LAW AND ORDER MAKES SOCIETY LIVABLE: SAY NO TO DEFUND POLICE.
ICHEOKU says majority of those snowflakes shouting disband the police, defund the police, will be the first victims of a lawless state which they are inadvertently calling for. Without law enforcement there is no society and it becomes a jungle where only the strongest and the fittest survive. Laws of the jungle is definitely different and it has no accommodation for the weak, the sick and the infirm. Those shouting for the abolishing of the police are about the weakest in the society and they need police protection more than those who are calling for the police to stay.
Unbeknownst to them, the police is the reason they have survived till today and thrived thus far. Remove the police today and people like Mark Zuckerberg will lose his ownership of Facebook, ditto the gaunt fella of Twitter, Jeff Bezos and so many others who a lawful society midwifed their existence and thriving. Imagine a society where the Minneapolis Mayor is left to fight for survival with Mike Tyson and you tell ICHEOKU the natural outcome. But these silly people are ungrateful for the security provided them by the existence of police and are taken everything for granted, the reason they have been running their mouth saying to defund and ban the police. If you ban the police today, they will not live to their full life expectancy as somebody will take them out without fear of law enforcement.
Many of them do not even know any better to understand and fully appreciate the ramification of what they are advocating. Many of them also do not have international passports and have never taken a trip outside the United States of America to understand how good they have it, having a police that do not constantly shake them down for bribes and at every corner. Even those who traveled, never made it to some countries where there is no 911 to dial when in trouble and where lawlessness is the norm and survival is the only order of the day. If only these agitators know better, they will be forever thankful and grateful for the law and order which exist in America, which is maintained by the police.
ICHEOKU says despite its shortcomings, which obviously could use some reforms, the police is not expendable in any society that wants to live and thrive in peace. The ensuing chaos is always such that even the worst kind of police is preferred to its complete absence. Somalia, Afghanistan, Waziristan, some parts of Mexico and of course the looting ad burning arising from the protest showcases what absence of police begets. America also once had its Wild Wild West and then, only the ruthlessly strong survived and no sane person should wish this on America, especially not the little minded fellows calling for the police to be disbanded through defunding.
What is needed is a sensible reformation and increased funding to help the police do a thankless risky job they are faced with. They are confronting society's dregs, people who are anti rules and order and these people for the most part has nothing to lose. The police put their lives on the line each day or night they step out to do their job, protecting the society. They are human beings too and many have families, wives, husbands, brothers, sisters, parents and children they like to return back to at the end of their shift. They are also under enormous pressure doing their job and the stress sometimes overcomes them. Many of them have been killed on the job, shot, stabbed and spitted on. Some have died as a result of accidents they were involved in while responding to someone in distress.
Therefore all these anti police outcries need to stop as it is not daily that the George Floyd's incident occurs. Every group has their own bad eggs and even Jesus Christ had Judas Iscariot in the midst of his twelve disciples. That a few police are bad does not mean that the entire police is bad and America cannot allow this group guilting of the police to take roots. It is not fair to those police who are doing their best to protect and serve society within established laws and tolerable practices. Instead of the excessive antagonism of the police, let Americans try to understand and appreciate the work which they do. When any of them errs, then punish the errant officer individually and not impose a collective punishment on all the police.
Also, necessary reforms should be made to fix any observed shortcomings and to make the job easier for the police and to protect the policed. But removing the last bulwark between civilization and the jungle should be a complete no deal. Nature abhors a vacuum and if the police goes, the underground world will take over. ICHEOKU strongly believes that none of these snowflakes will prefer a life under the mob and their henchmen to the police, no matter how bad some of them may feel against the police. Reform the police where necessarily needed but reject the call for institutionalizing lawlessness. #SayNoToDefundPolice.
