide, died of old age related infirmities and to the dismay of his followers who thought that he would live forever; he was 86 years old. Fondly known as Sai Baba, he was single, never married nor had children; but unlike Jesus Christ lived longer than 33years and was not crucified but died of natural causes. His ashram or base is in Puttaparthi village in southern Andhra Pradesh state India. Icheoku says may the soul of this "God" rest in peace and hopefully he was not just another con-artist who took a gullible world for a ride, hypnotizing them into believing he was what he said he was - a Living God? Except that a living God is infinite and does not and cannot die or are we expecting another resurrection in a few days time? But before that who takes care of business for and on behalf of the dead God? Icheoku asks, but now that the "God" himself has died who will then be in charge of the flock? At least if Sai Baba was only modest enough to claim that he was a messenger or even son of God, may be God would send a replacement? But when God dies what follows is nothingness - the end!
