MYANMAR MILITARY COUP: WHITE HOUSE'S STATEMENT IS SIMPLY LAUGHABLE.

ICHEOKU says isn't it ridiculous and ludicrous that America which is still bleeding from an inconclusive and contested election is now somewhat playing a defender of elections and an anti altering of election outcome to Myanmar. It said that the 'United States opposes the attempt to alter the outcome of the recent elections in Myanmar or the attempt to impede Myanmar's democratic transition and will take action against those responsible if these steps were not reversed.' Such a hot air would have amounted to something and may be forced a reversal of course were it before the travesty that was the last November 3rd American presidential election.

How could any country after witnessing what happened on the night of November 3rd leading up to January 6th to January 20th and continuing till this day in America listen to such bombast from the White House. How can any country feel obligated to do right by their election when the outcome of America's election is still not settled in the minds of over 75 million MAGA nation which still strongly believe that President Donald John Trump won the election but was robbed of victory through the machinations of the Democratic Party aided by the Deep State.

It should have been first things first for America; and until the American election is thoroughly and conclusively investigated, America's sanctimonious preaching of democracy to other nations will be summarily ignored and at best treated with levity. Everybody saw what transpired in the November 3rd election; it is still fresh and sour in millions of people's minds, and such is now an albatross facing America and its gospel of democracy. Where lies the moral authority of the White House to tell Myanmar military generals how to operate in their country when neither Myanmar nor any other country told America how to operate during the November 3rd election debacle.

It is about time America removed the clog on its democratic eyes first before pointing a finger at the spec on any other country's democratic eyes, including Myanmar. Recall that Mali military also carried out a coup and those army juntas are still in charged of affairs in Bamako, so why single out Myanmar for a lecture on respecting elections outcome. Aung San Suu Kyi is not respecting the civil liberties of the Rohingya muslims in Myanmar, so what difference does it even make anyway whether it is she or the military that is in power since both are somewhat despotic and anti democracy. America should stop playing the role of policeman of the world and concentrate its energies on rebuilding a hollowed out nation with a dying middle belt and afflicted urban cities. Enough of the holier than thou adumbrations. Let Myanmar and its Asian neighbors sought themselves out.
