"When two raging fires meet together, they do consume the thing that feeds their fury. Though little fire grows great with little wind, yet extreme gusts do blow out fire." - William Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrew.

TINUBU KNOCKS KASHAMU OUT AND COLD !

TINUBU KNOCKS KASHAMU COLD AND OUT, WAY TO GO !

“The days of false adulation are gone in Nigerian politics. Fake praise singers like Kashamu will find that their particular craft is no longer in vogue. During this election cycle, their practice has dramatically turned from the way things are to how things used to be. Politicians will no longer be able to change direction and loyalties as if they were changing clothes. Those in politics must know that responsibility and accountability shall now follow them. One can no longer walk both sides of the street at the same time. In case Kashamu has not noticed, the politics of principle defeated the politics of posturing. Kashamu may be prodigal but he is no political son of Tinubu. Please keep your peace until you make your trip to the USA as a senator-elect. I do not spend time with characters whose values are at variance with societal expectations and laws governing a decent society.” - Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

MO IBRAHIM FELICITATES WITH JONATHAN.

The news from Nigeria today is wonderful. Africa’s largest country has concluded a peaceful election process. Furthermore, the incumbent has already gracefully conceded and congratulated his successor – a first for Nigeria and a benchmark for other African countries to follow. Today, we Africans are all proud of Nigeria and President Jonathan. Thank you Mr President. If you are seeking a legacy, you have definitely achieved it.”

BUHARI, WINNING HEARTS AND MINDS?

"I pledge myself and the government to the rule of law, in which none shall be so above the law that they are not subject to its dictates, and none shall be so below it that they are not availed of its protection. You shall be able to go to bed knowing that you are safe and that your constitutional rights remain in safe hands. You shall be able to voice your opinion without fear of reprisal or victimisation." - President-elect Muhammadu Buhari.

ATIKU'S KIND AND WELL SAID WORDS.

"To President Jonathan, I want to specially thank you for conducting a historic election. Your party may have lost the elections, but you have won the admiration of the world by not interfering with the wishes of Nigerians. History will be kind to you. It is my sincere hope that we will all come together as one country, to build the Nigeria of our dreams." - Abubakar Atiku, congratulating President Goodluck Jonathan on his conceding defeat to Muhammadu Buhari.

ONLY THE POOR WISH THEY HAD STUFF?

“I’m not that interested in material things. As long as I find a good bed that I can sleep in, that’s enough.” - Nicolas Berggruem, the homeless billionaire.

$150, 000.00 FOR SARAH PALIN'S WARDROBE?

Grandpa Senator John McCain is a hypocrite! Whereas he is allegedly campaigning for the 'Joe the Plumbers' of America, his party is spending a whopping one hundred and fifty thousands dollars (150,000.00) to spiff up their Alasakan wildlife killer Sarah Palin! How many Joe the Plumbers make $150,000.00 a year talk-less of spending same on their wife's dresses? This, singularly, exposes to America where the heart of Senator John McCain really lies - on the less than 5% of America's wealthiest. Now you decide which of the candidates will best protect your behind. A vote for Senator Barack Obama is the answer - it will solve our problems. He is the one to move us forward. Senator John McCain is simply a cheat - a conniving gnome who is trying so hard to be different things to so many people at the same time. Please do not let this erratic grave-bound Senator hoodwink you into voting otherwise. Vote smart, vote for Barack Obama on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008!
