Mr. Tony Snow, a former Fox Television anchorman and radio talk-show host, who later became Whitehouse Press Secretary and chief spokesman for the Bush administration died early Saturday morning after losing his long running battle with colon cancer. Tony Snow was 53 years old!
Mr. Tony Snow was first diagnosed with colon cancer and treated in 2005, a year before joining the White House staff. The cancer later returned after an operation in March 2007 to remove what doctors thought was a benign growth in his lower abdomen. The cancer subsequently spread to his liver, forcing Mr. Snow to quit his new dig at the Whitehouse for treatment and later for somewhat greener pasture in the media as a commentator for CNN.
Tony will be missed by his family and friends as well as millions other America who knew. Icheoku says, shame on you colon cancer; Tony sleep in the Lord!
