Icheoku says the Democratic Party Convention in Philadelphia has come to a close with Hillary Rodham Clinton, formally accepting her party's nomination as candidate to run for the presidency of the United States of America. With "I Hillary Clinton do accept my party's nomination as presidential candidate nominee", Hillary Clinton became the first woman to ever win a major political party's presidential nomination since America came into being.
A historical first, admitted Icheoku would rather another more likable and trustworthy woman of America had the privilege and honor of setting the record; and not the one who has rightly earned her sobriquet Crooked Hillary.
Regardless, her performance delivering her acceptance speech was relatively an improvement from her usually, notoriously boring speeches, marked by high pitched shrieking, hiccups and spasm of dry coughs. Her tone, posture, body language and speak mannerism was acceptable. It however did not match the very stellar speech of First Lady Michelle Obama, who as far as Icheoku is concerned, won the first place speaker among all who spoke at Philadelphia. Based on her level, the speech was as good as it got and Icheoku is satisfied. Icheoku says congratulations to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party's presidential nominee and wishes her well going forward.
Now, let the final stretch of dueling for the White House begin and begin in all seriousness. Icheoku supports Donald Trump, convinced on his can do attitude, his winning attitude and the fact that he is an apparent outsider, with capacity and ability to affect much needed change in Washington and by extension the world. His shortcomings notwithstanding, he will definitely brush up as he walks the long tedious walk to the presidency. As rightly pointed out by President Obama, no one actually knows anything about being president until he or she becomes president; sitting in the Oval Office and challenged with rapid fire decisions. Icheoku strongly believes that Donald John Trump, a CEO, will learn and learn very fast and will be the best president anyone can be and will rebuild America and make America great again. Overall, the DNC convention was a success and well put together, the razzmatazz considered.
