ICHEOKU says for those of us who were lucky to have grown up during the good old days of less distractions that is totally different from today's world of handheld devices and other distracting gadgets, James Bond meant virtually the whole world of our entertainment and Sir Roger Moore helped bring it down into our living rooms. Yes, ICHEOKU says it was indeed an exciting era to have been alive and there is no regrets whatsoever.
However, as with everything mortal, Roger Moore has ran his race, a good race it was and has now died, of old age related cancer. Sir Roger Moore was 89 years. Among the many roles he played in his acting career spanning several decades, including many award winning roles, nothing brought him more fame and fortune and into millions of homes as his role in James Bond as an M15 spy on Her Majesty secret service. ICHEOKU's most favorite of all his James Bond movies is "The Spy who loved me"; admitted others including "Live and Let Die", The Man with the Golden Gun", "Moonraker", "For Your Eyes Only", "Octopussy" and "A View to Kill" are all great acts which were all spectacular as of their own right. ICHEOKU equally enjoyed his Simon Templar role in "The Saint." May his soul now rest and his memory will live forever in many of his great works. Adieu Mr Bond.
