It was a very big fat wedding for the world's fattest man, Manuel Uribe, 43, who married his his long-term girlfriend, hairdresser Claudia Solis in Mexico on Sunday October 26th, 2008.
Manuel Uribe who once weighed over 1000lbs, was named the world's fattest man by the Guinness Book of Records in 2007. Although Manuel has been losing weight gradually but he has remained confined to his bed which he has not been able to leave in the past four

As the couple was declared husband and wife, Mr Uribe broke into tears later saying that "I have a wife and will form a new family and live a happy life."
