It was an irony of fate watching and hearing this very President George Bush's sudden change of heart with his invocation of the world to make or buttress a point. Icheoku asks President George W. Bush, at what point in his presidency did the President start to give a hoot about what the world's opinion is concerning acts, commissions and omissions of his government? At what point in his lapsing presidency did it begin to matter to President George Walker Bush that what the world thinks is important? At what point did President George Walker Bush start his repentance from a 'do it alone' philosophy to now newly minted mantra "the world is watching". Icheoku asks, is President George Bush tired of his near isolationist policies?

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH SAYS "THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING"!
Today, September 22, 2008, President George Walker Bush issued a statement at the White House saying that 'The whole world is watching" how the U.S. government addresses the business turmoil that has roiled markets here and abroad. The President was alluding to the need to quickly pass legislation stabilizing the country's troubled financial system with his governments proposed infusion into the economy of a $700Billion dollars rescue fund!
At what point did President George Walker Bush start his repentance from a 'do it alone' philosophy to now newly minted mantra "the world is watching". Icheoku asks, is President George Bush tired of his near isolationist policies?

The crux of this discuss is to highlight some of the hypocrisies of President George Walker Bush administration and the Republican Party in general. Whenever it suits their convenience they will ride a world-wide acceptable wave otherwise they will dig in their entrenched right wing position. When President George Bush invaded Iraq under the pretext of an existent weapons of mass destruction (WMD), did he care about all the world opinion which were to the non-existence of such weapons? But what did Bush do? President George Walker Bush was not deterred and went ahead to break that "fine porcelain in a china-shop" which Colin Powell had warned against and today the debacle in Iraq is for history and posterity to find a common meeting ground to try to explain it. When the warrant-less wiretap on Americans were going on with his administration's approval and authorization, did President George Bush care about what the world opinion is? Was the world's opinion necessary when the atrocious Abu Gharib torture scandal erupted? What about Guantanamo prison which the entire world has been calling for its closure? Water boarding became an acceptable instrument of cohesion under his government but despite being condemned by the world opinion it never deterred President George Bush! Rendition became popular during his government yet President George Bush government tried to justify it. Eeh it is a no go area for world opinion or oversight! Suddenly having driven the American and perhaps the world's economic bus into the trench, President George Bush is now appealing to the better side of man in order to stampede members of Congress into authorising, without due diligence and deliberation, what his administration says is the only meaningful panacea to a avert a complete economic meltdown!
Icheoku only wishes that a person like George Walker Bush is never allowed again to run the affairs of this great nation of ours. Grandpa Senator John McCain is such a person and will be more of the same if not worse! Just do not do it America! Reject the candidacy of Senator John McCain. No Way! No How! No McCain! No Palin!
