RUSSIAN JOURNALIST FAKED MURDER: SIMPLY PATHETIC.

ICHEOKU says not even the fake news CNN would have pulled off this farcical nonsense, albeit so convincingly that thousands, if not millions, of world media, including ICHEOKU wrote about the story. To so deceive the world with such a heinous and macabre staged incident, especially one implicating a sovereign neighboring nation Russia and their president Vladimir Putin, Ukraine overreached itself. This is the height of recklessness and a needless propaganda attack, capable of generating an international incident. 

ICHEOKU says what Ukrainian authorities did is condemnable and should be condemned by everyone, especially those concerned with objectivity and fairness and the need to always speak truthfully, especially in this days of so much fake news that it is hard to distinguish which news is real and which one is fake. ICHEOKU hereby condemn Ukrainian authority and Arkady Babchenko for perpetrating and partaking in this extremely provocative evil plot.

By lying to the world about a murder which never took place and the alleged victim being still alive, this fake news now makes Ukraine an official State sponsor of fake news. They owe the world, especially Russians and their President Vladimir Putin, an unreserved apology for maligning him and making him look bad before the civilized world. ICHEOKU had earlier written to condemn Vladimir Putin for this barbaric act and hereby apologizes for same, as the information available then which elicited the position taken then has now been proven to be false. 

Whatever is going on and whoever is trying to goad Russia into war should thread carefully because sometimes, what someone wishes for, often does not turn out to be exactly what was primarily desired. First was the Syrian gas attack in Douma; then the Skripals nerve agent attack in Salisbury England and now this Ukrainian nonsense in Kiev. Enough of all these hair-raising needless and avoidable provocations. Ukraine should be made to offer a public apology and possibly sanctioned for creating such a needless tension in a world which is already bursting at the seams, nearing a boiling over and which can use some real peace presently. 

What Ukraine achieved by the fake murder is beyond ICHEOKU's comprehension, because with the revelation that the Arkady Babchenko is still alive, his would be assassins will still try to track him down and eventually whack him. So what use was this hoax afterall. There is a reason people do not shout lion, lion, all the time because eventually when the real lion appears and is devouring the livestock, would be helpers would just dismiss the shout as the usual false alarm. So what if he is finally killed as is most likely to be the case now, at least to avenge the maligning, how would Ukraine explain it and expect the world to believe it and extend sympathy.

Simply put, it is just an inexplicable and inexcusable stunt, so shockingly convulsing that the whole incident is just nuts, stupidity to the highest order. And for the journalist, Arkady Babchenko, he is a pitiful denigrate to have signed up on the plot; especially without even disclosing it to his wife. What if she has had a heart attack watching her husband in his own blood on the floor in their home? The incident  is, as Susan Henchard,  wife of Michael Henchard in Mayor of Casterbridge would say, a joke is a joke but once  too often. It is as nauseating as it is tasteless; and it rather, further complicated an already worsening situational relationship between President Vladimir Putin's Russia and Ukraine. It is definitely in bad taste, no excuses or justification whatsoever.
