ICHEOKU says never in the history of political party politics has a party brought so much harm on itself than the Republican Party as it presently stands. The only way forward for the party is to be dismantled and a new party birthed that will be more dynamic, more compassionate, more feisty and which will fight harder as if their political life depends on recorded victories. But the present crop of good ole boys holding sway in the Republican Party needs to go; they need to make way for more viable and able young turks to take control. People who still have and possess the seal to put up the good fight necessary to protect the interest of their grassroots.
These old Republicans have to voluntarily retire or be forced out and be made to move on for a new breed of Republicans to reinvent and reposition the party. The old guard no longer have what it takes and if they could not defend their turfs in Georgia and Arizona; could not defend their presidency and their majority in the Senate, what use are they anyway going forward. They do not speak with one voice, they are deathly afraid of the Democratic Party and they do not know any longer how to fight bareknuckle, the reason the Democratic Party usually make a mince meat of them on every issue and controversy. They easily cave to pressure and they always play to be loved and accepted by the other side and mainstream media at the expense of their base.
What use are they anyway still calling themselves a political party when they cannot act and fight like one; and which represents the other half of the American polity. If the current imbroglio was about a Democratic president, Democrats would have forcefully stood by him or her and fought bloody and would have also spin what took place into an explainable passionate reaction of the people; afterall some people did something which some people will do anyway. But no, they ran to the hills at the slightest push and abandoned everything dear to the party including their president and their voting bloc. Where is the fight in them anyway and if they cannot defend their voters and president, what then is the use of their continued existence.
These people who have outlived their political usefulness and should go or be forced to go. Enough of the fear and enough of the capitulation. Let those who can fight take over and assure Americans that there are still two formidable political parties in America. How can they allow the Democrats to divide and conquer them by causing such an irrecoverable rift between them and their base. How dare they accept the narrative that those who breached the Capitol were asked by the president to do so? How can they accept the narrative that it was the MAGA family and not some of them that wrecked havoc in the Capitol? Where were they when Ilhan Omar in response to 9/11 said "because some people did something?" Where were they when Nancy Pelosi in response to BLM and ANTIFA mayhem said "some people gonna do what some people gonna do?"
Why would these Republicans attribute what happened to the MAGA world and accept that the president was responsible for it. Was Iran which shouts "death to America" responsible for 9/11? When 9/11 happened through the action of Saudi Arabia nationals, was Saudi Arabia held responsible for it? Too what if the president said to march to the Capitol but he did not say to breach the Capitol or destroy it or things therein. ICHEOKU says is not justifying nor in any way trying to explain away or condone the havoc that was the Capitol storming, but strongly disagrees that the Republican Party should pile up on the president for what happened. Yes, his words may have caused some people to over react and over exhibit their passion, but to hold him responsible for the actions of adults is simply over reaching.
A matter made worse because these Republican leaders did not give the president a benefit of the doubt before joining forces with his detractors to nail him on the cross. But regardless of what happens, the beneficiary is the Democratic Party which have successfully buried the Republican Party, admitted those Republican leaders might be mistaken that it was only the president that was ran over. Far be it as MAGA is comprised of diverse Americans from diverse political and philosophical backgrounds and they strongly stand firm with the president. They do so because they are convinced on the rightness of his cause and they also strongly believe that Joe Biden did not win the election and could not have won it, at least not honestly.
The president wanted to pursue the declared result of the election but was not allowed to so do. He hired election lawyers but they were intimidated and blackmailed into withdrawing from the case. He approached the various courts in the land including the Supreme Court to hear him out but they rejected his plea. What then did any rational and reasonable person expect people to do if not to act out their passionate conviction. Now some of these people are being punished when other people who did similar things last summer were not punished. Where is the justice and where is the fairness; yet some people are preaching a hollow unity and you wonder how can people truly unite when they are treated differently due to their political believe and ideological differences. If we are one American then equal treatment should be administered to everybody. No justice, no peace. But ICHEOKU blames it on Republicans who have mortgaged their souls to Washington DC Deep State and could care less about their base supporters. It is sad.
