ICHEOKU says 14 Diaspora Nigerians have so far succumbed to the coronavirus disease. Eight of them died in the United Kingdom while the other six passed away in the United States of America.
Many of them were medical doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers infected while on their job trying to save coronavirus patients.

They are Dr Alfa Sa’adu, Carol Jamabo, Dr Kole Abayomi, Bode Ajanlekoko, Adeola Onasanya, Ugochukwu Erondu, Chidinma Olajide, Mmaete Greg in the UK; while Bassey Offiong, Dr Caleb Anya, Akeem Adagun, Jonathan Amarachi, Laila Abubakar and Patricia Imobhio died in USA.
