TRUST BUT FIRST VERIFY: PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

ICHEOKU says there was a time when his assurances would have weighted enough to sign off on his judgeship of the impeachment trial, but not any more; especially not now that the extreme left wing of the Democratic Party have taken the party hostage and their will rules. His is a case where "trust but first verify" is not even sufficient to give him a benefit of the doubt as such a partisan who has been a fierce Democratic Senator since 1975 cannot suddenly shade his partisanship and be fair to President Donald John Trump who the Democrats hate with passion. America also saw his unrepentant Democratic Party bias during the Justice Brett Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation hearing and you ask yourself, why did he even agree to sit over such a bogus impeachment in the first place, fully aware that it is an aberration to try a president who has served out his term in office.

Why did the Democratic Party not select an Independent Senator to preside instead of such an arch democrat, at least it would have given the trial some coloration of impartiality. But no, it is a man who has been a "severe" party loyalist and have always voted in tandem with party dictates since 1975 when he first became a senator. ICHEOKU says anyone trusting that Senate President Pro Tempore Patrick Joseph Leahy is capable of being fair in the matter of President Donald John Trump's impeachment trial might as well believe that a leopard is capable of changing its spots or that a mice can be be fairly judged by a jury of wild cats. But be that as it may, how about the appearance of impropriety since fairness demands that justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done. #SayNoToUnjustImpeachment.
