"I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior." - Hillary Clinton.
"Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein. Any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status. We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories. And we all need to build a culture -- including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect -- so we can make such behavior less prevalent in the future." - Barack Obama.
ICHEOKU says are they going to return the millions of dollars their campaigns received from Harvey Weinstein, including the $100,000 he donated to the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation. This is the only meaningful way of expressing real disgust at a despicable misbehavior and not just offering remarks that waited for five long days before coming; especially because it is the most political expedient thing to do now. Further, ICHEOKU hopes that the president's daughter Malia was never similarly victimized by the pervert when she interned for him last summer. Now, both should return the pervert's money to him.
