His Royal Highest Igwe (Ambassador) L.O.C. AGUBUZO, OON was in California recently to honor an invitation for a visit. His Excellency was hosted by his close friend Professor CN Okeke & wife Tina and some select few others, to an evening of warm felicitations. We feel privilieged to have shared an evening with your Majesty! This message is to say to His Excellency, thank you for coming!
We are glad at the opportunity to meet with such an erudite son of Wawaland; a bona fide Enugu State indigene of no mean repute. A man who has travelled extensively globally and has served Nigeria in various capacities including Commissioner of the African Union (AU); Assistant Secretary General of the former Organisation of African Unity (OAU); High Commissioner aka Ambassador of Nigeria to Zambia and Malawi; Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations in New York.
The Nigeria government recognized Ambassador L.O.C. Agubuzo for his impeccable services to his motherland and conferred him with a National Honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON)

Today his people of Ezema Olo Autonomous Community in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria has called upon this illustrious son of theirs to serve them as their traditional ruler (King)! As a traditonal ruler, Ambassador LOC Agubuzo is now the Igwe of Ezema-Olo!
