ELEVEN YEAR OLD CHILD-WIVES, NOW LEGAL IN NIGERIA?

Icheoku says with the Nigeria Sexual Offenses Law (Bill) 2015 sponsored by Chris Anyanwu and Ahmed Yerima, similarly situated child-mothers will now be a common happenstance in Nigeria where the new law makes it okay for children as young as eleven years to be sexually violated by men, many of who are as old enough to be their great grandfathers. Icheoku says what is wrong with the Nigerian society that perpetually pivots to things of the last century.
